    Default Changing Campaign Turns = years

    I heard many times that people play on like a half a year instead of a full year, how can I change that?
    Work, Girlfriend, Responsibilities, Reality, Kids, and MTW - all things in life make life worth living.

    Work-Still hate it but I appreciate having it more now.
    Girlfriend - ? - looks like I am helping Nga now. Miss sex though.
    Responsibilities, Too many bills to too little money
    Reality - (Censored)
    Kids - My son is improving a little bit each day, still far behind but I may have more kids in the future.
    MTW - Kingdoms installed but...Urggg, too soon.

    descr_strat.txt change timescale to 1 or 0.5
    Want gunpowder, mongols, and timurids to appear when YOU do?
    Playing on a different timescale and never get to see the new world or just wanting to change your timescale?

    But bear in mind that this will throw events such as the discovery of gunpowder and the new world out of sync (ie gunpowder will still be discovered at xAD, not turn #x)

    Eh, not a big deal. I just don't want to feel rushed all the damn time and want to remain peaceful for as long as I can.

    Also in case you wanted to change this, comment out the line "show_dates_as_turns" in the same descr_strat.txt file. I haven't checked back on this but if memory serves this is also bugged if you change the timescale to 2 turns per year. The game was showing me as 1 season fast in the menu bar.
