Seems like regular EB 1.2 to me... the mod's rarely change this appearence (user interface UI). Seems to me you have the red (too much red for me- one of the motives I don not play with Rome) colours bause you are palying with the Roma faction. the one you founded beautifull is the greek UI.

Playing with BI i regularly see SPQR invasions of Corsica and Sardinia as well as Carthage shipping troops to iberia. Playing as Pontos I've had both the Maks and Epieros attack my capital (Amaseia) via naval invasion. I've never seen the Casse do anything like that though.

Yeah, I regularly see rome taking at least Corsica, if not always Sardinia. I haven't had rome win a punic war in a long time. Haven't seen the Ptolmies win the Syrian wars either in many, many games lately. Carthage is often landing armies at Capua and then taking the entire italic peninsula from there. Although the best was the MASSIVE naval invasion of greece by the carthies. 2 almost full stacks and one stack of 2 units landed at Sparta. But they just sat there making the land go black for ages.

Interestingly even Arche Seleukeia is using navies alot. I have seen the town of Salamis taken almost every game quite early on. As the KH, I have been attacked at Kydonia and Rhodos by AS. And once saw an AS fleet land to the left of Alexandria and beseige it from there. Was unsuccessful but it broke the stalemate in the Gaza area and they just poured into Egypt.

I use BI.exe. Always play with fog of war off cause its more fun to not micromanage my spies and I like to check up on the AI whenever I see a city on the map change colour. Also I have given all AI factions a Massive (250%) law bonus on their main core building so that they don't rebel. It also cancels out all corruption which seems to be giving the AI factions more money. They use navies a bit more perhaps? Of course the Casse do nothing and just sit there, sometimes not even uniting their island by 200BC.

Does this answer the question of BI vs Alex...? Do I even want to ask?

Your right, it is a Roman thing. I loaded the "greek" faction and it looked the same as the display that I admired.

But I only play as the Romans, :(.

I wish they had a better looking display....
Imo, the following "mod" is almost perfect:

Changing it's a fairly simple matter. Go into your EB/data/UI/ROMAN folder and rename the INTERFACE folder INTERFACE2. Then enter EB/data/UI/GREEK folder and copy the INTERFACE folder there over to EB/data/UI/ROMAN. You'll now have a Roman game with Greek UI. If you want to change it back, rename the interface folder you copied over from GREEK to ROMAN and then change the name of the original interface folder in ROMAN (The one that you renamed at the very beginning) back to INTERFACE. If done correctly, you'll get something like this:

Is that save game compatible? When you mod, when is it that you need to make copies in the sp backup folder? Like map.rwn or the others?

Also, if we did what was suggested above, wont that change all the "interface" of Roman pics to Greek pics? What if I only wanted to change the area that shows what buildings/armies are in a spot and the area with the end of turn button, the map area too, if that is different? I don't want to change anything else.

I don't know about save game compatability--it should be, but it might not be. I do think it is, though. I'll test it later.... There is nothing in the sp game backup to delete, nor is the map.rwm effected. The GUI's skin just isn't deep enough into the program for something like this to be required. It's really surface stuff. I've tested it--you merely need to change the relevant files. As for your last question, the ONLY things that this changes (assuming you do it correctly and only replace the interface folder) are the interfaces you see in my screenshot and the corresponding interfaces in the battle UI. Nothing else.
