Description
Even with Orléans saved from its English attackers, there were still problems for the French. The Loire Valley was still full of English troops, as the English had abandoned their old strategy of raiding and despoiling the countryside to one of occupation and siege. Without this valley being cleared of English soldiers, the victory at Orléans would be a hollow one. With the English gone, the French would have a new freedom of action. Jeanne led her troops into the attack...
