    To secure Money for Venice, Guido Batlle is sent to Bolgona to secure Trade Rights. He reaches there within a year and HRE accepts the offers of Trade. Above Venice there is a mountain Pass to the HRE, just after that pass is also Silver Mines, lots of money can be made there. So Tusco moves out to reach the money. He had to stop on his journey to to it, he had to stop in the deadly mountain pass... Within Ragusa there consturction on. A small Chapel is being made for all Priests of Venice.
    1082
    The Council of Nobles approach you during a meeting asking if you could take the Rebel controlled Durazzo. They say that if you take it they will supply you 2500 Florins, this small thing is not on your mind, "Who cares what the nobles think" THought the Doge, The small Chapel within Ragusa is built, but nothing is being made after it. Counciller Bartoleomo moves to take Zagreb, an old Hungarian Town, although it rebelled a few years back and the Croation Rebels own it now,Counciller Bartoleomoassaults the Town and the battle begins...
    BATTLE OF ZAGREB
    Counciller Bartoleomo orders his troops around into battle position, he puts on his armour and prepares.

    They move forward there Axeman, blocking Counciller Bartoleomo route into the city.
    The Veneatian Archers move forward to Fire on the Axemen. They load there bows, aim, and fire!

    The arrows fly in, killing off the unit, they look around for help. Calling there commander. With no where to go they are doomed. The stand bravely as more Arrows fly in, 5 killed every wave. Numbers going from 60 to 55, 55 to 40. Eventually there is around 25 left, can they survive long enough for reinforcments?

    The archers run out of ammo and charge in with the rest of the army. They kill of the last remaining two. They then charge into the village square, a massive fight happens. Hack and slash. Blood everywhere. Duels happeneing, but the best duel was the duel between the Leaders.
    The counciller has an advantage on horse with better weapons. And finnaly, the Rebel leader is killed.

    The battle of Zagreb was won, but Counciller Bartoleomo has other things to think of, like what to do with the city? He walked through the ruined streets, wondering on what to do. If he occupied, they would revolt, if he sacked it, a lot of money would come but some buildings would be destroyed. So he would sack it. The Doge needed money and the Merchant was nearly there, and the Milianese were getting angry at something, that night he sent off an spy, to spy (Duh!) on Milan.

    Tusco moves through the dangerous snowy mountain pass, encountering no one, he oves up the mountains, as his map shows him. He walks and walks. Then the map shows a little arrow, and then nothing. It said turn right, he turned right. Then it said to walk straight ahead. He did that. And fell straight off the snowy mountain. He tumbled down the whole thing before getting stuck in an tree. The tree gave way, he then kept falling and falling into trees. He finnaly fell back down to ground, peasents picked him up, he'd made it! He walked to the Silver , and realised...they needed mines, they needed the village, whcih was under the control of the HRE! He then trudged through more snow, heading back down the the NEarest Veneatian Town,Zagreb, and found, dye! An very good resource, it suppiled him 22 florins a year! Victor Culuz, was an spy who worked for Venice, he was heading towards the town of Milan, to spy (duH!), he was under secret orders of the Doge. Meanwhile Guide Batlle heads towards Florence as well. He reaches there within a year and starts negotiations with the Italain Rebels there.
    Florence,Diplomatic Talks-
    Rebels-"Did you expect us to be happy to see you?" the Rebel leader asked, Guido shook his head,
    "I will buy this whole Town off you, for your set price!" Guido Whispered. The Rebel Leader thought about it,
    "Ok, for 9000 florins though!' he demanded, Guido accepted, Florence was theirs!

    The Doge looked out from Venice's walls. They controlled Venice,Zagreb,Crete,Florence and half of Greece. Now he wanted Milan. Milan was one of there Italain Counter parts, recently an Milanese Army had landed near there Florence port, it was in danger. So they needed to kill off there leader, so they can forgot those plans, they needed a spy! And Victor Caluz was standing Idly with no mission! The Doge ordered Victor to move at once, he reached Milan, but how could he get in?
    -Milan,Spy attempt-
    He rode in, climbing off the horse, and then snuck up to the gates, excellent, only one guard. He looked around, but how could he get in? It was daytime so he could not just walk in! Or could he? But a disguise! Aha! An perfect bush to hide in was nearby, he would walk in, in a bush!

    He tippy toed in, the guard looked around, he stopped in the middle of the road. The guard was certian to spot him, capture him, find he was working for Venice... but the gurad did not notice a thing. He kept walking in looking at the guard

    The guard might look, he kept going, and.....! He had made it! Milan was an easy target, now to the local Tavern, he needed an assasin unless the Doge provided one.

    As the Doge was thinking someone arrived at Venice, an diplomat, owned by the papal states, he came in and saw the Doge-
    "We wish for Trade Rights between the Pope and Venice!" the diplomat asked, The Doge thought for a bit, then-
    "We accept" he replied,
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    With an Spy in Milan, it is discovered that is where the Faction Leader is resting, they should attack Milan, capture the Faction Leader, and destroy them! But they needed the faction Heir...
    Meanwhile in Western greece, an Priest is trained there, hopefully he will become Pope one day!
    Another year passes by, where did it go!? The people wonder. Now this new year brings new threats,. There first problem is the Pope. He has a small army which is moving into Milanese territory. But before that, the Doge's advisors come into his Throne Room and hand him the yearly report.
    All is doing well Finical, and they are not the strongest nation yet, but the Doge will make sure Venice is!!
    Now he concentrates back on the Pope. Venice has one Cardinal in the College, so if the Pope is killed, then Venice Cardinal has a chance. If he becomes pope, then Venice will have a small pass to attack Catholic nations... But meanwhile Counciller Bartoleomo whats battle again. The Doge is doing nothing! Counciller Bartoleomo thinks, messengers arrive for him sometime later,
    "Counciller Bartoleomo sir,a battle is assured by the Doge!" says the messenger, Counciller Bartoleomo sits up straighter,
    "Against who?"Counciller Bartoleomo asks, the messenger gives him a look saying 'you know who'
    "Wel!! Who!?" snaps Counciller Bartoleomo,
    "I can not say sir, the Doge says you should know..."
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The pope's army moving into Milanese territory was not a problem, but if they took over Milan, then Venice would have a very strong enemy, also very rich. So they would have to attack the Pope and risk being attacked by every single Catholic country.

    They should not worry of the pope, for now.
    Another year is leaving...

    Nice story! I like it.
    Just one thing though: you know that the pope never attacks anyone, right? That small army will just walk around thier land and than leave... Don't attack him, that's stupid.
