    Here is the correct video of England losing on those penalties. So agonisingly close. So very harsh.


    Don't really know what went wrong with the previous link I posted. That showed Germans, in the semis, in 1990. Apparantly, that should've been Argies, in the second round, in 1998. Most peculiar. Some glitch on YouTube surely. I know that the disciplined English would've spend those eight years practising penalties rather than lose from the 11 yard spot again. That would've been just heartbreaking - more little English boys shedding little boy's tears on their 350 quid England shirts.

    No, no. It's a genetic thing. We don't have the genes to score penalties, unlike the Germans.
