It's counter-productive for a townie to stay silent and not post; they might as well have not bothered signing up, it's just an insult to those who do contribute and to the host too, in my opinion.
So you want to mold each and everyones style of play to yours? Sigurd is a player that doesnt babble in the thread the whole time during the game, but has given many times good insights at the later stages of the game. With your logic only the ones who bark loudest should remain in the game.

No, that is not the case; this is an entirely different game setup. There are no power roles or anything of the sort to rely upon and we won't be informed if we lynch a mafioso or not until the second is found; the mafia get two kills per night regardless.

As I stated, I was informed that Sigurd was a good player; if he were town, could he not have made such sterling contributions sooner? Also, I appreciate the thinly-veiled insult there, very tactful and entirely puerile.

Again, not the case in this game; town conversation is key to victory. We're not waiting on a detective to reveal who the mafia is, we've got to figure it out for ourselves. How does staying silent help, exactly?

What would you advocate, then? Everyone stays silent except for voting? Be realistic.

Like i already said it doesnt have to be one of the extremes. You know some players tend to create discussion while others tend to follow the behaviour of other players and then give their views about it to others after some observation. Simple as that. Having played from the first game ever started in hear i have had some time to observe few of the regular players.

I have a very long way to go to catch you up in that respect. :P

Whilst I condone activity, I'm hardly going to condemn someone for not being really active if they never usually are, in fact it would look scummier if he was really active as its not usually what he does.

Though his posts haven't been useful so far (I assumed they may have been) I still don't need to vote him for it.

I think I do. Though Ibn does ping me a bit, I think I'd rather keep someone around who's going to give something to go on as the game goes on, as opposed to someone with basically no history at all.

    vote: Sigurd

My prediction is, once Sigurd is dead, he will pick up activity, to confuse the town.
