Hundreds of years passed by....
Since that humiliating defeat of our people.

We have seen many deaths.
Brave warriors, killed by cold blade of our foes.
We have seen our king killed. Kingdom crumbling into thousands of tiny pieces.
We have seen the foreign leader, sitting on the kings chair as if it is hers.
We shall see it no more.

Years and years may have passed.
Many may not even remember.
But as long as the proud blood runs in our vein.
We know.
Beefdom is alive.
We know.
Beefdom will rise. It will rise once more.

-Old man, humming the song of revenge to the kids near by.


Welcome to the large game, Beefdom shall rise once more.
Except the limited people who took part in the Noble Sons I or II, you won't know what is happening in this parallel world of Beefdom.
So allow me to set the scene.

Previously on Beefdom
Noble sons I
There once was a big kingdom called Beefdom. Created by King Beefy.
Beefdom was the regional super power. Probably the closest to being the master of the world.
But then King Beefy died (Gasp!)
His sons fought each other to claim the title of King of Beefdom.
There was couple of interesting events like "White_eyes" but eventually Yoyoma became the supreme king of Beefdom.

Noble Sons II
Despite Yoyoma claiming the title of King, Beefdom and her army was not as strong as she used to be.
Other major powers like the Hungry Khaans (Khaanate Pizzaguy), Republic of Buranda (Captain Blackadder) and the principality of Decapodia (Quintus J Cicero... Where did you go?:embarassed:)
After some big and small conflicts, king of Beefdom seemed to have regained its power, by forcing consulate Lacy of Consulate of Yaks Cheese and Liquors to mary her. However, King Yoyoma was backstabbed by Consulate Lacy. Beefdom crumbles and the hagemony of Consulate, Hungry Khaans and its allies began. Ignore the silly Beefys ambition of world domination with Godzilas. It was prevented by brave heroes of the land.

Thats about it. Lots of other events is still unsaid. Those who wants to know the full detail, please find the gaming thread and read it your self. Despite it being a epic failure of a game, both the host and most players had heaps of fun out of that game.

Anyhow... This is how the world is like now.


So Beefdom collapsed, and the land was united under Consulate Lacy (YLC :yes:) and other notable members of the new alliance.
The island adopted a Roman Republic like government, where two consulate is elected with other influential members supporting the consulates.
Its peaceful alright. But the rebellion is on air in some regions. Those who inherit the noble blood of Beefdom, is plotting to take over the land. And it seems that he is a member of the council of nobles.

Here is what the setting is going to be.

Each players are going to be playing as the members of council of nobles.
-Feel free to name your character, and the region they represent when you sign up. (Eg, Lord Beefy of the Taraba Mountains)
-If you want to go for a extreme, you can even write a bit of history of your land and make a flag for your region.

-One of you are going to play the Master Mind. The man behind the rebellion efforts. This role works like a God Father role in God Father Mafia Series.
- Master mind may choose any two players they wish to work with. Who will serve you as traitors.
- Both traitors has one kill per night.
- If both traitors are dead, Master Mind can kill too.
- If Master Mind is lynched, Mafia team will lose instantly
- If the Master Mind is lynched within the first three turns, traitors will go back to townies, and the new God Father will be chosen.
This is so that we can have longer and more enjoyable game. I hope the original mafia will have a good run though.

- New features. Army strength system
- All player will start with the army strength of 1
- Army strength can be used for many purposes.
-To vote. Each army strength will grant the player 1 vote. If you had 5 then you get to vote 5 times.
-To war. Players may attack other players with their army. If the attackers have more numbers then the defenders,
the defenders will lose their army (Thus not having votes), and the leading attacker will gain the army strength defenders had.
- Players who is attacked without points will be killed. Just like vigilante killed.
-To join war. Players may combine their army strength by sending orders like Join: Yoyomas army to fight El Diablo + 1.
+1 representing how many army strength you wish to spend
Failure to organize the orders will result in your army not doing anything for the night.
- To defend others. Send in orders to Defend: Shlin + 1 Again, +1 representing the army strength you wish to spend
- To kill. For the mafias to kill, they need to have same or higher points then their target.
So if their target had higher points then mafias strength, they will be saved.
Master Mind, may lend out his points to one of his men without getting him self in risk
- If no orders are sent in, the army will automatically protect you. Wise move in the early game.
- Army strength of the lynched and killed player will be up on the vote.
This will be done in a NotW manner of items. I will explain those in the first day phase
- You may give army strengths to other players. Except the Consul and Dictator extra army strengths.
Just pm me with who you want to give it to and how many.


Complex enough? It gets even better :laugh4:
-Consulate election
-At the beginning of the game, election will be held.
-Two players with the highest vote will gain the title of Consul.
-Consul will get 4 extra army strengths, which will be taken away from them when they leave the office.
- However, if one player gets more then 3/4 of the votes, He will become dictator and will get 9 extra army strengths.
- When one of the consulate is killed, lynched or resigns, election will be held.
- To resign, the consulate must post something along the line of Resign: Beefy.

-And the basics
- There will be day and night phases, each being 24 hours long
- Townie role pm will be posted on public. But do not quote and share anything which could wreck the game. Especially pms from the host
- All write ups are done by the host. Unless the mafia or lynched players really really wants to write it.
- Again. 1 Mastermind (God Father) and 2 Traitors (Grunts). No other unique roles or victory conditions.
- If any changes are made in the rule, I will post it in the second post of this thread. So please check that regularly.

Rules update
Regarding dead players army strength
For example
Please Vote: Beefy for Imperators Army to go to your self, and Vote: Beefy for Spamdooms army to go to your self.

Also I received a question regarding consulates being attacked.
If Consulate for example has 6 army strengths and uses 3 to attack one player, uses 3 to protect him self.

And if someone else with others combines attack the consulate with 4 army strength.
Since 4 army strength of the consulate belongs to the whole community, as soon as he can't afford that 4, he will lose the office of the consulate.
The attacker will get the 3 army strength used for protection, and get to keep it.

If the defeated consulate will have to give back many army strength as possible back to the community, and the lacking army strength will be newly drafted.
If that makes sense.

Good question. I was considering to giving the dons extra protection, but since I'll be revealing all the faction strength if vig attack fails it will make them look suspicious. So I can't give them any extra.

All the war will be on the write up. So if I was to attack pever, it will say "Army of Beefy attacked the Army of Lord pevergreen"
If it was random attack, then you'd be expected to be questioned in public.

Ofcause, attacking without putting a protection on your self is risky.

And as long as you have some army on you protecting, the initial attack won't kill you.

im thinking about it... maybe an option of retreat? or of hiding? so you can chose to defend (and maybe killing attackers) or attack (and maybe kill defenders and a player) or hide (kill no one but not get killed either)

Night 0 summery

Old man, Yu chang is the host of the Noble Council.
Normally he is just an old man, lurking in the palace, but when there is no Consulate he becomes the boss.
He liked that bit of attention every now and then.

And he certainly liked the Espionage officer reporting to him instead of the Consulates. Even the news wasn't too pleasant..

"What? Rebellious movements in Beefdom? Any information on them?"
"All the spies who attempted to infiltrate them is either deceased or lucky to come back alive. When we were getting ready to infiltrate them in mass and real, they went underground. No sign of them since.. but we certainly don't like that. We might have a massive rebellion on our gates. However apparently few of the members in the council may have connection to the rebellion"
"Looks like we need to hurry with the election"

Yu Chang called a meeting and the lords and leaders from various regions gathered up in one place.
At the beginning he announced the possible rebellion and a possibility that few of them may be a traitor.
Then he finished with these words.

"Even though there may be traitors amongst us, election of Consulate is inevitable. Troubling time is when we need strong leadership the most. I trust you wise leaders to look with your clear eyes and minds. And differentiate those who we can trust and those we can't."

Day 1 summery

Yu Chang was listening to the discussion, with intensity.
Everything he heard was new and he could feel the new age right at the door step.

He have never heard of leaders who can talk about touchy matters of "balls" at such important meeting. And he was astonished by the leaders who can discuss it with straight face and seriousness. Then he shook his head and said no.. That was just him trying to interpret matters in a good way. He was assured by the quality discussion at the later stage.

At the end, two man with high reputations. Duke Nukem Von Subotan, and Khaan Pizzaguy of the Hungry Khanate. Each with a fearsome reputation in battlefield, council and in bed, was chosen as the Consulate of the alliance.

Summer of Spamdoom is hot..
Steamy air of 41 degrees, took a direct hit on Lord Strangers Palace.

Lord Strangers best man had no doubt that even if he called in the maids, he'll still be thinking about something 'hot... and steamy even' but nevertheless he called in the maids.

Imperator Maellrick of the Latinate Peoples had every rights to shout at the slow soldiers. These freshmen may not know who they are dealing with, but Maellrick and the Vets knew exactly who their enemy was. And how fearsome he is.

Dark black armor which looks like a skull. Long and heavy sword that hardly anyone could even lift. Fearsome and intimidating looks.
Chaos Knight has arrived in this land. Alone. His intention unknown. But most likely not friendly.

Latinate Peoples are skilled warriors. Men who got their reputation on the field of battle. But even those men who fought hundred of battles were shaking in fear as Chaos Knight slowly approached their battle formation. Heading straight for the Imperator.

Chaos Knight stopped at the distance of 100 meters away. Lifting up his sword pointing straight at the Imperator. Then mimed cutting the head off.

"He wishes the Imperator dead!! Blasphemy!! Prepare for battle men! Shoot him up! Thrust him! Thrust him million times!!"

Latinates commenced their war cries, while Chaos Knight dropped his Shield. He opened up his left palm and started to charge up some mystic green sparking fire ball. He slowly lined up his arm and prepared to fire...... And....

The Imperator Dropped dead on the ground... Silence took over the battle field....Then chaos.

Chaos Knight fleed the Battle Field slightly confused. But this achievement will add another glorious legend to his name... Surely some poorly informed few will claim that Chaos Knight was the man responsible for the murder of the Imperator. He was planning to kill him anyway.

As for Imperators man, they quickly examined the Imperators body and found out that the cause of death is a direct head shot of cross bow bolt. Bolt on the back of his head.

It seemed that Beefdom rebels has arrived on the scene and performed this miraculous shot. Then quickly left before anyone can deal them a harsh punishment.

On the other side of the world, crows covered the sky. Hoping to get a good piece of fresh human meat.
While they were not cannibals, Hungry Khaan too were hungry for blood. Sounds of agony and the voice of dying humans.

They march with dread. On the very front as if they want to be the first to kill and first to die in the battle field, while the Consulate army nervously follows.
When they met their foes, Khaan Pizzaguy went up to the front of the battle line and adressed his man.

Thunderous roars from the Khanate force. Small cheer from the Consulate army.

So they marched... Or rather galloped on the horses and the Consulates marched.

On the other side of the battlefield, there was the pever brigade. Utterly confused.

When Sergeant pevergreen came out to the front, peverbrown, peverpurple, peverblue and various other supporting staff came out too, and formed a human Pyramid so pevergreen can climb to the top and adress his man.

When he finished the speech, Steppe riders was already within their arrow range. But pever brigade was quick to get them self organized.

Battle was hanging on balance. Both Khanate soldiers and pever brigade was equal on valour. But just as the pever brigade was starting to take the upper hand, slightly less motivate consulate soldiers arrived with the God Chief Khan Pizzaguy. Khanate used their numbers well and surrounded the pever brigade, forcing their surrender.

pever brigade had a option to fight till the last men, but decided that this battle was not worth shedding too much blood. So he chose to live on and appeal his innocence in the Council.

Hungry Khanate now has a Army strength of 6. pever brigade loses their army strength along with the ability to vote

For the mafia to kill they don't have to spend their army strength. They just need to have it higher then its target.

Also especially for your consulates, you may use multiple abilities. Like "Two to guard your self, Two to attack, two to protect"

I'd be more concerned about Imperator Maellrick and Lord Stranger's mistreatment. Interesting how you focus on what is obviously the righteous judgment of your elected Consul, not your fellow leaders being murdered.

But that is not to say there isn't room for improvement. Last night's attempted defenses obviously didn't work, and the failure was mine and mine alone. As such, I am willing to step down as Consul today should the majority of you wish it. However I believe I have devised a better plan, one that is more likely to succeed, for tonight's maneuvers.

In the meantime, this is still a mafia game, and I believe that I cannot trust in the judgment of one known as Lord Sausage, of the much vaunted Hotdog Kingdom.

Make no mistake, Sheikh Al-A, i have great respect for the opinions of the Khan and Von Subo. I simply do not like a situation where we have two individuals who each have six times as many armies as the rest of us, no matter who they are. 6 armies are too many for me to trust to any one ruler. Another option would be for them to give command of the armies they seized last night to others whom they consider trustworthy, such as yourself. A situation at the end of the day where they each command 5 armies, their own and the consular, and 4 other individuals each command two seems reasonable to me.

I agree with such a plan - if Von Subo, and Pizza khaan are indeed not the rebellious leaders, then dispersing the armies amongst us will only hamper the the rebellions progress (OOC: Look at the rules, it will work). If they want to kill anyone, they will need a greater army strength then 1, meaning they will have to attack, and reveal themselves!

If we make the consularship rotational, and have the consoles strictly defend others instead of attacking, then we can eventually, despite losses, bring a proper stalemate inwhich they will either reveal themselves, or be forever stripped of power.

I can only speak for the Khanate.
Half of the armies that are under my control will be used for defense of other realms from now on. The other half will be used for searching for the enemy.

When others have had enough of my leadership, the main armies of the Consulate will be returned to the people.

Last night, you may have noticed that many, numerous realms were defended by friends of the Consulate. I have figured out the flaw in this system, and that is: too many leaders were involved in the defense; in fact it is forced that the traitors of beefdom were among them and would obviously avoid at least two of the defenses. That was the best I could do under those circumstances. With slightly more power under my control, I should be able to personally defend one or two realms from destruction. Because of this, there will be a higher chance of success.

I do not shy away from aggressive methods either. Unfortunately master Warman simply does not know how to behave himself or contribute positively when I am around (in any realm...) and it was a forced move. At least now those armies will be put to good use. As for pevergreen, it seemed as good a place to start as any. And of course, the Consul Subotan now wields more might with which to administer justice.

These are the sorts of moves which will raise eyebrows and cause grumbling. I understand this, but if we are to determine who are the traitors among us, this active path is the one I have decided makes the most sense. Cooperation with the Consuls on this is optional as always.

Also I received a question regarding consulates being attacked.
If Consulate for example has 6 army strengths and uses 3 to attack one player, uses 3 to protect him self.

And if someone else with others combines attack the consulate with 4 army strength.
Since 4 army strength of the consulate belongs to the whole community, as soon as he can't afford that 4, he will lose the office of the consulate.
The attacker will get the 3 army strength used for protection, and get to keep it.

If the defeated consulate will have to give back many army strength as possible back to the community, and the lacking army strength will be newly drafted.
If that makes sense.

As for the army divides, I'm at odds with the whole thing now that the power of the Consuls is uneven. Subo, you need to take the reigns a bit more; it's Pizza that's doing all of the thinking.

While Autolycus got popular target for votes, Council quickly decided to not lynch everyone tonight.
However what divided the council was whether or not to give the consulate more power or to spread the power.

On one side, there was the consulates. Who were also accused of unexplained action against Sergeant pevergreen of the pever brigade and King Warman of the Swiss Mongols, wanting more men power to continue their quest of rebel hunting.

And on the other side, there was Legate Casimir and Stefan Vi Brittania. Who claimed that power concentrated to a few leads to tyranny, and that is not what this community wishes.

After a heated discussion, Hungry Khanate and Legate Casimir recieved a extra army each.
Council members headed off to their respectable lands, leaving slight grudge...

Its still night 2! Send in orders unless your happy with army protecting your self!

Together, Duke Von Subotan and Khaan Pizza can currently rival the power held by the members collectively together, especially as our numbers decrease and the foolish ones, sacrificing our liberty to tyranny.

As for Double A, Khaan Pizza now has the power of 7 Council members. His original forces, 4 due to being Consul, 1 ill-gained, 1 given. You need 8 consul members alone to over-rule his consulship and that is if he doesn't have any supporters. We are in danger of slipping into tyranny.

While I am sure the consul only has good intentions, I however, do not advocate tyranny in any form. Those who advocate tyranny are servants of the Beefdom, and thus should be dealt with.

Removing own votes will not create a better situation as the likely candidates would vote for unlikely candidates and we would see puzzling tallies instead of clear ones. However, the term idea for Consuls has some merit and should be investigated more.

While I agree with you on the problem, Stefan, I am perplexed by your solution. Removing own votes will not create a better situation as the likely candidates would vote for unlikely candidates and we would see puzzling tallies instead of clear ones.

It is to remove self-interest, the stranglehold of a tyrants grip. By voting for other people, you are putting the councils interests first and not yourself. By instilling this in law, it means they have to convince others to vote for them. So those with greater armies cannot simply vote themselves into power, but require the will of the council to do it.

For example, Legate Casimir has the power of two. Therefore, he can simply vote for himself, and he has two votes already. On the otherhand, out of principle, I voted for Lord Dimitri or Maharani Meera, and they voted for me. I would only be tied with Legate Casimir, even though the will of this hypothetical council of 4, is that I should be the consul.

Night 2 summery

2 of the most wealthiest army met each other in Pinmans huge farmland.

"Lord Pinman of the great farmland and pasture. Your meat is what keeps us alive noble one.My Lord Cosme Etxeberria de Gasteiz y Bilbao greets you!"

Pinman greated the thankful support from his fellow merchant.

"With out your Lord, there won't be this empire. After all, it was your lord who helped Clay make those machines, which led the army of the Consulate to victory."

Soldiers entered the baracks together, and spent jolly good time.

Both consulate had a busy season away from the Council. Consul Khan Pizzaguy sent armies to protect his friends.

Judge Spl1t once again retrived an honour of foreign army protecting his life.

Maharani Meera was expecting more men to keep her accompany. She was expecting at least one noble Lord.. But all she got was protection from Consulte Pizzaguy which was not led by Pizzaguy him self.

Lord Sausage was surprised to recieve protection from his long time arch enemy, The Hungry Khanate. But nonetheless, he accepted the protection with much rejoice.

Lord Sausage offered Hot Dogs to the newly formed friends and in return they offered some Pizza and protection.

Hungry Khanates men was also in Buranda.Where Lord Blackadder and his men sits tight in protective formation. Lord Blackadder was pleased by the reinforcements and developed them where he likes.

Sergeant pevergreen was one of the few who weren't as pleased to recieve a protection. He had no problem with man of Eastern North Puce, but when he heard that Hungry Khanate was also willing to offer reinforcement, he wasn't pleased at all.

After few letters insisting Khan Pizzaguy to send those men who used to serve under pevergreen for protection, Khan accepted. And at least pevergreen felt safe around those man he knew since childhood protecting his life.

With three army protecting his life, Sheikh Al A THIS felt very safe.

Stefan Vi Brittania was one of the main figures in the previous council. Where he spoke so hard against the consulate who wanted more power, and with Legate Casimir proposed alternative plan for better alliance.

While his request to gain more army failed, at least he managed to get Legate Casimir get Lord Strangers army. Prevent Consulate Subotan to get more power.

He was sitting on his couch when he heard an unexpected news.

"Dear me Lord! Army approaches are gate!!"

Stefan woke up as if his man threw him a bucket full of water.

"Friend or foe?" asked Stefan.

"I don't care my lord! I don't care if they shoot me, or burn me! As long as they step on me after words and play around with my corpse!!"

"Its the army of the Goddess. Maharani Meera of Suiriene! Oh lord! What shall we do?"

Stefan ordered a battle formation (Which his man obeyed with extremely low enthusiasm) and opened the gate.

"I am Stefan Vi Brittania of the Order of Albion. What brings you here?"

Representitive of the Suiriene stteped foward and answered.

"My lord! Suiriene expresses its gratitude for protecting our Maharani in the previous season. Maharani ordered us to protect Stefan Vi Brittania and his man with our lives."

Red faced Stefan and his man coughed and wiggled nervously. Then Stefan gave a solute.

"I thank you ladies of Suiriene.But I assure you, our army and I is quite capable of protecting our selves."

"Do not underestimate us as females. In the field of battle, we are no female. We become deadly and skillful warrior."

Stefan Vi Brittania accepted the protection and orderd them to protect him.

Stefan, his captain and Suiriene captain was drinking a cup of tea in very awkwerd atmosphere.

"So how is our Queen?" asked Stefan.

"Maharani you mean?" Smiled the Suiriene captain, completely smashing both Stefan and Albion captains comfort. "She is well. She told me to pass on her message of appreciation for what you did last season and in the Council. She also said Albion and Suiriene should be closer. Much closer."

At this point, the Suiriene Captain was clearly meaning something different.But suddenly the look on her face changed and she tackled Stefan to the ground. Albion Captain drew his sword and pointed at the Suiriene Captain, but she pointed at a arrow which impaled where Stefan was sitting.
Albion Captain found the attacker and charged at him.

Attacker clicked his tongue and desperately threw couple of daggers.Hoping to hit either the Captain or Stefan. But it failed.

Attacker jumped out of the window and on his horse which were waiting right outside.

Suiriene Captain, came out with her bow and arrow. First shot missed. But she carefully aimed and took a second shot at the departing attacker.

It got him on the head, killing him on instant.

"You could've got him somewhere else. We can't interrogate a dead man..."

"No need." replied the Suiriene Captain. "Look at the Flag his wearing."

Legate Casimir and his army was facing a huge threat... The Chaos Knight.
No one could read what the Knight is thinking.
But they could certainly smell death which was about to come towards their way.

Chaos Knight started to charge up his mystical green power blast, while Legate Casimir ordered his man to forward.

"If my memory serves me correctly, Chaos Knight is extremely conscious about how he looks. If we can disgrace his looks, he should flee embarrassed."
So Casimir ordered his man to throw Melted Cheese on the Chaos Knight.

First Blast missed Casimir. At that point more then hundred man surrounded the Chaos Knight. All in position to throw.
They all threw cheese at the Knight, covering his black armor with melted cheese.

For few seconds, Knight didn't seem to react to any of that. He simply stood on the spot as if he didn't care.
But then he rushed off (Knocking couple of soldiers in process), while soldiers of Yonder Commonwealth cheered.

"Thank God that worked.."

Chaotix attack on YLC failed (YLC had more Army Strength)

Upon returning from the battle field, Chaos Knight was encountered by Consulate Subotans man who came here to protect the dreaded Knight. However, Knight rushed inside the closest hut as if he doesn't want to be seen.

Subotans man looked at each other and shuddered. They stayed out side of the hut to protect the Knight.

Funny enough, Consulate ATPG didn't have his own man protecting him, but 2 of Subotans man instead.
This showed good relationship of trust between the two consulate.

Man of Eastern North Puce was shocked to hear the death of their noble Lord Fernand Arsenic.

Fernand Arsenic was attacked by who seems to be Beefdom assassins. Heroicly fighting them off by him self, but eventually receiving a deathly blow in 27 places of his body.

Man of Eastern North Puce cried in grief, and swore revenge to Beefdom under a different ruler.

Armies of the Khaan protecting me, how shocking! The report from last night is very much flawed, as I've never given an order to feed the miscreants. I want to know who is behind this mischief!

Lord Sausage is most pleased to see that the Consuls are now using their armies to protect the weak instead of stealing from them. This is indeed a big improvement. I would however appreciate if the Hungry Khanate would refrain from sending their smelly ruffians in my castle at night.

It went well last night, so I think we shouldn't give more power to anyone else but those who already have more. As it is dangerous to grant too much power to our Consuls, I will grant my vote to Legate Casimir to get a 3rd army.

I am also very pleased to hear that my friend Stefan vi Britannia survived an infamous attack from the Beefdom. Heard some funny rumor that he was protected by the Suirienes but I dismissed it quickly. Surely Stefan does not need a woman's help to fight the villains.

I sent direct orders to Beefy to ask him to protect Autolycus and even forwarded those orders to Pizza. I have no idea why these orders were not carried out.

I agree with the rational of this post, that the Lord Stefani should be given more armies, while I expect that he should not use it merely to protect himself all the time, rather, to cooperate with the Consul's.

I am also pleased that the Consul's are showing mutual cooperation, and genuinely have the interests of those who elected them at heart, the Hungry Khaan even relinquishing all his armies temporarily for the protection of others.
