Hey sorry to intrude but I have to say that this game is brilliantly thought out Secura.![]()
thank you.
No lynch = Abstain? Ouch. It means we pretty much need to get a first-round lynch.
I would recommend not randomly voting anyone. As we don't want to lose a witness, the defence or the prosecution.

no ito him he is a god of mafia in my eyes...... or i am incredibly easy to trick.
let me put it this way he double crossed a kid who went to his school in bss. that says something.
The best one was the "Let me study your dragon balls" and Chaotix went "Sure! Nothing harmful in that" >_>

Thank you. I think I can write a good story (and it isn't difficult when Capcom made such an amazing world to play with), but I'm not so certain on my ability to host a game, hence why I'm a bit sketchy on rules and stuff. Hoping it works out and I can make more though!
I'm sorry, I mistook myself there. You are permitted to vote: no lynch if you don't wish for a lynch this round. You can also vote: abstain if you wish to forego your vote and allow the others to decide on what happens. I have narrative options to cover my tracks if you guys decide on no lynch for the round, just as I do if you lynched the Defense or Prosecution.
Please bear in mind, however, that the game can only last 120 hours total as a mini-game; it is at this point that the Judge will call a verdict himself.
"Blacker than a moonless night. Hotter and more bitter than Hell itself… that is coffee."
oh you dont even know how bad he got me......... i really dont want to talk about it.The best one was the "Let me study your dragon balls" and Chaotix went "Sure! Nothing harmful in that" >_>
though that is rather bad *waits for chaotix to come in with his head held down in shame*
Anyway, Vote: No Lynch
We need everyone to speak up, being honest. If some one doesn't speak up, I say to lynch him for being a waste of space.

we have a limited time for lycnches as the dear secura pointed out. either way vote: no lynch
This actually balances the game out a bit better than I expected. I was worried that the abilities of the Prosecution and Defense would imbalance things, but I realise now that a shrewd mafia will be able to close the case with some very well-planned moves before anyone knows what's going on.
Anyway, I have amended the rules in my very first post, and have also posted the victory parameters just in case anyone was confused.
Basically, it's either a mafia win, a town/lawyer win, a town/Defense win or a town/Prosecution win. I've got some narrative and images lined up to cover all the possibilities, so it's all down to how you guys play now. :3

For now I'll Vote: No Lynch. When I get home I'll make a proper response.

If I get a full set of votes in in less than the alloted 24-hours, then I can throw out the next updates sooner than 21:00 (or at least, put out the lynch results and save the 'Start of Night One' post, to get some debate going). Just a heads-up on that front for you.
The final results were:
No Lynch, 6: Beskar, Centurion1, Methos, AVSM, SplitPersonality, Cultured Drizzt fan
Pretty unanimous.

Sorry I was at my girlfriend's all day, will make sure to be more prompt and on time in the future.
No suspicions as of yet.

I will allow you all to have a think about your votes, but it's nice to see no lynch early on, at least. Let's you get into the game a bit more, which is occasionally hard to do when it's so short!
I'll get to work on the 'End of Day One' write-up for the morning, but I can tell you that a very confused police detective will be taking the stand.

I'm not really sure why you've brought me back up here, pal...
Detective Gumshoe, it is not your time to ask questions, but to answer them... recall the scene of the crime for us, if you will.
Y-yes sir, pal, sir! W-well, I have a photograph of the crime scene here:
U-ummm... as you can see, p-pal, the bodies of the Ducall family had been piled upon one another; both were shot in the back of the head...
And the evidence found at the crime? Perhaps you should explain for the benefit of Miss Fey...
Wohohoho... well, we had no choice but to arrest Madame Da Silva; we found a bracelet near the Ducalls which she has already confirmed as her own, ashes from a premium brand of cigarette used by the defendant, a newspaper bearing her inky fingerprint...

Yes, yes, thank you, Detective. I cannot think of a finer way to spend five hours of valuable time.
Could you summarise that for those who may have fallen asleep?Wohohoho, sure pal; firstly, we this bracelet:
It was found next to the Ducalls; the defendant has admitted that the item in question belongs to her.
This mobile phone belongs to the defendant too; it was found just inside the Stateman's Suite... I almost stood on it, pal!
![]()
Then we have this newspaper, printed on the day of the murder, a late edition; it bears Madame Da Silva's thumbprint.
And finally these flakes of burned tobacco and ash, proven to come from a superior brand smoked by Da Silva! And that's not even counting the murder weapon, which is covered in her prints too!
Thank you, Detective, you may stand down. Mr. Edgeworth, any thoughts on the matter?
It is evident from the fingerprint evidence alone that Madame Da Silva is guil-
Doesn't the defendant's fingerprints being everywhere strike you as suspicious? Look at her...
...she is wearing gloves. In fact, she wears them to the point of obsession!
If the defendant rarely removes her expensive gloves, why would she do so to commit a crime and leave evidence of her presence all over the crime scene? The facts don't add up...
...I would go as far as to suggest that my defendant is not guilty at all, merely an innocent woman caught in the wrong place at the wrong time!
*chuckles* And yet here we are, Miss Fey, wasting time learning facts we already know and watching Detective Gumshoe's monthly bonus dwindle away...
...have you considered that the dear Madame may not be as innocent as you believe, but an accomplice to the true criminal? Perhaps tomorrow we can actually get down to questioning a witness; time is no longer on our side.
A shame that the day did not yield anything sufficiently productive; perhaps tomorrow we can get back on track.
For now, court is adjourned until the morning. I will see Miss Fey and Mr. Edgeworth in my chambers, please.
It is now night. Please send in your orders.

"Blacker than a moonless night. Hotter and more bitter than Hell itself… that is coffee."
I have just realised that the game may not be as balanced as I previously believed.
I followed a Night-Day-Night-Day-Night format I've often seen utilised, but it doesn't really fit considering the abilities of the special roles as well as the narrative of the Phoenix Wright world in general. I will see how this game pans out, but I do intend to restart it with a Day-Night-Day-Night-Day format to more closely follow the games and ensure that the town (that being the Defense, Prosecution and witnesses) actually has a better chance of winning.
The game'll carry on, just a forewarning that the odds are unintentionally mafia-stacked. Apologies. :3

Been pretty ill today so going to delay the round until tomorrow, and shorten the final one in it's place. Which works out fine for a certain Defense Attorney who hasn't sent orders in yet.
Apologies. :3

Mr. Edgeworth! You're here?
The bailiff informed me of the attempt an upon your life during the night!
While I appreciate the concern, it takes more than a few hired thugs to keep me from the truth, your Honour...
*thinks to herself* And takes more than little help from a certain Defense Attorney, Mr. Edgeworth...
I am glad to hear it. Time is running out on this case and we still have much to learn. Who will you call to the stands first?
It is now day. You may now vote for the day's 'lynch'.

You are infact the killer, the one who disposed of Captain Blackadder.
