Agree with all Quirl said. Had a longer post with more motviations and stuff, but my browser crashed. Pm, you're stories about the German lovers and their Levantine friend are awesome! I would like to nominate PM in the courtroom aswell, but I agree that Thanatos has done a might fine job there. And yeah, in lack of other options (since I don't know much about the world) I nominate the raging crusader to the player award aswell.

Note: If I could, I would have nominated Quirl to pretty much all categories aswell, since you and monkey are by far the best out-of-game contributors. :)

although i havent been part of this for a long time

the best contributions role playing wise surly came from Quirl, Phonics and Thanatos as far as i can tell. so i give one point to each of u. though my personal favourite is this one… wait… here it is… lol love it… focus is on the last part.

as for the whole match… i think the largest powers are Jerusalem, Khwarezm and Kypchaks. so all of u did a great job there obiously hence one point each.

From my experience there is no such thing as "total encirclement". I tried once to completely surround a fleet by ocuppying all tiles but the bastards being defeated still managed to flee. I don't think Omanis even could occupy all tiles and destroy your ships. It's probably a "Heroic victory".

However, a potential issue has come to my attention. Regarding assassins, I would like to propose a vote to all the players. Which would you guys prefer:
1) Assassins may not assassinate generals.
2) Assassins may not assassinate a faction's leader or heir.
3) Assassins may target anyone. No restrictions.

Your army had many units at less then half capacity and many horse archers that perform quite badly against elephants (in fact most units perform that way against my precious elephants ...)

those elephants are simply overpowered. u literally are trying to kill it with a spear though what u need is a big game rifle

javelin men did a pretty good job against my elephants in wrath of the khan though. they actually were the only ones really afflicting any real damage on them. that was a non automatic battle however. yet an army consisting mainly of javelin troops might do the trick in automatic battles too. though it might take two or three or maybe even four armies to wrestle down one rajput army. or maybe even more. dont know. maybe Phonics will let us know when the crusaders are fighting them

I apologize if I let you down, I seem to have forgotten that not only are you in the same boat as I, but that you probably worse off....

me personally am still disgusted at how easily and overpowered elephants are, but i digress. I'm sure everyone by know is aware of the circumstances.
Quirl has informed me that while he can do nothing regarding my complaint, that in the process of examining the turns he found a situation that potentially breached the official rules,
It's nothing major, nor is it my place to say what it is, but as a result the turns will be redone,

So there has been a comprise and agreement between me and Civic to redo the turn in an attempt to satisfy all parties,
and with a cooler head, I have agreed to stay.. Win or lose, despite the futility of my situation. If this is to be my last game (which it will be quite frankly) then I shall at-least see this to the end whatever may come of my situation.

Triforce, your atempt to seal the siege of Lahore was futile as I have conquered that last fort and defeated your horse archers. I see how cleaver you were to use this second chance to recruit "my" Pundjabi mercenaries and try to prevent me from rescuing Lahore (something you were not that "clever" the first time). But hey maybe I've reloaded 100 times so my spies open the gates. In fact I confess, I abused the game so I can obtain unrealistic results. So gamemaster should kick me from the game so nobody worries about Rajputs and complain in the future how "overpowered" elephants are and how "unfair" are my victories. I enjoyed this campaign untill now but in the present it mostly disgusts me.:shame:

Anyways, no harm done, My Seige on Lahore failed like last time, and your incredibly overpowered generals are still on the march, so very little has changed... Your still winning this war, you need not leave.

I had thought that the game gave a fixed determined pre-set conditions at the end of turn.
For example,
My spies were succesfully about to open the gates to 2 of your forts Civic in our last turn (The ones you had Generals in ironically), but were unable for the life of me able to open either of the forts that your set up right beneath Lahore... I tested it out as you described reloading the saves to see if any diffrence could be made,and I found none, always the same situation ~.~.

I would like to know how you do it Civic, I think if your able to do it, so shall us all, its only fair, because I got no clear advantage from replaying the turns in that situation...

Yeah. The percentage requirement for opening a gate is fixed every turn. But successful infiltration, assassinations, and merchant buy-outs are random, and not fixed at the beginning of every turn.

Very simple : I loaded the save, I infiltrated a spy and he immediately opened the gates, no need to reload. "My confession" was just sarcasm, if you can't open the gates the first time, you can't do it not the second, the third, the tenth, etc.

I can't stay silent as long you accuse me of something I haven't done : reloading time after time my turn to defeat you. The turn was redone because you can't accept a defeat. You can't accept that 27 elephants that have 6 hitpoints and 3 experience thus similar with a 162 regular heavy armored bodyguard unit plus 75 experienced mercenary spearmen could defeat your mob army of horse archers, and hillmen (many at half capacity) plus two unexperienced generals. The ratio was 1:8 just on paper, in fact the ratio was 1:3. Your accusation that I reloaded to defeat you is unfounded and unproven. In fact that rule is crap because it can't be enforced and I can suspect you as well of reloading; nobody can prove anything just to throw accusations to make lame excuses for a failure. I never complained that my elephants cost me a fortune and I can't have a proper army, now when I win with the help of them I get this kind of treatment and have artificial rules made especially for me. I know another faction that is overpowered, the Crusaders, maybe they should have also such limitations. What's next, that I can't use more then a general in a battle? Or that my general must have at least 10 units in his army? Or maybe gamemaster should play my turns to be sure I don't reload.

The irony is the only one who reloaded a turn to get a different result is you with the accept of gamemaster.

Nevermind, I like to much my faction to just leave now, but in the future if I'm to have more crap like this I will leave without regrets.

ah f it. so much for the sindhies... they ll go rogue next turn. took the f ing wrong decision. f it. by conquering the fort and cutting u off from the ships in order to make it impossible for u to relieve the capital i almost consequently forced u to besiege the small village where the remaining army and my only family member was stationed. that was quite risky. gotta admit that. though i was hoping for some dude to adopt so i wont have to mind the death of my leader in case the village gets conquered. now there was a dude to adopt but this stupid computer put this poor bastard straight into the besieged settlement. awesome. now that helped. well… i bet on the wrong horse… no risk no fun right… f it. just should have allow u to relieve the damn city but who should have known that they were putting the adopted dude straight into the besieged town. how stupid is that. whatever… just took the wrong decision. gotta admit that. my fault. guess doing the last turn at kinda 6:30 in the morning being all f up wasnt that great of an idea. doesnt really seem to encourage thinking per se. whatever… bye bye sindhies… u poor little bastards… man i need a puff

The trigger for me was finding out you had built catapults at Gaza. That meant that with your navy (now sadly no more) you could strike anywhere up and down my coast. I couldn't let that go I'm afraid. Plus for Rp-ing reasons and VCs at some stage I had to take back Jerusalem.
