Why would I contradict myself? There is a clue in all that, and you need to find it to understand why I did what I did. Read more carefully and you will see I never said anything about "Ghosts".

Basically, the ghouls do a dancing jig with Nyixus (michael jackson with a face of a thousand horrors) carrying away Sasaki as he is screaming and shouting, and the town runs away and you and Gasmask just stand there staring in shock.
