It just occurred to me that we never checked our sent messages... Louis' text in particular seems to be replying to an invitation to go to a location ("I'll see you there at 7").

Miotas already pointed out where you were, and backtracking could have found it.

But still...you can read it, but he cant.

You're free to do so while you have someone else with you.

Theres nothing in the sent messages of your phone.

Ok well here it is then:

    http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ie=UTF...57.95,,0,-2.12

To the left is the abandoned brick building we started up against, opposite is the blue Fox building, next to the boarded up building with the metal rings which is apparently called "Cloudland" and is/was/will be a club/beer garden.

So what do we know so far...

    - We were somewhere with friends last night... They were kidnapped and we were either very drunk or perhaps even drugged and dumped outside in an alley..
    - We are French tourists in Brisbane AU
    - The cops suck but we seem to have made a friend (bow chika wow wow) with a girl cop who sadly seems rather useless too.
    - We are back where we started.

Ok... So I think we should search the imediate area for any clubs/pubs and use the girl cops badge to get cooperation lol.... Its very likely that the badies dumped us close cause its a bad idea to walk around have the city with a limp body lol.

After that we just ask questions of owners, bouncers, watress, barmen etc.

Stildawn... she's a cop. At the very least, she can kick someone's ass.

And since this is Australia, we know she has mace or some other kind of non-lethal device. The criminals probably have something better.

If the kidnapper have guns, I ING CALLED IT.

That maybe hence why I said we should use her... It cant hurt and she seems taken by us (haha funny to say 'us' as a pural when really theres only one person lol)

So yes we should use her to ask questions/do some investigating.... Actually Im gonna post an order to get this moving....

Mime to (whats her name) to look around the alley for any clues as to what has happened.... After that mime to her again asking if there are any pubs/clubs around the area....

My suspension of disbelief is no longer attached to a solid object at this point. Mime romance/mystery game? In Australia too?

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

You get thin meat. And you BBQ in front of you.

Originally from Korea and its very nice.

On a serious note, there is a parking lot near by which is normally where the kidnappers will go.
As for the bars... there is alot of them near the China town.

Have we tried calling Avril? Maybe the kidnappers have her phone.

You start looking around for clues with Krystal, when a beep comes from your pocket. You take your phone out and see that it indicates a low battery.

Capt. Blackadder is in Melbourne, about 1800km south of where you are.

Ok, well we have noted down the important numbers.

Show Krystal the low battery meter, then turn off the phone

    We may need it later.

As I see it, there's no obvious "Let's do this" option as there was in the earlier stage of the game.

EDIT: Whoops, haha, I thought this was the art of ruin

What on earth do we do now?

Start exploring the area in an expanding circle. Head into any bars and try to ask around if anyone recognises us or saw any French people last night. Try to get Krystal to help us

It's a long shot, but I can't think of anything better. Anyone is free to stop us if they can think of anything else, and if Pever hasn't updated us before you suggest something else I'll edit this order out.

What time/day of the week is it? pever said there aren't many people around, so a weekend? Sunday?

Also. You may want to find out where you are staying, i.e. a hotel or with locals or a hostel. You may want to try and get the number for the diplomatic office/French embassy, they may be able to help.

    If I may.

Head back to the Police Station with Krystal. Ask/mime if she would Google for French Embassy Australia. Get her to phone them using the her Police Station phone.

The Embassy will know the terms of your Visa, so you may be able to find out whether you are in Australia on Business/Holidays/etc.

You take the walk back to the office. When you arrive, you, eventually, manage to get krystal searching for the location of the French Embassy. You take a much needed glass of cool water.

A few minutes later, Krystal is holding the phone out to you.

    Take the phone

Explain who we are. Our current situation, and that we need desperate help or at least advices on how we should proceed.

You explain your situation to the person on the other end of the phone.

"Yes, Sir, I'll look into it and get back to you. The lady before has agreed to help you out in the meantime. I'll contact her if I can help."

Before hanging up, inform the embassy that you can't speak English, and ask if there's a service we could ring if we desperately need a translation.
