Well yes germans start off unified and gaul starts off unified and so does iberia but what about in EB where we have armenians building a massive empire and taking over sarmatia and germans with massive empire over a period of time even when their lands are really poor. At least in the latest version of RTR (PE 1.7 not official but close to) EVERY AI expands realisticly or very close to. Unlike in EB where small barbarian tribes start massing stacks after stacks and there is no way to stop it even if you take their sources of income. My point is EB is a hell of a lot less realistic 50 years down the track. Let alone the ptlemaic and carthaginian desert wars lets not even go there.... Macedonia gets a bit big but they were expanding in those directions during the RTR timeframe though. Let alone the fact that there is no way to get realistic farming as shown in RTR PE AE 2.1 or negitiable rivers.
