The Sims go Medieval

The press release makes it seem like a fantasy setting. Besides, who wants to simulate the drudgery, poor hygiene, and chastity belts of Medieval Europe? It's just Europe, right?

Well, the sims has always been a pretty pointless game series, if you ask me. Why would I play a game to simulate life? I play games to get away from that.

Although the sim city/sim town games were fairly fun for awhile, but those are pretty different games.

True. The first thing I thought about was how 90% of the players would pay a monthly subscription fee to simulate tending fields and how 1/3 of the female characters would die in childbirth.

I shouldn't laugh but I can imagine the look of dismay in someone's face when their crops fail.

Who knows, might be somewhat successful. Oregon trail was always pretty fun despite all the constant death.

'S long as people don't mind getting something like this every so often, they'll be fine.
