Surely you mean 13 hours from now (or 12½ at the time of my post)?

You also got my vote wrong, not that it matters.

I'm quite positive that at least one of the mafias was in the Belisarius's bandwagon.

I very strongly agree with this. I discourage anyone from accepting a role claim as proof of innocence, even a role claim with powers. Judge people on their behavior, not their identity.

I'm still interested in the entire pm conversation between Sasaki and Belisarius II.

I don't understand why Sasaki left out certain parts. I also fail to see why Sasaki contacted Belisarius and posted a part of the pm conversation at a time where it didn't matter much, since Belisarius' fate was pretty much sealed.

If I remember the recent star wars movies...didn't his fall to the dark side seem like that anyway?

    Catching up:

On the Chatoix/atheotes/(psychonaut) scuffle, I'm on Chaotix' side thus far.

The second part is not true. Mafia have all the incentive in the world to stay away from what they know to be a bad bandwagon if they can think of a halfway decent reason for it. I'm gathering Belisarius was in fact a bad bandwagon, though I haven't read through all the posts or the update yet. (Starting at the beginning this time, go me.) The first part, about the saving Beskar bit, might apply better -- depends if Chaotix actually counted the votes or not -- but it doesn't rise to the level of 'contrived' for me.

    Anyway to sum up:
    Atheotes' vote on Chaotix: meh
Chaotix' FOS on Atheotes: justified, despite the OMGUS aspect

I mentioned it in relation to who the character Atris was (a Jedi Master in KOTOR2 who falls to the Dark Side after studying Sith holocrons), but there was no prior mention of it in terms of this game.

I don't understand this -- why would the Sith kill someone who's claimed Galen Marak of all people, who has been lynchbait in the past, and who, if innocent, has no abilities? (Or had, I assume -- still haven't gotten to the write-up.)

I had been meaning to mention: I'm convinced Sasaki is correct about mafia cover roles, and exactly for that reason: because so many players are showing up in the write-up in connection with the promotions. If that (or the "calling", even) could function as an investigation, it would break the game, recruitment or no recruitment.

This was regarding the WOG-saving "vote: abstain" --

that was a response to Sasaki's question... Sasaki had asked if AVSM voted only to save himself from WOG.

That is of course, until I am lynched the very next day without having killed anybody, because apparently conversions are public knowledge. Oh the anticlimax...
Actually Beskar backed off on that and said it wasn't a conversion attempt; he'd just assumed it was.

I also sense a scapegoating very shortly. Just about any conversion means I am auto-lynched just to be safe. So no matter what happens, I am totally screwed.
Heck, due to my previous comment, you stand to be scapegoated no matter what. I do fully support vengeance on Beskar for that, by the way; that was completely unnecessary.

You think the mafia stayed away from the "bad" bandwagon on Belisarius? I think not. We will see in the end.
When i called his post contrived, i meant his post with the vote not his response to my accusation. The reasoning he gave for voting Belisarius made me feel that way.

I'm extremely curious about this "troubling information" Sigurd says the expedition leader has from the previous night.

Happy to. Sasaki still seems scummy for baiting Pizza back on day one with questions only a half-step removed in effect from "have you stopped beating your wife". And though his report about the PMs to Belisarius had gotten around in private several hours prior to it coming up in public, I still want your questions and Niklas' answered. I have no idea why such information shouldn't have come forth in public much earlier than it did. It left Belisarius effectively no time to rebut what was in fact the meat of the accusation against him.

No, I think it's feasible that they did stay away, and Chaotix' FOS on you therefore reasonable.

I didn't read his post with the vote as contrived; I did read yours as off, though (why such a snap vote, based on a single post, that late in what had been an extremely busy day?), another reason I was on Chaotix' side as regards the FOS -- did you have any votes placed at any time earlier in the day, Atheotes?
