Hi people, i just starting playing the original MTW and i am absolutely hooked on this gem of a game. Ive probably put 30 hours into it but i feel like ive barely scratched the surface. I mostly joined to get abit of input from some of you MTW experts so i can fine tune my strategies and make my playing experience more enjoyable

Well, hello there! Unsure as to how to go about introducing himself, this young man has stumbled in here confused and confronted with at least sixty pages! Quite a popular forum, he thinks. This man goes by the name of Duwhitegoku, me. I'm quite obviously new to these the Total War Forums, I'm an avid player of Rome: Total War and it's expansion pack Barbarian Invasion, looking to foray into what seems to be a wonderful community for said games and to spur my interest in the franchise on to the various other games in this Total War series. I'm something of a writer, and foray into several kinds of roleplaying. In favor of time and your eyes, I think I'll actually cut this short instead of giving my life story. (Ha!) So in short: Hi, I'm duwhitegoku.

And the fans of the other total war games will be happy to talk you into getting some of the other titles out there If you like roleplaying, there's sections on this website dedicated to just that sort of thing.

Hello there, totalwar.org, my name's Amsel.

Now I suppose you're all sick of folks with no postcount and weird names traipsing in here and selling you some yarn about how Askthepizzaguy recruited them to play a forum game, but I'm afraid that's why I'm here, too. I'm one of those Civilization Fanatics' Center fellas; we follow ATPG around like moths chasing a bat on fire.
