Also experimental, very different from the normal mafia so if you like new stuff.. My next small will be normal I swear

Welcome to the Kingdom of Beef. Recently after over 100 years of reign, god king; the founder of the kingdom Beefy past away. Kingdom moans his death... but we can't moan for ever. Kingdom of Beef needs a new king and that could be one of you....

In his will, God king wrote "People of Beef. I give you... my 12 sons. All of them are worthy of being a king. May prosperity of Beef lasts for ever. Hail the new king!"

While the God king was a good king, he was rather stupid not to name the new king... Not knowing that his innocent wish for equality will bring bloodshed in his royal family.

"Brothers. One of us will be a king. So how shall we choose?" said one of the prince.

Silence dominated the room. As 12 princes, all wanted to become The king.
Then the oracle broke the silence.

"Fate will chose our leader. With in the next month, there will only be one prince standing in front of me. He will be the king, but remember what the mighty oracle said upon the foundation of our kingdom. 'King shall be born from a noble birth. Kingdom of Beef shall not have a king, born from a whore.' And dear me.. it smells.. smells like there is two filthy buggers hiding amongst you. Good luck to you all worthy princes."

Oracle stood up and left the room. Leaving 12 princes looking at each other... hating each other.
One prince stood up and said
"Who should we exile?"


Welcome to inheritance mafia. The ultimate cut throat battle royale. Although as a townie (Normal prince) your aim is still to exile the mafia (the filthy princes), at the same time, you are trying to become the only one left standing. At the start only the mafia can kill but after round one, everyone will be capable of killing.... :yes: Here are the rule


Rule
-There will be two mafia. At the start of the game will have to work together to perform the kill. but after two successful killing they will be able to do that by them selves.
-Mafia will also get all ability that normal princes have access to.
-3 princes together will be able to kill a player. After two successful killing, those players will also get the ability to kill by them selves.
-Killers must chose one prince to be the person who will carry out the murder.
- 2 princes together will be able to witness a murder. In that case, who ever is performing the kill will be jailed and target will be saved. After an successful witnessing, those two player will gain ability to investigate a player if he is born from a filth or not.
- Jailed prince will not be able to participate in voting process nor any night action
- 2 players together can torture a jailed player. Those two player will gain information about who was working with the player who carried out the murder.
- Jailed player can be freed by a player if he is not being tortured that night.
- Person are able to send in anonymous letter to other players via host where you can write anything you want. You can also write a message to all princes in which case I will include the message in the day summery.
- However, some players may have brothers. Who can identify the hand writing so be aware..
- Dead may not talk about information other then the ones obtained from the actual thread.
- Pm quoting and stuff is allowed.. But then again, im going to post a townie pm on the thread so the mafia can mess the towns up :yes:

I am looking around 12 players. But regardless of the numbers, I will start this after 72 hours of sign up phase. If you have any suggestion about balancing or general question, please feel free to ask. Ill answer or apply them quickly as possible.

It has been decided. Lord Winter was the one to be exiled from the palace to the distant wilderness, surrounded by hostile neighbors.

“Nay!” shouted Lord Winter rushing in the room. He dared not show to exile his brothers. But he couldn’t let himself be expelled outside the safe palace. “I am Lord Winter. Servant of the last king Beefy, shield for the kingdom and a general of the 6th legion. For this country I am prepared to let myself tear apart brothers! But hear me! You are picking on the wrong man! I was directly awarded with the honorable title of Lord Winter by his Royal Highness Beefy for my outstanding valor in the independence war. You dare call me born from a whore? How dare you!”
Lord Winter stared at other princes one by one. Not one prince was able to maintain eye contact for more than a second.

1. you are able to assassinate other princes with 2 other prince. After two successful murders you will be able to kill every night by yourself. However if you get caught performing murders, you will be jailed where you won’t be able to perform any night actions or join the vote. When performing a group kill, three of you must decide who is going to be performing the kill.

Oh and if the pm didnt say it, from now on if you get 2 successful murders you will get the ability to kill every night by your self.

Considering you said oh so sarcastically that it was convenient to lynch you after investigating you, what is anyone to think you are accusing them to be? A rabbit? Obviously not.

As with any mafia game, there is no such thing as defending yourself with anything other than what all of us have: a role PM, and given that its all identical save for the bastards, that obviously doesn't prove anything.

Therefore, having carried out mutual action for 2 nights now that has nothing to do with killing should strike someone of reasonable mind that it could well be a sign of innocence when there have been killings on N1 (note mafia only kills odd nights). According to Beefy's intro description, the mafia cannot perform two actions at once unless they already successfully killed someone as part of a kill group.

Sorry for a long night... Soo much has been happening in the last few days and I was barely able to keep up with two other games im in.

Night three summery

"Greeting princes.. Heres my report of yesterdays incidents. It is very unfortunate to tell you that Prince Shlin, the men from noble house of Schling was murdered with poison. Also there was a Yoyo left behind on the scene..

On the first level, one of the laundry maid was murdered. As for now, we are not sure how these two incident are related.

Also yesterday, Prince White_Eyes claims that his room was trashed by intruders. Fortunately he wasnt in the room but his 10000 gold bed his ruined.

According to the oracle, she can still smell the presence of the filth. So please let us exile him fast as possible so we could end this chaos. Prince YLC, who used to be a member of this palace are gathering his army, willing to turn our kingdom into dust. We must quickly choose our king to crush his puny rebellion!!

This was a little experiment for my future games and there is obviously a slight disadvantage to the mafia as originally there were going to be two mafia instead of one. Also regarding pm quoting, Yoyoma sent me what the problem is.. I seems to have been contradicting my self. What I meant is role quoting is allowed as all the players pretty much gets the same thing, except the mafia gets extra bits and they get all the different setting of their character.

I'm not acting. I'm fully aware of the rules. And obviously far more than thou.


The rules stated specifically that anyone caught in the act of murder would be jailed (that was in both the early set, and in the final set). However, there was an adjustment in the final set, which stated that instead of the victim surviving, they would perish anyway.

Morning broke up the world, crisp and forward. Before the light of the sun could fully grow into the heavens, men and women were active around the castle. The prince of family Yoyoma, Masters of the art of the YoYo (Aka. Juggling, for those who would try to win favor by attempting such a feat:clown:), walked along the outer parapets of castle Beefy, till he came to the barbican. All along the walls the troops gathered stones and made ready for a possible storming and siege. Inside the castle the brave commoners and merchants of Beefdom made work to protect their possessions and stock up on provisions.

Inside the great palace, Yoyoma's fellow nobles made ready themselves, but for other purposes besides just the oncoming battle. There still was no king to lead the people. Though those who remained to lay claim to the prize were all decent, and would make find leaders or kings for any group of men, only one could wear Beefy's crown. The longer the process took, the more dangerous for the people. Already the dogs of war made swagger their hungry legs outside the gates, what horror their jowls would bring if they were let inside the walls.

Outside the great walls, two armies were gathering, small plumes of smoke still rising from their nights fires. Banners, rising upon great spears or from the center poles of military tents, rustled with undeserved pride. In the grayness of early light one could see that many bore the insignia of the armies of First Consul YLC, the symbolism selected by a committee, which had accepted ideas through petition, then had set out a vote to the public of the most tolerable top choices, the imagry then altered to a point that it was able to be ratified by a majority of one city, before being sent on to the next cities congress, which then further altered the design, returned the idea to public vote, which then was selected and regulated by the greater regulatory body, which then passed it on to the department of public affairs, which then censored out portions of the design, adding a few touches for inspiration, and then returned it to the other city, which then sent it back through congress, leading to a final public vote, in which the whole thing was scraped, and the process reopened to public petition of ideas, until finally, after a large part of the city states educational budget was spent on public polls and a PR campaign, the people were finally able to decide on a basic background color. The imagry had yet to be decided upon, so the banners held only fields of color, which had been grayed down, because a clear majority hadn't actually decided on one particular hue.


Upon the other stood brazenly the insignia of White Eyes, Assassin of Nobles, Serpent of Lies, and Prince of the Ragmen. Amongst the banners of war, also stood banners showing the letters PETA, and a red circle with crossbar over an image of a man juggling kittens.



Prince Yoyoma looked at these enemy camps with curiosity. YLC had not so long ago himself been a noble. But now he had turned to the morays of the bourgeois. White Eyes had falsely claimed nobility, had spilt the blood of men far greater of virtue and breeding than he, and had collected an army of angry peasants. It would be a shame if such a fine kingdom as that of Beefdom fell to the desires of these two. He saw the great orchards and cathedrals of Girafism being turned into big box marts and fast food plazas. A shiver filled his veins, and he hurried back along the parapets toward the palace.

Yoyoma entered the great gates of Palace Beefy, and headed straight for the deliberation room, where his fellow princes we trying to decide what next to do. The night had produced no new bodies, and everyone seemed somewhat relieved now that the murdering son of a whore had been cast from the castle. Good Prince El Diablo was even attempting to juggle a large amount of kittens.

But the reasonable amount of joviality would soon be over. Both YLC and White Eyes had returned, and would murder them all and vast swaths of the loyal populous if not stopped.



“My fellow princes, there is further death upon these lands. It is time we decide upon a king to govern us and the people. We could turn to more base methods, but we are men of noble birth and virtues. The good king Beefy, righteous in his reign deemed all of us worthy of the title, however only one of us may become the rightful king. What say you my brothers, that we choose one of us in a manner civil to rule this kingdom?

Let us elect a king from ourselves, and let those of us who would both agree and disagree with the choice agree upon death that we would not raise arms against this man to achieve our own ends. The kingdom of Beefy needs a goodly king, but does it not also need its nobles? Those who would raise their swords in defense of their king?
