Should the Verrix stand outside all tribes, and be... "tribeless"? Should he being Verrix be completely irrelevant in the tribal assembly, even if this means that the same man who leads the Confederation is a messenger boy in his own tribe?

Well to my impression the Verrix would also stay elected as his tribes Vollorix. What better than a godking as tribeleader?

My question was just - if one wants to be Vollorix of the Arverni - must he "kill" Aneirin? Cause I think this is a wrong way. And bacause this I'd rather say it is possible to elect a new Vollorix trough tribe-assembly. I just think one has to have the possibillity - and not have to join an other tribe or open his own one. Then we could just play with the tree's intended first.

Oh and yes - I second Beans proposal. But only that the Verix' Vollorix post is to be newly decided. And the tribe also could elect the Verrix as their Vollorix. Just no 'mustbe-personalunion' of the posts Verrix/Vollorix.

Err, I don't think the Arverni will have a Sequani as their Vollorix.

Anyway, H_U, my Swede-sense tells me that you're in favour of re-electing the Vollorix upon the older one being elected Verrix, as are you, Bean. None of you seem to answer the directly following question, though: what happens then with the Verrix in relation to his tribe? I mean, does he still take part in the inner-tribal gatherings and sessions? Does he still vote? If so, from what position and with what power does he do this? Is he a regular tribesman within his tribe (thus "demoted" there from Vollorix to... something else), should we create a special "Verrix" state within the tribe, despite the fact that Verrix is a strictly Confederate rank? Will he be viewed as not part of a tribe anymore?

I think we should keep the Verrix as the Volorix of his tribe for now. Although it could be possible for the Verrix to name a Temporary volorix for governing the tribes lands while he is away leading the Army of the confederation.

I have started up the thread for our (Arverni) tribe to hold our gatherings (sessions) in. Hopefully I haven't made too many errors, but if you see any, point them out here, not in that thread.

If the Sequani can finish up electing their Vollorix (if not, I'll step in and appoint CDf, since he's favoured by most who has posted their opinion - in fact, everyone but himself ), they can create their own thread like it... and then I think we can begin.

I'm sorry guys, I've been overwhelmed lately. Civillian life is turning out to be... well . I was trying to get into a few schools, but the army told me to off since i wasn't accepted to any, which i was led to believe I would get into a university hands down. They just pay for it, you still need to be accepted :/

I've got another game, ArmA2 that I'm creating a clan for, being a founder for thats alot of work, plus this. Today I'm pushing my attention to this, so I'm going to get all this stuff done here and now.

Good point, Molin. There's supposed to be another thread which I believe CDf just forgot. In WotB it was called "The Agora". I'm not sure what we should call it here, though. Suggestions?

Regarding this picture, I suspect it's my character, who would be chiefly known as the Verrix. Yeah, it's not your best - he looks old and weak. If you're thinking of redoing him (or if I may make such a request, hur-hum ), may I suggest you make it into a propaganda piece? You know, where he looks determined and strong, wise and with a vision. Dressed royally and clutching a longsword in his hand (maybe holding it like a cane), staring off in the distance with a serious look on his face. You know the deal - like it was made to inspire respect, loyalty, not to mention outright devotion, as the greatest leader on earth.

If you could do that he'd set you up for life.

Stalin portraits are surprisingly serene.

I didn't have anyone in mind when drawing that. It's not based on any of the RTW portraits and so I generically named it "The Vollorix".

I'll work on the Verrix's portrait as soon as possible!

I think someone of you should stand in for CDf now. He had lost his internet connection (all electricity, in fact) due to a heavy storm and only just got it back when I spoke to him last. That was a week ago.

Also, I won't be able to do anything in-game for a while due to Norman security suit up my gaming computer. I'll have CP do the Verrix in-game things for me if it still isn't fixed when we get to that point. Maybe I shouldn't even joke about this as a GM, but with this speed I shouldn't think we need worry too much about that.

If it does, though, Belenos can (if he wish to) expect to command the Confederate Army while I'm indisposed.
