The main purpose of the role is that the person I protect can't be killed, but it's not too much of a stretch to imagine they may be unable to use their abilities when engaged with me. However, based on what John said, it could very well be a case there is a role-blocker out there who did role-block some one successful who was the Mafia.

To be honest someone else being a role-blocker always seemed more likely to me, just a wild stab in the dark with that vote. Unvote.
