Default None of my FMs died of a natural cause

    Let me introduce to you...

Okay, and this is no exception. I have another FM who is 88, and several other in their 60s. I played until 248 BC and so far NONE of my FM died naturally.

Is this a bug or just coincidence?

Do you play ALX.exe, I've heard of people who had this and it had to do with the hidden "Alexander" trait.

Yes, but I previously played several campaigns and didn't have these problems.

If so, what could I do?

    Yes to skullhead.

Did you follow the advises posted by maksimus in his Alex/EB thread?

That is irreversible... before starting a new campaign search the EDCT for the "immortal" trait and delete it (my guess). Or, post at the thread (see above).

you can delete immortal trait in EDCT and it is save game compatible: i did that around 180-170BC in my pahlava campaign: i had too many family members, but when i deleted that trait, i had around 10 family members dead per turn: until then, my empire was an empire of very old men (100-150 years old): even the years of age of my faction leader did reset, so after his age reached limit (i think it was around 160 years), he started as a young man all over again X)

Nah... it wasn't just Alex... I also get a lot of old people, but most of them dead when they hit 90++ years.... I using BI and I got Alexandros Aiakides age is reverted back to 16, and rule Epeiros more than 250 years before die of the second old age... (I was using BI)... maybe the chances are soo rare... but even it was available in BI.exe... not just Alex

(If you want easier times getting rejuvenated character in BI, Try to play FATW and as the Reunited Kingdom, you'll got 105y old Palantir, the White Company commander as starting general... he often dies in the very first turns... but if he doesn't die at first turn... he has a very good chance to wait 55 years and he'll get back to 16 years old.)

    There are fixes for that.

Why is there an "Abokasee" trait? That's highly suspicious.

Do I need only to delete trait Immortal from export_descr_character_traits?

But never forget that they'll get an honourable death with their enemies under their foot and their throat screams the last heroic charge! (before impaled with something like sarissa...)

Oh, yeah, old men always get me touchy... I remember the seniors... hmmm...... maybe giving them a good job as governor will keep them from becoming dementia. Afterall just RP that they got "elixir of life" or something....

Sorry but when I did as it was said in this instruction I only got CTDs whenever I try to start new campaign or load game.

Does anyone have EDCT file that work properly?
