Maybe it's not necessary anymore, it seems as if my campaign is stuck, because of a CTD that happenes during the turn, when the Romans make their moves. EVERY campaign get's lost sooner or later, it's so annoying. I can only hope MTW II is more stable than RTW, so EB II will not crash as often!

Did you check if any Roman cities are about to rebel? That's usually the problem, since the AI leaves far away cities with no garrisons, and sometimes a revolt CTD follows
