Talk:Horse Archers

Disclaimer: I don't want to edit the article itself, so it doesn't vanish from Special:Wantedpages.

Personally, I only know STW and MTW; but I suspect that the advice on how to use Horse Archers would be pretty much the same not only for those two, but for all games of the series – if that's true, a single article on the subject would do. I'm a bit lazy, the more so as frogbeastegg has already very much covered the subject in his (her?) unit guide. However, I can't see any hint of this article being under any free license, so I don't simply want to copy-paste it (that's also why I write all unit descriptions from scratch). Froggbeastegg apparently doesn't mind to have the stuff copied all over the web, so it might be alright to quote it here and lock the article; but editing mercilessly without the author's consent is out of the question.

Alternatively, one might try to get the author's consent, or do a full re-write (complete with screenshots please!). How shall we proceed? --Schnobs

Non-admin reply: It might be an idea to discuss in the forum thread here. Drone who's doing similar stuff has already raised that issue about incorporating (or not) parts of the guides. You're right not to just copy and paste things in, she was apparently concerned about the editing mercilessly possibility. Suggest you either post in that thread about it or pm drone / ask on his user discussion page so you two can co-ordinate. --Makanyane 23:54, 10 April 2008 (CDT)
