I mean, those two units are very similar (same model, region, funktion) so IF they'd make the way they are now into EBII, you couldm aybe free a unit slot by making it one unit available for Saka and B@tri%

When speaking about new (baktrian) units, I would love to see their faction specific phalangitai, they don't have to be elite, just their unique. That's just a wish.

Who says Baktria is in? Who says they have specific phalangitai. They didn't in EBI, did they?
Actually, now that you mention it, we should probably also tell them Rome and the Seleucid Empire were removed.Who says Baktria is in? Who says they have specific phalangitai. They didn't in EBI, did they?

All in the favour of Arabians, Numidians, Indians, and Australian tribesmen, eh? Good riddance. Who needs Greeks and Romans, all they bring is trouble.

Well ofcourse baktria is out. It wasn't even an independant faction.![]()
Good point!
By the way: I hope you guys get rid of thoose horse-riding-fool factions in the north-east of the map: they were just some stinking herdsmen who never even saw a real house of any kind and weren't even united until.... well until a guy called Attila finally got them to do what he said (and that was way out of the mods timeframe so yeah they should be removed)![]()

Indeed. And, on second thought, it is my sincere belief that the Getai have no place in a history-minded mod.
1) They were conquered by the Romans, so they must've been extremely weak, leading me to believe that their current unit roster is made up mostly of fabrications to make them viable in the game.
2) The Romans abandoned the place when the Goths rode in, so that area must've been of very minor strategical/economical/military importance.
3) Bartix (not related at all to Baktria) has yet to be properly represented in EB. Why bother with the insignificant Getai when there is a wealth of information regarding the Bartixioi? Come, EB team, don't let politics affect your decisions in making the most historical mod possible.

1) Indeed.

3) No it will not be in because of the limited information we have on their socio-political organisation. It's a very complex faction, that is hard to represent considering the limitations of modding. There will be some regional though. I mean what is a game without a Uranian deathray or 20 watt lightbulb levies?
Oh yeah, and please no more KH anymore... you should represent them as independent city states, one faction for each cities, so we can get G-String wearing spartans, geeky athenians, and money throwing rhodians.

Apoc: Yes, I have wondered that, as well. A Google search brought up:
Wimpy Tjeh: The great Belgian warrior, most famous for dropping his pants at the Battle of Someplaceinbelgumandnotinthenetherlands, and shouting to the Roman archers: 'Here's a target for jeh!' Also known as Wimpy of the Sore Ass.
Speaking of scotish voices, why do the carthagenian ships have them? Aye great lord? That makes no sense at all.
Completed Campaigns:
Macedonia EB 0.81 / Saby'n EB 1.1
Qart'Hadarst EB 1.2 / Hai EB 1.2
Current Campiagns:
Getai/Sauromatae/Baktria

They are the basic "carthaginian" voices from R:TW, as there isn't a voicemod available yet for naval units. However, "aye" is not necessarily Scottish. Also, the way they pronounce "r" is clearly not Scottish.Speaking of scotish voices, why do the carthagenian ships have them? Aye great lord? That makes no sense at all.

Aw geez, you guys totally ruined the meaning of my post.
And Moros, it was stated that all factions from EB1 will get it to EB2, so for future, you should make up better lies.![]()
