not exactly player faction in the center... but the most important cities (that everyone want to invade), is in the center... and regions that supposedly stimulate the faction (that posess it) to wage war against certain regions also considerated)

note: the player's faction could be everyone, the hate ring itself is a fixed things to manipulate rivalry relationships between owner of some important cities.

in EB, we could made the hate ring on eremos territory, well, that would look as some kinda crop circle though...
