Who did you send your request to? If you asked Tosa, then it could be that you didn't get an answer as he's been very busy in RL again, lately.

I'm not sure if I have acces, but you can pm me the stuff you need to be put on first page and I'll give it a shot or ask one of my colleagues.

Just in case you guys missed pevergreens' post:

For those interested in discussing politics, you might want to take a look in the BR. It's members only, so you have to apply to be granted acces.

Just go in your profile and click permission groups (or follow THIS LINK) and check the box next to "Backroom".

You might want to ~~bribe~~ send a friendly pm to one of the BR moderators (Ser Clegane, Banquo's Ghost, Seamus Fermanagh or CountArach) to speed up the proces.

If you want to try out a game of mafia, then you need to check the box next to "Gameroom". The local moderators there are Sigurd, Yaseikhaan and GeneralHankerchief.

And please note that the Backroom is run differently from the Mudpit.
