It really was down to the last kill that turned me onto Lewwyn though, so I’m not sure how much help a few extra days would have been. Lewwyn did play an exceptional game here, so I don’t want to minimize that at all.

@monty - why the late turn of opinion and last minute realization that it was Lewwyn? That seemed to come out of nowhere.

Eh, we would have succumbed to "Lynch WoG-Avoiding Lurker" syndrome.

Ultimately, that pair's performance was worthy of a Loki, or the modern Moriarty.

@ BSmith

Well, if Yaro was keeping his vote on you when you were the leader in the vote meant you couldn't be really be his killer. However, I retained the conviction that it was you to the extent that I wanted to avoid what I describe in the last QT post.

Totally off-base about edse but why was he defending Monty like you were scum-buddies??:laugh4:

I guess you bribed him.~:2cents:

Oh and...Lewwyn did an good job of flying under the radar, kept jumping on bandwagons and we never noticed.:shame:

He rightfully considered the elimination of the final killer a more important matter than expulsion of a "neutralized" faction.

It is true, by the way: we gods never had any special abilities.

So my instinct on Lewwyn was right, all the way back on day 4 (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?140181-With-Great-Sacrifice&p=2053429464&viewfull=1#post2053429464). Shouldn't have bought the hurt reply so easily -- though no telling if the rest of the town would have followed or if it would have just gotten me killed earlier.

YAY!

Thanks guys! Fun game really happy to have it all work out in the end. BSmith really had the answer in the end even it really was circumstantial evidence at best. Was actually very flattering. I will say though that I planned on killing Dave no matter if you guys thought he was innocent or not. I was going to spin it whichever way suit me. I was actually considering pinning it on Lazy and postulating that he wrote up that whole thing on Dave at night on purpose just to make himself seem innocent. Wasn't a matter of me not seeing the whole conversation.

Visor, of course I had to kill you scumbuddy! I knew you'd figure it out so I killed you after you professed suspicion in other people.

The WOK was pretty vital in the end. Really helped me figure out a path to victory. If I had to kill of all those lurkers who were obviously townie, I would have run out of lynch targets no question. As soon as Monty focused on BSmith I was really focused on getting White_Eyes lynched so I could leave the lynch bait for last. White_Eyes almost screwed it by being so ignorant of what was going on in the game. I thought for sure you guys would see he was just a legitimately lurking townie with no clue. Anyway, I was just trying hard during teh final days to keep the balance suspicious exactly where I wanted them. The only wild card was Yaro! LOL

Well actually I fought against a bunch of bandwagons too. And tried to protect GH even though I probably shouldn't have. :laugh4:

Thanks for hosting Khan! I had more fun dead this game than I usually have alive. Lewwyn - great working with you.

Well played all - especially Lewwyn. I think (hope?) I learnt a lot about being a townie playing this game. Thoroughly enjoyed the theme and the writing and hosting was impeccable. Thanks Khaan and to all who made this immensely tense and enjoyable for me.

Sorry I haven't popped in before now - well played to the mafia, particularly in the end-game. I agree with Lazy McCrow that the setting and writing were excellent. As a side note, this brings my record of deaths at night as a power role to 3 from 4, the fourth being when I was lynched as a result of being targeted at night in Capo. I think I'm doing something wrong :beam:.

Shmael, what were your powers?i

Ishmael was a regular detective.

Each god was picked randomly. The first night phase of no kills was each god recruiting their champion of choice. It turned out that having a backup sent was a great idea, because they all tried to recruit each other: :laugh4:

Montmorency or GH

Contact GH for champion, Chaotix if he declines, and finally attempt Csargo.

Recrut: Csargo
Backup: Lewwyn
