Cegorach, relieved to hear you're okay (thank the Lords!) and more importantly () that P&M is still going strong.

Hi Ceg. Just popping in to say I'm glad both you and the mod are still in decent shape, and that I'm still a go for testing.

Good to hear that the mod is still coming, I had to buy a new copy of MTW when I heard that PMTW 2 was on the way.

I am very willing to help play test the mod and will take any faction that you haven't managed to fill yet

IN a couple of days I will ask all the beta testers through PMs if they are still willing to do their work. Next I will update the list and inform you that you can choose. OK ?

Right now I have virtually everything to finish the mod - except some three websources I have lost, but I will find them rather soon.

When it is ready I will ask you all personally through PMs so don't bother.

Luckily tomorrow the 'long May weekend' starts in Poland (1st May and 3rd May are both holidays - 3rd May is the National Holiday of Poland BTW commemorating the Constitution of 1791) and even if I need to deal with some things during that time I should spare at least two entire days for modding.

I am not adding any new contents anymore - just filling up the gaps and correcting stuff here and there.

    Hi,

I`m enjoying playing The Knights in Age of Exploration and they are really great. But can anybody tell me what buildings I need to build a Tertio? It wasnt a prob an my Homeprovince Rhodos, but on other Provinces I have no Idea what building I need.

I`m playing pmtx for some time now and its pretty good. Is there any progress with 2.o so far? What i think would really great would be if that smoke line of fire from some of the Horse Archers added to the regimental cannons. I think regimental cannons shoot some kind of grenade and so it would looke good if these grenades would leave a line of smoke in the air, if you know what i mean. Sorry, i cant describe better what i mean.

    greets
    Jarod

    Hi, what's new?

I seem to be the only one posting on the MW2 board so I've come back here.

Any news of developments in ECW/TYW?

I've had some problems playing as Georgia. Their units rock, but it doesn't seem to be possible to recruit more of their elite cavalry (the elite mkhedrebi). It says they require horse breeder's guild and national assembly, but Georgia can't build national assembly. Is there some way of fixing this?!

The screenshot thread is sticky now. It is open as well so you can post screenshots you like to show.

A poll has been started, I am not sure what to do and it could help me with the decision.

I forgot the reason you stopped the Pike & Musket - Total War project. Is it something you'll be doing in the future, or is the RTW environment too restrictive?

    Way too restrictive.

Ironically MTW VI allws the most from the entire TW series, to some degree because the creators didn't expect some ideas.
Enoug to mention cloned/mirrored units, 'dismounting' infantry or infantry with true mounts which allow adding the dragoons of all sorts.

The last two possibilities seem most important to me. I am more and more convinced that mounted infantry is the single underrated superweapon from this period exceptionally important to understand the difference between warfare in the West and in central-eastern Europe.

Not to mention the possibilities it gives me.

Finally the AI is still able to use most of those improvements, even the warwagons (although this one rather poorly) which together wih crowds of enemies waiting to kill you everywhere makes the game a bit more challenging.

Is there any way I can make it possible to recruit the elite mkhedrebi while playing as Georgia? It says that a National Gathering is a prerequisite, but I have found that Georgia can't ever build a National Gathering. Can I change anything?

Time to face the truth - there is no fast way to import animations from Civilisation III.

It will have to be done step by step and sometimes pixel by pixel. Damn...

Anyway, I will start with the Landsknecht swordsman who is one of my most favourite soldiers of those years.

    The error will be corrected.

I might release a minor patch in early January - or even before the Christmas (if I am very, very lucky...) to deal with the simpliest and most annoying issues in patched 1.5.

    Greetings
First I must say this mod is simply the best mod I played in my life. And I played many mods.
Thx for your hard work and great effects Ceg. You are great.
When you end work with this mod you should make mod Europa Universalis: Total War.
    Great work.
BTW When or where I can get this new version on mod?

Phew, nice to see the ORG accessible for a change... I've experienced database errors, unpredictable crashes and other 'fun stuff' for almost the entire week before the Christmas. Simply awful.

    @Sarissofoi

    Thank you!

I am aming to have it ready to play in February. There might be some open or closed beta testing before the public release.

Much depends on progress made with new animations - some of them are too precious to be abandoned.
It is a hard and boring work to replace pinks with greens and to extract and place the animations where they are supposed to be, but worth the effort.

If anything P&M 2.0 is supposed to be twice as good as patched P&M 1.5.
