Who are you?

Why are you here?

What am I?

EVENING UPDATE 3

The merchant, Tiberius of the Drake, was sitting quietly in a corner by himself when all the attention in the room was suddenly focused on him.

"What...what's going on?" he managed to stammer.

"You..." the healer said, pointing at him. "You did it, didn't you?"

"Did what?" the merchant said, standing up. He grasped his cane like a protective charm.

"The murders, doy." the town idiot said. "Even I know that."

The merchant's eyes went wide. "I did not! I won't stand for these insults..."

"Well, answer me this question," autolycus said. "Why did you even come here?"

"What?"

"Are you serious?" the retired captain laughed. "Why would a merchant of all people come to visit this island in a private skiff? It makes no sense."

"I...I..." the merchant failed to answer. The villagers all murmured in excitement and began to point on accusing finger on the merchant. Could it be that the merchant was the murderer?

"NO!" the merchant screamed. The cane in his hand suddenly turned into a sword and he swung it viciously. "Back! Back! I don't want to ki-" The merchant's eyes went wide as he felt the black blade of the Mayor's Sword pierce his heart .

Romanic, the blacksmith quickly pulled the blade out of the merchant's body. The sword seemed to quiver with excitement as if it was happy at being used.

"Well, that's it then," the captain scowled. "Was he the culprit?"

"I don't think so," the watchman said. "Looking at his body, he's not a werewolf, and there's no proof as to whether or not he was the other murderer. Sadly, I believe that we have to conclude that...

The Merchant, Tiberius of the Drake, was INNOCENT

Every villager stood shocked. Did they just kill an innocent? The villagers could not escape from the inn fast enough. The mayor's daughter clutched her father's diary tightly in her arms as she journeyed home alone.

In a footnote, the editor comments that at this point, Donnelly was going insane as
syphilis tore through his system like a drunk driver. He is not to be trusted – many of
his claims are unsubstantiated and although he does paint a colourful picture, much
of what he says may have been derived directly from his fever. But I have been here
and I know, as Donnelly did, that this place is always half-imagined. Even the rocks
and caves will shimmer and blur, with the right eyes.

Morning Update 4

"LET ME GO, YOU STUPID APE!" The village elder, Csargo, tried desperately to escape from his bindings.

"I think not," the figure said as he stabbed the elder in the stomach. The elder's eyes went wide open. "Weren't you going to interrogate me first?"

"Nah, this sounds much more fun," the figure slashed the elder's throat...

Kaboooooooooom!

"Now what be that noise?"
"What the hell happened here last night?" the Watchman asked.

"Beats me," the shipwright answered.

A rather large area of ground lay pulverized as if a giant had trodden through it. The trees around the area lay uprooted...

and there was no body on sight. Or perhaps there very nearly was. The orphan limped into the town's gathering, hand wrapped tightly around the wounded shoulder.

The healer, for once, did not run at the sight of the bloodied orphan.
....................................................................................

The Child was playing near the beach. It was still raining, of course. The blasted storm cloud never seemed to go away. Thusly the beach had a very dreary feeling to it. The fact that there was the body of the dead Village Elder didn't help to the feeling at all.
THE VILLAGE ELDER WAS INNOCENT

What did help to the feeling was a little puppet that washed ashore. The adults of the village shuddered when they saw the puppet. It seemed...rather intelligent looking...

Other subject in discussion was the disposal of the magnificent merchant's cane sword. Who would claim that?

Morning 4 Begins. Night comes in approximately 47 hours. Votes for the puppet in RED. Votes for the Cane Sword in BLUE. Accusations in BOLD. Supports in GREEN.

It strikes me that the Flutist, wideyedwanderer, has been keeping a suspiciously low profile, speaking rarely, and saying the bare minimum when he does.

The scholar surveys the scene where the orphan had been found. He examines the area for a bit, and then an idea strikes him (just like they always do).

Where is that town idiot, oh there you are Choxorn. Were you playing with any shiny objects last night, or even anything that made a big boom? Come on child don't be afraid to speak up and tell us. We can hardly blame you if someone of your intelligence didn't think of the consequences. We just want you to admit it.

The whole time the scholar spoke to the idiot he used exaggerated hand motions to make the meaning much clearer.

The flutist Wideyedwander strikes me as too quiet for a pererrreformer. I think Nictel might be a good choice for the cane sword. He's almost a man grown, and is old enough to have his first sword. He is a credit to his father.

No family, no money to pay for doctors, the least they should do is let the child ACIN have a :daisy: toy." *She became saddened as she stared into his eyes from the distance, for they reminded her of her own child. Her somber demeanor quickly changed however, as her thoughts swiftly focused upon vengeance.* "A child... why didn't anyone stop this? Where's that :daisy: watchman, Civplayah? Why hasn't he stopped any of this. What :daisy: good is a watchman that watches not a :daisy: thing! My...our children are no longer safe either?" *sigh* "By the gods..." *She declared as she quickly turned to her bottle.*

Bad boy ACIN was acting rweally suspiciously the other day, so I decided to attack him with my rusty knife!

If he was truly the orphan who he claimed to be, I would wallow in my regret as my blade found his heart, BUT HE IS OBVIOUSLY NOT A SIMPLE ORPHAN, he would not have survived even my weak attack otherwise!!

I didn't even get to strike him, but he turned out injured! Freaky...

My means of vigilantism removed, it rose and began to appear in front of my very eyes...

*the girls haunted eyes bespeak of the horrors she has seen*

Its scythe... reaching forth to snatch my very soul from my body.

MIDDAY Update 4

Accusation by the mayor's daughter seemed to focus the town's attention on the orphan, who stood silently as the herbalist tended to his wounds. An angel of death in the town! Nobody was even sure if such beings existed. They say that the Mercurians employed them as assassins in their quest to rid the world of demons and evil. But what would it be doing near the orphan? Was the tale even true? Did the mayor's daughter go bonkers just like her father during April heat? And what the hell was that noise the night before? What could have pulled those trees out?

More questions arose as the days passed, and nobody was sure what was the answer anymore. Perhaps the puppet may know, but if it did it was obviously content to sit by itself and mock the living with its cold glassy eyes.

Injuries – Some things might cause some players to be injured. While injured a person normally can’t accuse someone nor perform night actions. Injuries will be cured in 36 game hours (if injured during night on day 5, you would be cured by midday of Day 7). If there are any other mechanics to remove injury, it will remain a secret.

Update Evening 4

https://media.photobucket.com/image/Angel%20of%20DEATH/unholytrinity33/pictures/Angel_of_Death.jpg

“Really,” Romanic the blacksmith said as he gripped the hilt of the Mayor’s sword. “Alright, let’s go do this…”

“Right behind you,” the captain said, picking up his scimitar.

“I am here too,” the watchman said.

“I wonder if we are doing the right thing,” the priest said. “ANGELS of Death are quite benevolent entities, especially so if they manifested themselves into this world. Those who do so are the ones who were dispatched specially to fight evil in this world.”

Silence…

“Oh :daisy: it. Let’s go kill it anyways,”

This will be fun.
……………………………………………………………………………
They found the orphan off to the corner of the inn, crouching and clutching his knees.

“Well,” Romanic said. “Do you have any objections as to the charges presented against you?”

“…” the orphan remained silent.

“Well?” Romanic asked once more. “Do you?”

“……Yes…” the orphan gave a vicious grin. The Angel of Death immediately appeared and beheaded Romanic.

Surprise, wasn’t it?

“That was it!” the mayor’s daughter shrieked. “That was the thing that stopped me from playing further with the orphan with my knife! That’s th-“

The angel of death also beheaded the mayor’s daughter quicker than one could say “Angel of death,” the other villagers began to scream. The orphan began to laugh.

“Yes, that’s it Samael! Kill them! Kill them all!” the angel of death let out a sadistic laugh.

All of the villagers rushed toward the door. No use, it was locked by a magical force. They were trapped in the inn with the ANGEL OF DEATH. “You’re doomed!” the orphan shouted.

Game over.

Nah, I am just kidding. Write up coming right up as soon as I am done with something else. Orphan was lynched, he was Innocent, he also had a friendly Angel of Death companion. Night orders may commence now, and you all still fail.,

A "friendly angel of death companion"..... :idea2:

This would make for excellent new children's programming on TV, or even in comic book form. Call it "Robbie and the Reaper"

The Grim Reaper is my best friend
through thick and thin,
we've always been together.
We're two of a kind, havin' fun all day,
pallin' around and killin' away.
Just best friends....best friends are weeee!
I love you guys.

Now just imagine what happens when Robbie goes to school and gets picked on for not having parents. All of a sudden, the Angel of Death appears, and DECAPITATES the bullies. Pure awesome. Then they go out for ice cream, and they laugh as it just falls right through Death's bony jaw, because he's a rotting corpse and he doesn't have much tissue there anymore. Now that's what I call wholesome family-friendly fun.

REAL UPDATE EVENING 4
All caps means it's serious biz.

"So," Romanic said. "Anything to say for these accusations placed against you?"

The orphan shook his head. The villagers mumbled with each other. Was he really connected with the angel of death?

Romanic nodded and pierced the orphan's heart with the sword. Almost immediately a bone chilling cry of sadness and anguish was heard by all those present, and a black robed figure holding a scythe appeared before the villagers. Romanic immediately withdrew to the safety of the other villagers. There was no telling what raw power this angel possessed...

The angel did not attack, and instead, cradled the body of the orphan into his arms. He glared for one last time at the face of the Mayor's daughter who shrieked in terror and hid beneath a table before disappearing altogether.

"...what have we done?" somebody said. Nobody answered. All stared in silence at the bloodstain on the floor, the only physical reminder that the orphan was killed.

THE ORPHAN WAS INNOCENT!

"Hey, what's this!" another villager asked, breaking the spell. There was a note written in a neat handwriting sprawled on the desk. It read...

The disciples of the Whisper of the Wave, they seek to kill and destroy. I am of the belief that they seek the idol. It is important to them. The priest has a slight chance to be a disciple, and not because of the idol. But the clerk, that is almost certainly one. Secura should be killed. Until next time, *coughs* lel esh taop repeths

Note: Renata ahs been replaced by Beskar.

Climbing down to the caves I slipped and fell and have injured my leg. I think the
femur is broken. It is clearly infected: the skin has turned a bright, tight pink and the
pain is crashing in on waves, winter tides against my shoreline, drowning out the
ache of my stones. I struggled back to the bothy to rest, but it has become clear that
there is only one way this is likely to end.

Update Morning 5

The Herbalist, Diana, was running for her life from that thing. Her pained breathing resonated throughout the forest.

The werewolf sprang out from the forest directly in front of her, cutting off her escape route. The herbalist screamed.

"So sad...so sad..." the werewolf growled. "So close to the town...so close to safety..." the werewolf made an expression that could only barely be described as a grin. "Yet so far..." It pounced.

.................................................................................................... .....................................................................

The traveler, Winston, suddenly grimaced in pain as he was held aloft by an unseen force. The figure that was before him laughed. "So it does work on you! For a minute I was afraid."

The figure continued to chuckle. "Well, time to go, Mr. Hughes. I promise to end it quickly." He snapped his fingers.

.................................................................................................... ....................................................................

"...is that all you will say?"

"Yes! That is all," Link the Wheat farmer said.

The figure sighed. "I am afraid, Mr.Link, that your answers do not satisfy me at all. I hope you do not take this personally..." the figure took out a sword.

Link's eyes widened. "No! Wait..."

Three people went missing that night. The herbalist was the first to be found, she was discovered in the forest path ravaged beyond recognition. For once, the herbalist did not flee from the scene of the murder.

The traveler was the second to be found. He was discovered inside his own room in the inn with a snapped neck. The cause of it remained unknown...

Link the Wheat farmer was third to be found. He body was found at the beach. At the end, there was nobody to curve white lines into the cliff paths them.

The Herbalist, the Wheat Farmer, and the Traveler was Innocent!

The watchman grimly laid out the possessions of the three people: the staff of the traveler, the longbow of the wheat farmer, and the medical supplies of the Herbalist. They would be put to vote today.

I completely missed this little note when I first read the update, but it bears looking at; either I have picked up an enemy somewhere along the line (which I feel is doubtful, as I haven't fully invested myself in this game so far) or I'm seen as a potential threat later on. I would hazard a guess that we're dealing with an intelligent and creative player who perhaps likes to take a risk; the net might be closing in on them and they're taking such a gamble to divert attention.

Either way, I urge you to pay no heed to it as you'll be wasting a lynch; if the mafia wants to get rid of me, they can kill me themselves, don't indulge them. I'm going to read back over the thread, get an inkling of what's going on and post something more tomorrow.

Iirc, every time I've seen an ability like this (anonymous message in the writeup) it turned out to be a townie ability, and so far it is the best lead we have. Also, I don't see how you can think the net is closing on them under the current circumstances. We've seen 11 deaths, all innocents.

First of all the sword voted to me was STOLEN last night.
Secondly, Diamondeye, first you vote the sword to me than you want to lynch me? This is all very strange behavior.

You vote an item to a absent person, than you steal it and try to lynch them. All in the hope that the person doesn't respond and as such the item can go to someone and no one will ever know where it went.

What evidence is there to suggest this?

You secura are jsut trying to worm your way out of this clear message of guilt.

There's nothing to worm out of to begin with; the note is utter bovine excrement and you're falling for it, simple as that.

On a side note, I feel that I have to ask... what do I have to do to make it to the end of a large mafia game?

If I'm vocal or show signs of finding mafia, then I'm night-killed immediately... and if I try the 'barely' playing route that seems to work so effectively for the likes of Joooray, then I'm set up in an attempt to have me lynched instead!

I just can't survive no matter what approach I take, and it takes away the fun in signing up for the bigger games.

Midday Update 5

The villagers and the travelers milled on about their days as if the grim threat hanging over them did not exist...

Speaking of which....

"Hey, what the :daisy: is that?!" one of the villagers shouted, pointing at the sky.

The scholar tried to race out of the inn and stopped right at the doorway, unable to believe his eyes. The other villagers crowded behind him.

"What the :daisy: IS that?" the scholar mumbled. "I am looking at it, but I am not quite su-"

"It's a big jellyfish!" the child shouted.

The other villagers wiped their eyes. It was, in fact, a big flying jellyfish.

"What's it doing there?" somebody asked.

"Beats me..."

"..." the jellyfish responded. A spark of electricity jolted between its tentacles.

"Uhh...yeah, let's get inside," someone said.

"Yeah, let's," the others mumbled as they scrambled back inside. By the way, why did the outside world look more blurry then usual?

Yet another note was discovered by the villagers! It read:

I'm not sure if I'm going to spend too much time on this one so if that means anything to anyone, or if anyone else wants to give it a try, there you go. Also some other letters may have been added as well.

OOC: Using substitution, I converted the code into the text "CUBH LVFU IQHKI JUNEAP JRRAN". It has a good amount of vowels to be an anagramme, but an annoying "Q"... I'll go to bed and look at it another time.

Are you the one who killed the traveler last night through your mind, through your powers of psionics?!

You know, based on what information we have, that does seem to be a fairly possible explanation. However, if this were true... why don't I have mind powers! I think it's safe to say those with the best minds should get the best powers! hrmph. Could it also be possible that these mind powers are making us all hallucinate as well?

And (Unvote, Vote:) Secura, this note taker seems pretty intent on getting you to say more about yourself at the very least and your only response has to been repeatedly call it garbage. How about you actually tell us a little more to defend yourself? After all, a scholar’s motto is “Scholarly debate is what makes the world turn round!”

EDIT: just noticed the midday update was missing my vote of Nictel.

Vote: Nightbringer seems a tad obsessive about the Secura thing.

Care to share what you know?

I just think that any note left blatantly accusing someone deserves attention. Especially when this weeks note is taken into account.
That, combined with our lack of any other leads besides quiet folks is why I am accusing secura. Besides, even if she is innocent, we shall know we cannot trust these notes then and have no more doubt in our minds. Not that sacrificing an innocent is acceptable, but what else have we to go on?

"Note to self, make anagrams harder. So the clerk doubts my intentions! I am here to save us from those blessed by vile gods! Secura you are either blessed in that way, or you are likely protected in the way the orphan was. Reveal which way it is, it is the only way to save your soul. I am solid proof you are affected by gods in one of these ways, so do not try to deny it. So many questions. So many questions. Are you of the Whispers of the Wave? Are you the one who killed the traveler last night through your mind, through your powers of psionics?! Or are you blessed by the bright gods? Suspecting that it is the former. Show all so that WE may know. Another puzzle for the faithful: qipv zjti wevyw xibsod xffob? "

This note suggests a few things; the writer is clearly a roleplayer, and it is likely one that doesn't have a solid grasp of grammar and punctuation as the note is a solid block of text with no real attempt to break it up into a more readable passage.

Furthermore, I have no idea what this tripe about gods and so on is; my PM does mention that I was once a servant of Camulos, God of Chaos, but that I left that shamanic lifestyle behind when I headed to Inavi and became a clerk; it has no bearing on my character currently.

And (Unvote, Vote:) Secura, this note taker seems pretty intent on getting you to say more about yourself

No, they seem intent on making you lynch an innocent, which is what you are doing.

How about you actually tell us a little more to defend yourself? After all, a scholar’s motto is “Scholarly debate is what makes the world turn round!”

My character was a Shaman of the Doviello, who gave up his life to move to Inavi for some unknown reason; my PM states that I have absolutely no idea why I took the path of a clerk, only that I wish to see the current events through and return home to my tribe.

I have one ability, aptly named 'Chaos'; twice during the game, I am allowed to change the votes of two people. I have not yet used this ability, and have to use it successfully change the outcome of a lynch in order to complete my personal goal. I guess the basis for the ability is that, as a clerk, I count all the votes and such, and I'm able to tamper with them if I so choose.

And, as I have been stating, my victory condition is Innocent; there's nothing more that I can say to protest my innocence. This information is either going to make you unvote or just

I want the priest to examine Secura! Until then, I'm behind the village on this one!

The priest cannot examine me if I am dead; however, I have revealed my entire role to him. Additionally, Beskar knows about my role; I told him everything about it around a week or so before he joined the game, when I thought he wasn't interested in playing... he knows that I'm innocent as well, and I informed the host that Beskar knew this.

We should not trust her anymore!

Why? What merits that response?

Not that sacrificing an innocent is acceptable, but what else have we to go on?

Oh, I don't know, the traditional methods for finding scum; analysis of posts, scumtells and so on? Not lynching someone based on utter BS?

Nightbringer makes a valid point. The only way to test the note-writer's credibility is to put her to the test. johnhughthom, Secura, I'm sorry, but I don't see a better way.

But then the purpose of the note is achieved, no? They are attempting to have a lynch wasted on an innocent, and that is precisely what will happen; they're using you to remove a potential threat to their victory, simple as that.

With sentiment like this, we don't deserve to win the game and you're slowly handing victory to the mafia; is that what you want?

I'd need to see a voting tally to know which votes would require changing and to whom... usually I'm a bit more invested in games and would be keeping a private tally through Excel, but that hasn't been the case for Inavi. >.<

I'm going with Nightbringer too, actually; having looked at the notes that apparantly incriminate me, the narrative style correlates with what I stated earlier. I think Nightbringer submitted the notes and then Seon spruced them up grammatically.

Additionally, Nightbringer stated that he believes the Angel of Death (ACIN's guardian) left the notes, and yet I have to wonder; why would the AoD leave helpful messages to the very townpeople that killed his young ward? It doesn't make sense whatsoever.

Not sure why people think the fish wife Skooma Addict is a medically skilled person, but she can have the medicinal items.

And perhaps the innkeeper ATPG should have some means of keeping his inn guests safe too.

As for the staff, bah its an ordinary traveler's staff. I think the old priest TheFlax could do with an aid for his old bones

All the while, Nightbringer has been acting really oddly with his repeated attempts at pushing the "credibility" of the note forward as an excuse. He may or may not be a scapegoat, but seems the most pressing out of all the individuals.

Excellent, I was hoping that you would post something like this; it actually confirms that it wasn't you that typed the message, but someone else.

This has to be an active, roleplaying-minded player that doesn't necessarily punctuate or grammatically structure their sentences properly; Nightbringer fits the bill, in my opinion, and I don't mean that as an insult but mere observation.

Before I forget the items, I'm voting for the scholar to have the staff, the priest to have the medicine and the adept to have the longbow.

I am highly insulted!!!:furious3:
JK, I know I am lazy with my posts, I'll try to be better about it because it is probably annoying to read.

But honestly, I didn't mean to turn into the leader of a crusade against Secura.

Considering how many people are dying every night do you really think the scum need fake notes helping them as well?

I suspected the angel of death the first time on the basis that, as it was an angel of death, perhaps it let the person it befriended leave a last clue when they died.

My guess is that the notes are being put out by a player as their night ability. This could possibly be combined with some marvelous investigative ability. They are using the notes rather than posting to keep them self safe from night death.

You say it is fake, I'm guessing it isn't, that is the crux of the matter. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry, but this is the best lead I see. I know looking for scumtells might be better but I'm not very good at that with this being my second game so I'm pursuing other leads.

If you are innocent we know this is something to ignore, if you aren't, then we have a voice to lead us.

If Secura's posted ability is true, I will probably die today. If that happens, know that the note writer would have still succeeded according to your predictions, by getting me, an innocent, lynched for believing him.

Nightbringer sudenly sees the jellyfish floating above them

My word! It is the great floating stinger of the south seas! I thought for sure I had driven this beast off for good when I lead the good ship Aggrandizement's crew against it.

Nightbringer backs towards the inn as he says this, a look of utmost terror on his face.

It must be back to revenge itself upon me!

Nightbringer flings himself into the inn and slams the door shut behind him, his voice cracking with this last sentence.

Considering how many people are dying every night do you really think the scum need fake notes helping them as well?

Well, think about it this way; I whinge about being night-killed early in large games, alot... it's probably my number one gripe about games of this size, I'm just killed so often before I have a chance to make an impact.

However, I am also a potential threat to the mafia in the late game (take a look at my accurate accusation of YLC in Murder Manor 3, for example), and thus the mafia usually needs to get rid of me early to avoid having themselves revealed later on; I believe that this note has been fabricated in order to get rid of me without the hassle of the kill.

I suspected the angel of death the first time on the basis that, as it was an angel of death, perhaps it let the person it befriended leave a last clue when they died.

I had the impression that the Angel of Death was a guardian, perhaps protecting ACIN from attack during the night or something similar... I didn't see any indication that it was an investigative role, nor one that could allow posting from beyond the grave.

My guess is that the notes are being put out by a player as their night ability. This could possibly be combined with some marvelous investigative ability.

I don't believe that the note has anything to do with a town-aligned player.

They are using the notes rather than posting to keep them self safe from night death.

I see one fatal flaw in this; it is too imbalanced as abilities go, and I think Seon would know that.

Pizza often states that investigative roles tend to ruin the game, and I think that a detective that could keep themselves anonymous when revealing their results would do just that, being both overpowered and something that I feel an accomplished host such as Seon wouldn't implement.

If you are innocent we know this is something to ignore, if you aren't, then we have a voice to lead us.

What's to say that I can't be a voice to lead now, or indeed any other able-bodied player? Why an anonymous note that is pushing everyone in the wrong direction?

I'm telling you outright that the note is fabricated; if you don't believe me after all this protesting, then fine, I can't argue my case any better than I already have.

The game must have a detective role of some capacity, they can simply scan me to prove the notes to be correct or false and have a trusted player reveal it on their behalf; lynching an active and somewhat able player like me on a whim is foolish.

If that happens, know that the note writer would have still succeeded according to your predictions, by getting me, an innocent, lynched for believing him.

Then what do you genuinely suggest?

Because I really don't think it's fair to be lynched for absolutely nothing, just as I start to pay attention to the game; it isn't as though I've been scummy, done something suspect or anything else of the sort... this is literally an anonymous note that says "oh hai der, plz vote Secura".

The notes have served as a massive distraction and I think that the only player that has proven to overlook it so far has been Pizza; the rest of us have been embroiled in it's lies, which is precisely what the author wants.

I still maintain that an investigator who could reveal anonymously is a stupidly overpowered role... unless his investigations were flawed in some way (Insane or Paranoid for example), which would actually go someway to explaining the note.

Update Evening 5

When Secura, the clerk, came in holding his battle axe, a hush fell in the inn.

Romanic emerged from the crowd and held the Mayor's Sword against Secura's throat. "Do you have anything to say to these accusations?" he said, pointing towards the note with the other hand.

Secura growled. "That note's a joke, and you know that."

"We'll see about that," Romanic muttered. Secura raised her battle axe high over her head.

Then there was chaos.

Romanic looked around in utter bewilderment as some among the crowd began to attack each other and gang up on Nightbringer. The Scholar awkwardly leaped out of the way as the Miller tackled the Guitarist, clearly wanting not to deal with any of this.

"SILENCE!" Romanic cried out. Everyone stopped. "I see no further reason to prolong this, Secura, goodbye."

Secura roared and raised is axe and might have saved himself had not the shipwright and the dancer grabbed ahold of him from behind. Instead, the last thing he felt was the dark blade of the Mayor's sword pierce his heart.

Secura was the Priest of Camulos!

"...so we got him?" a villager asked cautiously.

"Well, no duh sherlock. Wonder what a priest of Camulos was doing inside this village though."

The Beggar girl sadly looked down at the corpse. "I think he just wanted to go home..."

"...and we just killed him," another villager muttered. He disdainfully looked outside the window, past the flying jellyfish and at the accursed grey clouds.

Secura was also Innocent!

"Well, what now?" another villager muttered.

"What do you mean what now?" somebody replied. "We go home."

"But there's that...THING out there!" he said pointing at the jellyfish.

"Lemme handle this," the fishwife grumbled and took out her pocket knife as she approached the big floating jelly. The crowd of villagers gathered aroundher in curiosity.

Which was, perhaps a mistake, because the jellyfish then decided to unleash its deadly lightning bolt attack on the crowd.

http://charlottegore.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/top10-palp.jpg

The lightning bolt struck the Shipwright, Jerry, in the chest, vaporising him instantly.

JERRY WAS WOJED, HE WAS INNOCENT!

":daisy:! RUUUUN!" Romanic shouted, which was a bit unnecessary as the villagers had already split in all 8 directions by now as the lightning bolt struck Beefy, Nictel, and civplayah.

Beefy, Nictel, and civplayah was INJURED!

Update Morning 6

A figure sat on a chair. The figure tried to resist against the bindings that held her there, but it was no use. She slumped back into the chair.

"You know killing me won't do you any good," she pleadeed. The other figure shook his head solemly and took out his sword.

"You know you can avoid this fate, just tell me who the :daisy: you are." the other figure said.

"You can go :daisy: yourself," the first figure spat. "May the Whispers of the Wave curse you to all eternity! Do not think that any rest awaits you in Danalin's vault, you shall receive..."

The sword quickly beheaded the Dancer. "Wrong answer, my friend." the figure grinned.

.................................................................................................... ........

The beast spotted its target, DiY, and smacked its lips. It would feast well upon a female human tonight.

It lunged out and swiped at the mayor's daughter, catching only air. That seemed to confuse the beast. Humans were not allowed to be that fast...

It sailed over the place where Mayor's daughter ought to have been and landed around 7 feet away. It was not a particularly graceful landing and the werewolf grimaced in pain. It turned around to see that the Mayor's Daughter had drawn a rather wicked looking knife.

http://honya-ch.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/rena-bloody-cleaver.jpg
And a rather bloody one at that.

The werewolf howled in frustration as the Mayor's Daughter giggled manically and rushed towards the beast. Just what was wrong with this human?!

She swung her knife and aimed straight at the beast's throat, giggling something about red feathers. The werewolf easily parried the blade with its massive paw and punched her straight into a tree. Despite the fact that she probably had several broken bones and her white dress was soaked with her own blood (as opposed to, someone else's per se), she still charged at the beast. For the first time, the beast was terrified... the knife came straight at its chest...

And the werewolf dodged it. The mayor's daughter looked confusedly at the knife. Wbere did the beastie go? A feeling of something wrapping quickly around her throat answered that...

Two people went missing that night, and the bloody accursed JELLYFISH was still there...

The Dancer's corpse was first to be discovered. It was inside an abandoned building which people failed to notice before. The scene was pretty gruesome, I must admit. The head was 10 feet away from her body, still tied up to some chair, and 6 feet up on some kind of desk. Apparently the murderer had a sense of humor enough to stuff her mouth with an apple and put the entire blasted thing on a plate. As the villagers searched the remainder of her body, they found a ghastly thing, some kind of magical wand with esoteric symbols written all over it. The meaning was clear, the Dancer was...

A WHISPER OF THE WAVE CULTIST!!!!!!

Then the body of the Mayor's daughter was found. Despite the fact that her throat was ripped out by a werewolf, she looked fine compared to the werewolf's other victims. Probably because the werewolf was freaked out by the mayor's daughter...her knife was just damn scary, and examination of her face showed that she was giggling in her last moments...

The Mayor's Daughter was a PSYCHOPATH!!!!!!

On the topic of discussion today was how the three items, the Knife, The Magic Wand, And the Battle Axe will be distributed.

Also there was the jellyfish at the gate.

Oh yeah, I forgot to write about THE NOTE.

These notes have not been taking the route I intended, so this shall be the last one baring anything major. But this must come out. Lest I die tonight. This knowledge must not die with me. I want to tell a tale of a time before this one. Tale of a lost memory.

"I begin this journal here in order to record my visit to the town of Inavi. As one might expect, it is a disgustingly quiet village. But it is here in this disgustingly quiet village that an avatar of the gods of the Whispers of the Wave was born. The idol I recovered from the Whispers of the Wave temple in Innsmouth and divination spells confirmed it. Thus, I have journeyed to this distant fishing village of 170 in order to study the avatar. As far as I am concerned, I am the only one with the privillage to do so. Now I must identify the avatar... Surely the Amurite High Council would be delighted to hear of these reports.

The Avatar has been identitifed. Quite boring actually, he does not seem to possess any real abilities at the moment. Perhaps it is because he is not aware of himself?

Perhaps it is because the power of the Avatar is latent?

Nevertheless, it is quite clear that the Avatar's powers detailed in the Necronomicon, power of the reams to come true and extreme magical ability, has not manifested itself.

Meanwhile, I have begun developing a sealing spell which I named the Dreamhold. Just an insurance really, just in case that the Avatar does unleash its deadly power upon the world. Theoretically, once trapped inside the Dreamhold, the Avatar and all the inhabitants in this island will be unable to remember their true self, forever entrapped in an illusionry world."

I hope am still around by the time this is read. So that I am straighten things out.

Frozen In Ice
09-08-2010, 04:16
I have more to add to my tale.

"The Avatar's dreams have begun to come true! I have seen him conjure a fireball when angered, and his dreams seem to be coming true...

Could it be a power of foresight? No, that cannot be right. He told me that he dreamt of a flying jellyfish last night, and there it was, staring right into my soul...I think it zapped a poor fellow too. As far as I know, no such creature exists...

Well, perhaps there is a flying jellyfish, but I have never heard of one that can shoot lightning out of its tentacles.

Anyways...hold on...something's happening at the town square. I will investigate that.

It's over. The Whisperings... the Avatar... it has taken over...

I have erased the memories of everyone, and I hope they enjoy a paradise of a world I gave them, even though it is all a lie.
"

As you can see we appear to be within the dreamhold as we speak, and these are not our real lives. The giant Jellyfish, the blurred image, it all supports this conclusion. However, something, or what seems to be the case here, many things have disturbed our paradise. What I have recounted for everyone just now is what I have translated from the old Mayor’s Dairy. I have left out specific parts that are crucial to apprehending all of those responsible for this mess, for the mayor had an idea of what could disturb his dreamhold. And to answer the question that I am sure some of you have, I have no idea if the Avatar is still among us.

I want every living member of this town to recount the tale of where they come from and when they got here. Those who fail to comply will face serious consequences, so for your own safety please do as I ask.

To show how serious I am about this, and to practice as I preach I will go first. I hail from the land of the Grigori, but I am a Luonnatar and had arrived here quite recently. Now it is all your turn, and that is all that is required. Remember failure to comply could result in a shout of “off with your head.”

I wrote the notes because I believed I had to if I wanted to live yet still help the innocents (OOC: By the way, anyone can leave notes). I had been spooked into hiding by an attack by the wavers the night before the traveler was killed by them. My ability to find the religious is just that. I didn’t realize at the time how many non-wavers but yet religious there would be among us, and the late clerk had me convinced that she was guilty. It is reassuring that at least one person here could find his target though. But enough of the past.

If everyone does as I ask I am confident that any additional wavers can be caught. All I need is a little trust.

Also, I had a one-shot roleblock power and I used it on Romanic last night. I had been saving it for later on, when it might actually be useful.

I can safely say that Romanic is not the person who did the two murders last night.

The Mayor's Daughter was a psychopath, that's grand. We voted her two items and they were not found on her corpse.

Day 2: We voted her the 3 Spheres.
Day 3: We voted her the Mayor's Diary.

We know that Frozen in Ice has the diary but how he got it is nebulous. Afaik DIY never said he would give it to Frozen in Ice, and he actually told me last night in a private chat that he still had all the items, except the knife that he lost after attacking ACIN (I cannot paste a private chat, so you'll have to take my word on that).

Now I see that he lied on everything, Frozen in Ice has the diary, we don't know where the spheres are and he lied about losing the knife.

1) Very curious to know how Frozen got the diary after DIY posted this:

And since nobody smarter than me wanted Daddy's diary, now its all MINE forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever!

I don't understand why DIY would lie about giving the diary to Frozen in Ice. Giving an item in an attempt to help the town would have made him pass as townie, but he chose to keep this a secret.

2) Where are the 3 spheres if they are not on DIY's corpse?

1. Seriously, she came up as blessed by a god, she fit some parameters that didn't help her case, and then her defense only made her seem much more guilty.

2. It was only a waste of time because you guys paid attention to it instead of the real meat of the message. I must applaud you for the thought of using encoded messages to make it possible to identify the sender, Frozen. I'd like to know how the last one was encrypted (since you've already claimed), just because you've caught my interest (as my trying to break the code probably showed).

That said, your arguments against Secura doesn't sit well with me. You were (partially) responsible for the lynch of an innocent.

On top of that, you've worked together with someone we've just found out is a psychopath. Not something that strengthens your creditability a whole lot.

Askthepizzaguy
09-08-2010, 12:28
I rarely do this, but I have to insist on the key as well. Once I know what it does, I will give it to someone I think is innocent. Reason: I can actually verify where I was last night, and if that item is important, and it probably is, I want to know what it does. And I don't care if I get murdered, by the time that happens it will already be gone. Besides I already used up my power so if someone really needs this key, they can state their case for it without having to reveal publicly and then get murdered.

autolycus

Atpg can have the key. I'm trying to figure out who of our killers performed the night 2 kills. Right now I have 2 theories
1. One of the two kills that night was done by the mayor's murderer, and the explosion night 4 was somehow connected to or interfered with them.

In that case, Romanic has some explaining to do, given that he was apparently occupied last night.
or
2. It was the werewolf and the girl who murdered people that night, in which case it seems likely that the cultists can only kill every other night.

Romanic, would you care to confirm or deny that you were incapacitated last night?
Nictel can have the knife. I'm reluctant to give the priest the wand. Perhaps landlubber will know what to make of it. Innkeeper, did the bow just improve your strength?

I must applaud you for the thought of using encoded messages to make it possible to identify the sender, Frozen. I'd like to know how the last one was encrypted (since you've already claimed), just because you've caught my interest (as my trying to break the code probably showed).

Move all the letters back one letter for each word except for the middle word. Then it is an anagram that becomes "Why whisper when you can wave?"

That said, your arguments against Secura doesn't sit well with me. You were (partially) responsible for the lynch of an innocent.
Every innocent is responsible for another's innocent's death at some point, it happens. See my arguements against Beskar as well.

On top of that, you've worked together with someone we've just found out is a psychopath. Not something that strengthens your creditability a whole lot.
I never knew the mayor's daughter was a psychopath, but it was a one way transaction, I never helped DiY. Even so, if you were given the keys to saving the innocents from a werewolf would you turn it down? You've gotta take what you can get. And like I said I kept quiet about the transaction so that I wouldn't get any more attention from the killers.

Vote: Frozen in Ice trying to get us to kill innocents.
You just seem intent on getting me killed no matter the situation, but I'll explain it again for your benefit. First, I read from the mayor's diary that the whispers of the wave are somehow involved in this whole diaster. Second, I scan Secura and she comes as blessed by gods. So I decide to test the waters and accuse her with my note. Third, her reaction to the note only strengthens my suspicions. It was only after more pressure that she did reveal, and when she did she claimed to have the ability to change votes. "That's great," is what I thought. "If her story is true she'll use her ability, save herself, and thus confirm her innocence." Basically I thought at that point is that the only way she could die is if she didn't have her claimed ability and thus was evil. She let herself die. I think anyone would have the same reactions as I did, so I fail to see why I am getting so much flak for this.

Actually, I had to check back. I'm suprised you haven't even checked the facts. Skooma Addict voted the Magic Wand to me, but neither Jolt nor I voted any items to her. When Jolt voted the Magic Wand to me, and item I felt I could use, I decided to vote the Knife back to her, since to my recollection she never got any items.

#2 makes sense I guess.

#3. The problem should be obvious. You made an under the counter deal with a psychopath. I still don't understand why DIY would privately deal with you instead of publicly. I think going public would have helped his image, specially after what happened with ACIN.

About the 3 spheres, do you deny knowing where they are?

Yes, I had the worst headache of my life and collapse on the floor. Stayed so all night.

The kills per night so far were 2-3-1-3-2, not constant at all so I don't think being roleblocked is a bad point against me.

Thank you for answering me. It's true, the kill rate has not been constant at all. I've been examining the style of kills. We have 4 styles of kill: swordsman, werewolf, psychopath, and magic (likely cultist). You were blocked last night, so you're obviously not the swordsman or the werewolf. The psychopath (roulette kill, possibly others) is dead. That just leaves cultist. My current theory is that the cultists can only kill every other night, i.e. they killed the mayor night 0, the mayor's wife, night 2, and Winston Hughes, night 4. Under that theory, it was two of the werewolf, the swordsman, and the mayor's daughter who performed the first batch of kills. We now know you're not the swordsman or the werewolf. We have no evidence any way about you being a cultist.

And what might you want to know exactly? A bit hypocritical blaming people for voting each other items, when you are in the lead for two of the four items, Askthepizzaguy.

No, I have not communicated with them, the fact I am in the lead to receive the wand is based purely on the goodwill of others.

Why do you need the wand?

Do you know what it does?

The fact that they are voting you an item without explanation was worthy of investigation, still is.

I don't trust you Flax... you're all business. Where is the joy?

Joy is fleeting and will not preserve us in this crisis.

Now, to answer your questions. No I do not know what the wand does and the only reason I voted myself for it was because it is a mystical item and I seem to have some understanding of those.

I find it odd you are condemning me for this when you self voted for not one (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?129909-Inavi-Howling-Seas-In-Play&p=2053207081&viewfull=1#post2053207081) but two (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?129909-Inavi-Howling-Seas-In-Play&p=2053207115&viewfull=1#post2053207115) of the items. And the reasons that make this move more valid, because you want to see what the axe does beside giving strenght and you want to know what the key does and give it to someone you deem innocent. The first amounts to nothing more than anyone who voted to gain an item, they generally don't know what it does. The second is non enforceable and so it is moot. Also consider, the only item that has been voted for me thus far was the idol and I revealed all I know about it, first to anyone who asked and then in public.

Update Evening 6

Scholar walked into the inn, grim determination in the face. All the villagers grew silent.

Romanic stepped forward with the mayor's blade in his hand. "It is time to end it, Frozen in Ice. Time to show us your true self."

Frozen in Ice stood defiantly. "I am innocent," he declared.

"Well, we'll see about that," Romanic replied flatly.

"In that case," the scholar said, holding up two small spheres. "I have an objection to make," with that, he let the spheres fly.

One of the spheres caught the beggar girl in the chest and exploded, sending already weakened Beefy flying away until he was Impaled in the neck by a table.

The other sphere caught the Flutist and exploded, killing her instantly as well as sending the adept and the child flying out the window. Everyone began screaming.

The Flutist was Innocent!
Romanic let out a howl of anger. "That's it! I-"

Beskar looked up, despite the fact that all but one arm was torn aside from her body. "Hahahaha...." she whispered. "I can see it...whisperings...hel-" and died.

Beskar was an Whisper of the Wave Cultist!

The body of Beefy was also moving, but not in any way that suggested that it was alive...instead, it was showing his true form...

BEEFY WAS A WEREWOLF!!!

Romanic opened his mouth, then closed it. Tried opening it once more and found that no word came out. "Oh," he finally said. "Who would've known?"

Frozen in Ice nodded. "Now let us discuss the other matter...choxorn."

The Town Idiot Gulped. "Wait wait wait! I confess...I stole Nictel's stuff, but only because it was shi-"

"Right," Romanic replied as he decapitated choxorn.

CHOXORN WAS A BLOODY BLOODY THIEF (but otherwise innocent

"I guess this is it then," Frozen in Ice let out a nervous laugh of the one who had stared up the nostrils of death.

"Not quite," the priest muttered. He outstretched his hand towards landlubber who was just now struggling to stand back up and a pillar of fire descended from heaven, engulfing landlubber's body, its outlines being visible for a split second until there was nothing left but glass where landlubber's body originally stood.

landlubber was innocent

Such fiery display, however, caught the attention of the Jellyfish, who homed in for the kill...

a lightningbolt emerged from its tentacles and caught Frozen in Ice in the leg.

Frozen in Ice was injured!. Everyone else ran like there was no tomorrow....

Host Note: Frozen in Ice, I am disgusted with your luck of being able to send in an order that saved you your life 1 minute before the deadline as well as your unluckiness of being hit by the jellyfish's random targetting device in the same day.

Update 7 Morning

Jolt was struggling to stay awake....she could feel the poison coursing throughout her body and lulling her to sleep...

Crack

Jolt jolted up from her bed one last time and looked into the eyes of the werewolf standing outside her window. She reached for her knife with her hand before it dropped off the side of the bed. The window exploded inward...

Jolt, the Traveling actress's body was found inside her own room, her body torn beyond any recognition... Her identity, however, was made quite clear from investigating her belongings for a ring belonging to the vampric aristocrats of the Calabim nation was found amongst her clothes.

Jolt was a Vampire!

Many of the villagers were now feeling much better since the attack of the jellyfish... Civplayah and Nictel is now no longer injured!. Even the child seemed to be feeling much better espescially with the amount of bandages applied to his wounded back.

One, however, was not feeling as good. Autolycus the retired captain came in limping, apparently the result of a commotion that many villagers heard last night.

In any case, search of choxorn's house yielded the Cane Sword of the late merchant. If lanldlubber was carrying any items, it was now reduced to nothing more than a ounce of ash. The Knife that Jolt carried would now be voted on once more.

Hmm, so there is still another werewolf. I must say I am shocked to see the true identities of my troup,e but as I vouched for WeW, please know that I too am innocent to of their crimes.
Galnyea has been somewhat absent as of late, so I suspect him somewhat, but I'm really not sure. I'm pretty sure ATPG, Romantic, and FiI are innocent though, although it seems like they would have been killed given their strong presence.
I suspect that as lurkers are the primary people who have died that our foe is an active speaker. Killing off lurkers when he is one himself would narrow down the group of suspects around him too much. My guesses are Skooma and Diamond. As to the items, having not yet received one, i would certainly like to have that cane sword.

Diamondeye
09-11-2010, 08:55
TheFlax can have the Cane Sword. By my count I'm one of the few people here who doesn't already have a weapon, and it seemed like the knife could be wielded by children, so I want the knife.

I was attacked by a Waves Cultist last night, who flung me against a wall a couple times with their psionic powers. I myself am suspicious of Romanic and possibly civplayah. The only night we now don't have a kill for them is the night he was blocked by the innkeeper and civplayah was injured. I think Galynea should have the cane and TheFlax would be a good choice for the knife. Innkeeper, what does the key do?

Askthepizzaguy
09-11-2010, 17:10
Someone I know needed the small key to open a very specific box, which I don't know what is in it yet because they have not told me.

I have a feeling the innocent team is in a bad way at the moment.

I am a claimed roleblocker who has been getting items fairly freely, and I've never been attacked and barely voted. I am either way, way off in who I think is guilty, or the situation is so severe that I am not even a concern for the guilty teams at the moment, their top priority being each other, perhaps.

Someone feels really safe keeping me around, and that means I have failed badly.

autolycus
09-11-2010, 18:10
The revealing of vampires is indeed disturbing. I'm going to go through and chronicle who killed or attacked on which night, in hopes of figuring out when we don't know what was going on.
Night 0: Sonny: werewolf kill, Seon: Magic kills, which I think are the cultists.
Night 1: Jooray: Werewolf God Emperor: Cultist ?? This is the day that's the least clear, because Seon didn't do the spoiler scenes for it.
Night 2: remake20: Psycho Vince: Cultist Spl1t: Werewolf
Night 3 csargo: Swordsman ACIN: attacked by psycho Frozen: attacked by Cultists
Night 4: Diana: werewolf Winston: Cultist Link: Swordsman
Night 5: johnhughthom: Swordsman DiY: werewolf
Night 6: Jolt: Werewolf Autolycus: Attacked by cultist

So, we have a few questions coming out of this.
1. What did the vampire do in all this time?
2. What was the swordsman up to on nights 1,2, and 6
3. Did DiY do anything night 4 or night 1?
All other attacks are accounted for, assuming being killed precludes attacking, and johnhughthom was supposed to perform the kill night 5.
That possibility does reduce my suspicion somewhat of romanic as cultist.

I'm also somewhat suspicious of you, atpg. I think it's fully possible you're lampshading the lack of pressure/attacks on you and you've either become a vamp or are a cultist. I may have more thoughts later.

OOC:
The following table is based on the assumption that there are 3 werewolves, 3 wavers, and 1 psychopath as the only mafia members. 7 out of 31 is about 4.5 innocents per mafia, which is within the range of possibility for a multiple team game. A 3rd werewolf is unconfirmed as of now. The two explosions and the mention of a poison, along with the appearance of a vampire, are making this seem less likely now.

Werewolf 2 denotes the one that attacked DiY

Werewolf 2 Werewolf 3 Waver 3
Autolycus X
Romanic If and only if ATPG is other wolf
ATPG X
civplayah X X
TheFlax X
Diamondeye
Skooma Addict
Galynea X
Nightbringer X
Nictel X X

I am not much of a believer of post analysis, but I think vote analysis produces results.

Notes:

ATPG and civplayah can't be wolf buddies due to risky voting day three
more possibility for Diamondeye to be waver due to item voting on day 4 (voted on one item with Johnhoughthom, the other with Renata)
Renata votes Diamondeye the puppet day 5, 2nd vote, but it doesn't show up in update
Diamondeye can't be wolf buddies with Nictel (2nd vote Day 5)
ATPG most likely isn't wolf buddies with Nictel (1st vote Day 5)
Diamondeye less likely to be waver, votes me staff Day 5
Nightbringer, Galynea, and Civplayah have all been scanned as not being religious by your's truely, thus it is almost impossible for them to be wavers.
Autolycus can't be a waver, as he claimed he was attacked by one, if he actually did the attacking someone would have come forward
more possibility for Diamondeye to be waver due to splitting vote yesterday to help get me killed. He must have known switching that late would be almost like a vote for me. Not sure if ATPG is more likely to be a waver for following

Summary and Final Questions
How did Autolycus survive a waver attack, is it because he is a werewolf? This the second time we have seen an explosion during the night, what is the cause of this? Are there more vampires out there? Who used the poison on Jolt?

Overall, I'd say that the most suspicious people are Diamondeye, Skooma Addict, and Romanic. We should put pressure on them.

I didn't mention the spheres yesterday because I was in a rush and I couldn't answer everyone. Additionally, they were a last resort and I wanted to keep them a secret. Anyway I am directly responsible for the death of a waver and werewolf, so what kind of mafia am I being accused of here? Another psychopath? To me a psychopath does not sound like a person who would have a partner.

Hey, anyway Romanic, I just found from the out Mayor's Diary that the Mayor's sword has special spells held inside it. How come you said it only gave +1 strength back on the day you got it? I was going to contact you privately about it, but you have forced my hand.

Really? It's odd then that you chose to quote my post #409 one line after the question about the spheres. Looks more like you decided to evade the question rather than a lack of time since you answered my post but not that question.

Anyway I am directly responsible for the death of a waver and werewolf, so what kind of mafia am I being accused of here?

I don't know about that. After reading the writeup again, I realize that you used only 2 spheres, one that targeted wideyedwanderer(townie), and another to target Beskar(waver) and both were voting for you. Beefy (werewolf) was collateral damage, and Diamondeye/Skooma were also injured in one blast.

Using 2 spheres on wideyed and Beskar could have been an attempt at saving yourself by removing their votes, and it worked. In this scenario targeting Beskar gives you credit for not being a waver, but you could be a werewolf or something else.

Another theory is that the spheres would target random players and you got lucky, killing 2 who were voting for you. After all, it seems a little bit overpowered to have items that could kill 3 players on the same turn. I think it's possible that you hit one of your own.

But no matter what the truth about the spheres is, I find it very interesting that you claim killing a werewolf when it is clear from the writeup that Beefy was collateral damage :

One of the spheres caught the beggar girl in the chest and exploded, sending already weakened Beefy flying away until he was Impaled in the neck by a table.

Another lie, tsk tsk.

Oh you just learned about that eh? Reading the diary is a work in progress, you learn new things every day? :smug2:

Yeah, it's true that the sword is more than a mere +1 STR now, but on Day 1 it was only +1 STR, I didn't lie about that. New powers were unlocked since.

I may be but a simple miller...and your phelosofecal discussions are really above my understanding, but I just wanted to explain that Jolt the vampire maybe didn't get to do much, since she probably had to find someone stupid enough to follow her outside at night. She actually asked me to come with her during the second night following Sonny's death. See! Good ol' fashioned villager xenofobianism saved my life!

And... I'm kinda loving Autolycus' argument there... I won't kill a fellow villager until he explains himself, but those bubbly spheres'o-exploding seem to explain that specific death pretty well!

My friends, I am touched that some of you would vote weapons for me, but I do not need them, I am well able to fend for myself already.
