So. Who the hell are you anyway? I mean, here we are "anonymously" posting comments on sensitive political comments and yet, who are you? Who am I?

I know that:
(in no particular order)

Abokasee: used for experiments; legendary; creative; unique; father of bartix; started several creative but failed mods; seldomly frequents the Backroom but brings up unique topics like "rent apartment with sex" when he does.

AdrianII - Dutch journalist that is on the moderate left. Often in duels with Fragony on Dutch immigrant issues. Not always present in the Backroom, he also earned the title of historian in the Monastery for his contributions there. Rumours about that his time here was predetermined and was some kind of journalistic experiment, has gotten stronger by his sudden and long disappearence from the org. His return is greatly appriciated. Witty Imperialist (is there any other kind?). Awesome in every sense unless your a conservative. "Whenever I hear the word democracy I reach for my wallet."

Ajaxfetish: A long time member and active contributor to the Org. Especially active in the Main Hall where he and Martok basically own a monopoly in the answering-of-questions business. This fact wasn't missed by the staff and it's probably the reason why he now has access to the hidden forum and free viagra stash all Senior Members have the benefit of.

Alexanderofmacedon: Knight of Ni; young high schooler; liberal (self-described); not really feeling organized religion; thinks Texas is better than Michigan; best penis jokes ever at the Org. Watches discovery channel a lot and believes there were dragons once

Alexander the Pretty Good - won the Writing Contest this year (!) and therefore by default a writer with potential. One of the more reasonable and effective conservatives of the org, he is looked upon with promise as one of the future stalwards of the Conservative Empire that dominates the Backroom's Right.

AndresTheCunning: The Org's official Greeter of Newbies in all but name, his presence is prominent throughout the Entrance Hall. A frequent visitor & contributor to the Tavern as well, particularly in the Frontroom and Gameroom. Possessing a seemingly bottomless well of cheerfulness upon which he's constantly drawing, Andres is unfailingly friendly and courteous to his fellow Orgahs. Loves beer, of course--but only good beer (no common swill for him)! His only real flaw is his implacable hatred of camels, but Mithrandir & Martok believe that he'll eventually come around and "see the light".

A. Saturnus Seemingly left-leaning German Psychologist. He formerly modded the Tavern, which may or may not have permanently damaged his psyche. Has spent time "in exile" in Belgium.

Banquo's Ghost: originally known as Haruchai, he posted an excellent Cuman AAR in the Main Hall. Sadly, he seems to have abandoned M:TW for the Dark Side known as the Backroom. Almost immediately on his arrival to the backroom, he immediately distinguished himself with a fair, logical, and courteous debating style. Seeks truth, not partisanship. Accepted to the Royal Order of the Robe in 2006.

Beirut is a lumberjack in Canada. Yes, a real lumberjack. He is ready with his axe to close any thread that appears to discriminate against homosexuality. He also remains subserviant to his lord Big King Sactasomethingorother.

{BHC}KingWarman888 is a notable chap, the honorable leader of BHC. Enjoys being the center of attention. Even if he has to act the fool to garner said attention. He holds typically conservative beliefs, and is completely incapable of detecting sarcasm. Spammer.

Big King Sanctaphrax *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=1190906&postcount=468) Also known as BKS since nobody can spell Sanctaphrax unless having it in front of them. Co-overlord of the Frontroom. He also reportedly mods some other strange forum known as the "Entrance Hall." Political views are unknown to me, but he likes Pink Floyd so he can't be all bad. made famous by posting a pic of him engaging in, in some regions, illegal activity with a donkey. once publicly remarked he masturbated to the girls in the Babe thread.

bmolsson - Swedish buissnessman ending up in Indonesia. Muslim with two wives although his conversion seems to have more to do with the wives or improved business opportunities, than any religious convictions. Infamous for his witty one-liners with a large variation of quality.

Bopa the Magyar Na na na na na na na Bopa Bopa Bopa Magya Magyar Magyar Magyar! Clearly deranged. Photos (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=1160997&postcount=236).

Byzantine Mercenary Not related to Byzantine Prince. A solid and regular contributor. He's christian, but openminded, and will defend Islam and its honorable adherents should it be targeted by spurious generalisations.

Byzantine Prince is a young Canadian man of ambiguity. Is he is gay? Is he straight? Who knows. But one upon a time, he posted a poll asking fellow orgahs if he had been behaving better lately. The answer BP, is certainly yes.

Caravel: If Mithrandir & Martok were the Sultan & crown prince of the Main Hall (respectively), then Caravel would almost surely be its Grand Vizier (having ascended to the office upon the extended absense of Ajaxfetish). He can (and does) answer virtually all MTW-related questions (be they related to gameplay, modding, technical issues, etc.)....and unlike Martok, he actually knows what he's talking about! Extremely even-keeled, patient, and knowledgable. Creator of the MTW Pocket Mod (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=75388). Very nearly left the Org in late 2006, but a general outcry throughout the Main Hall convinced him to stay in the end. No one's quite sure where he's actually from--the only residence he claims is the Main Hall itself--but its denizens are grateful for his continued presence.

ceasar010: Owns more guns than all the armies of Europe put together, and consequently is passionate and knowledgeable about gun control issues. Honest enough to ponder his controversial views openly, after shooting from the hip first.

Crazed Rabbit remains anonymous to all. Who is this man? What are his views? The world may never know. doggedly determined conservative and vicious member of the Leporidae family, Crazed looks harmless enough... at first. Appears to be weak against the Holy Hand Grenade and dislikes pompous liberal propaganda.

Craterus Young Spammer and best friend of The Stranger. Left the Org recently because he believes he was disliked. At least he left an impact on some of us before he left.

Cronus Impera *photo* (https://img165.imageshack.us/img165/1846/dsc028279td.jpg)A guy on a mountain.

Csar: rides unicorns into sunsets; a young high schooler; Texan; frequent chat room user. Liker of rock. Scared of all the oil fumes he breathes in.

currywurry *photo (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=1282318&postcount=518)* Perhaps the only known Emo of the Entire Org. Although quiet for the most part, Currywurry has sporadical bouts of insanity, which much to our ire, endear us to him. Over time, we've all come to like the ferocious Lesbian Rebel lurking within, almost as much, as we all love hot naked Lesbians.

DemonArchangel: Asian antieverything dude who, unlike many asian teenagers along the east coast, has facial hair. He hates just about everything, accepts homosexuality because he likes lesbians, doesn't decry drugs because he loves (helping those that sell) them, and thinks capitalism ruined his icecream. He also, incidently, eats children. He does, seriously. Oh he works as a techie at a lab, but only because he places no value on the sanctity of human life.

Devastation Dave, formerly Dave of Korea, is one of the Org's most outspoken and blunt members. Never failing to tell it as he sees it, this former air force member always gets his point across. "One of the most banned and demoted individuals in the Org. I wear that badge of honor like the canker sores on a hooker."

Discovery1: A college student with a hippy beard and an engineering brain. A chatroom and frontroom regular. And for some reason he loves to see other people drunk.

Divinus Arma He hates illegal immigration. Eclectic; economic and Constitutional conservative (self-described); socially centrist/liberal; mystical view of God; does not like organized religion; if one overlooks the bad jokes and occasional drunken post, can be a very intelligent debater, making discussing politics more than just futile bandying of words (which is the case most of the time).

doc_bean - The Official Pope of the Org, a friendly barbarian Belgian, he studies at the university in Leuven . He likes games (Castlevania for example) even to the amount that he dreams about it. As for his extreme politic views, he doesn't like pretty female politicians nor does he like Elio Durupo.

Don Corleone *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=828861&postcount=223) is a solid conservative with a daughter and a beard. He has been to New York at least once. Articulate backroom celeb. Senior Member.

Drisos *Photo* (https://img461.imageshack.us/img461/7765/driesrk2.jpg) A Dutch member, an avid Shogun player and one who's tireless efforts have made sure the Shogun MP community never floundered. Posts in the frontroom now and then, and of course in the Sword Dojo.

drone - A robot? Another one of those moderates without the flash of DevDave or JAG. A reasonable poster and upstanding member of the Org. Not a backroom addict, but a solid contributor.

Duke John: Legendary modder of Dutch descent. Famous for his excellent modeling in both MTW as in RTW, he has been known to do things with skins and models thought impossible before he proved the general public wrong -- again. Oh, he likes Hertog Jan beer, too. Senior Member.

Duke Malcolm - Formerly known as King Malcolm, we speculate that he changes his name out of loyalty to the true Queen. An ardent Scottish-British Imperialist with strong beliefs in Queen and Country and St. Andrew and of course true metal music, we have seen his efforts to defend the Queen and the Empire in many places and many times. He also shares a certain dislike for the hated Tony Blair. And I must say, I oft enjoy Classical music...

Dutch_guy: one of the quieter dutch members of the forum, despite the large number of posts. Always polite, and seems to often be curious about why someone thinks something. Noticeable charactarisitc is always posting a balloon after a post. Seems like he's posted in every single forum, an accomplishment that deserves congratulations. Has a convenient link to the bartix thread in his sig. Senior Member.

econ21 Confused the hell out of everyone when he changed his title. Has strong left-wing views but always comes across as reasoned and considered, and at least understands his opponents point of view even if he doesn't agree with it. Seems to have gone to university with every prominent member of the Labour party. pwnz the Throne Room. Holder of the scariest avatar.

Edyzmedieval- an Orgah with a great love of the community here at the Org. He shows an honest loyalty to his fellow Orgahs and defends the honor of his favorite modifications with zeal. A good kid with lots of enthusiasm. One of the younger Orgahs who lives in Romania. He's very energetic, having been part of several big rtw modding projects and currently part of Hegemonia TW, Europa Barbarorum and is one of the punic totalwar leaders. He also likes to write a lot. Probably a member of every mod at the Org at one point or another.

English assassin A former Tory councillor and current solicitor who lives and works in the great metropolis. A heavy metal fan who likes to ride motorbikes when not councilling or soliciting. A 'gulls' fan (Gillingham) with a healthy sense of humour and let's face it, you'd need it living in London and supporting Gillingham.

Faisal: From the UAE he was in the special forces and is minor nobilty. He likes to game and belives teh USA is great. Married to a Canadian woman he likes to take advice from his mother. Being minor nobilty Fizz fights the good fight agianst Islamofantaics promoting free speech and equality. Is the very personification of classical Arabic/Islamic politeness and manners. Has not just one, but TWO wives!!

Fragony *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=1192094&postcount=30) Wonderfully quirky oddball, from The Netherlands. Loves boats, dislikes immigrants. Is 'Fraggadelic'.

Frogbeastegg Lady Frog is one of the most valued members of the entire Org, as her stash of Hall Of Fame awards testify. Author of the mighty beginners guides to STW, MTW & RTW, she also single-handedly set in motion the fan-fiction movement of the Org, leading to the creation of the Mead Hall. A former student of archeology, and fan of obscure, technical history books, she has also been known to obsess over Thief and KOTOR.

Gawain of Orkeny was once one of the Org's most prestigious and honorable members. A stalwart conservative and defender of truth, justice, and the American way. A recent family tragedy has so disrupted his life that he can hardly even post here. Gawain, we miss you. :shame:

Gelatinous Cube - angry tough-minded libertarian who often disagrees with the other libertarians. Comes out solidly against government growth and organized (and probably disorganized) religion. From Eugene in the USA. Every now and again likes to bait people until they froth at the mouth, including his own side, which is endearing. Usually though, a tenacious debater, even if his politics are as mad as a bucket of frogs. After arguing for a year that he would not join the military, he recently joined the U.S. Army and gets to drive giant hulks of steel that rain death down upon the enemies of freedom.

GeneralHankerchief: a relative new face on the Backroom, although no stranger to the Org; did an interesting Segesta experiment; writes up great profiles for others; a formidable arcade player. Also the member who created panic and Excitement in the frontroom by starting the by now infamous Mafia games.

Geoffrey S: Dutch member, yes another one, who lives in Breukelen (Utrecht) and is becoming increasingly active on the org as time passes since he joined the .Org summer of 2005. Posts in the backroom more often than he does in the frontroom, doesn't really take a particular political stance which doesn't deter him from making sensible and readable posts in the backroom on pretty much every political or non political topic.

Gertgregoor - Overall a nice guy, who lives in Bilzen, Belgium(I accidentaly made the mistake of asking him how nice is Holland... ). Works for EB(although inactive), works for Blue Lotus and EB right now. A neutral debater who shows respect for the opinions of other Orgahs whenever he frequents the backroom.

God's Grace Currently lives in Fairfax. An Orgah who can be found in just about any hall of the community, from the frontroom to the entrance hall, to the throne room and more. A courteous fella who posts with regard to the honor of others.

Goofball *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=1015338&postcount=263) took over Rory20UK's role as Backroom schizophrenic. He alternates between wild, almost troll-like, knee-jerk left wing hysteria and considered, reasoned and balanced centrist (sometimes centre-right) views. One never knows what each post will contain. He's Canadian.

Gorebag *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=833596&postcount=231) is stritcly on the margins of soceity, embracing odd techniques for sexual gratification. A man of few words, he feels that his points are retardedly obvious.

Hepcat: Pakeha New Zealand student. Plays the trumpet.

HijiJunior in high school. Plays football. Used to live in new Jersey now lives in Virginia. Has a strong distrust for minorties. Staunch conservative who beilives libs are evil much like Divinus Arma. He frequents the chat as well.

Hurin_rules is a professor of medieval history somewhere. A liberal, he is always ready to point out errors in conservative logic.

Ice - self-described "moderate Republican," born in Virginia. Just finished high school, moving on to University of Michigan at Ann Arbor; Likes the game Call of Duty and Day of Defeat; Likes the band "Fuel"; Kind of short at 5'5''; Blonde hair; Born in Ohio; Pretty cool kid.

Ichi - Something as unusual as a American left-wing libertarian. Big player of MTW, both SP and MP. Known for the classical Gah! Ichi! Gah! Very prominent, knowledgable and helpful mod in the Main Hall

InsaneApache The arch-Englishman. Residing in Yorkshire, this former shopkeeper, grandfather, avid Times reader and master of delightfully bad puns is always a gentleman. Dislikes Bliar with a passion. His geat sense of humour helps him cope with the life-long misery of being a Bolton Wanderers fan.

Idaho Passionate leftist. It used to say Senior Member next to my name. However I think my frequent verbal abuse of other patrons seems to have caused a demotion!

IrishArmenian He seems to have found his two favorite places (the monastary and the backroom.) His name refers to the fact that he is Irish and Armenian. A soldier in the Armenian army, he takes much pride in what he does.

Ironside: A Swedish dude. Is a master of useless knowledge, particularly Darwinism. His brain has been corrupted by this peer pressure, and he has now taken Evolutionist step no. 2: Throwing links at Creationists in the hope that they will get bored and go home. Apart from this (and the fact that hes Swedish, which inevitably means there is a great degree of eccentricity about him), he is a cool relaxed guy. He clearly has at least some sense of humour, though it resembles a solar eclipse: we rarely see it, but when we do, its always special. Goes base jumping at the weekends.

Ja'chyra: A Scot with red hair. Now resident in England. Being a Scot in England, most people suspect him of trying to seize power over the English masses.

Jag *photo* (https://img48.photobucket.com/albums/v146/BigFreak/GCGoesToEngland/11.jpg) is the evil (or good) archnemesis of Gawain. He is socialist through and through. Based out of England, Jag believes that the redistribution of wealth is the asnwer to all of society's ills. Jag now only infrequently graces the pages of the Org, though his legacy as spammer remains.

KafirChobee A backroom rant poster.Left-leaning *very* angry American who tends to begin passionate threads and then abandon them completely once his views have been shared. /rant.

Kagemusha: Finnish self-described "IT slave". Solid contributor to the Monastery, very knowledgable. A major force in the Ran no Jidai mod for RTW. Recently annihilated the entire Frontroom along with Shadows in the mafia game. A pretty cool dude, all in all.

Kaiser of Arabia *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=905783&postcount=236) is a teen fella with a thing for Nazi Germany who holds ultra-conservative views that even most conservatives find facist. Kaiser of Arabia- See Panzerjager I do NOT have a thing for Nazi Germany, just their military.

Kekvit Irae: The feisty and seemingly oft-harried assistant moderator of the Guides forums. Hailing from somewhere in Alabama and a member of the army national guard, she's not your typical Southern belle. In addition to being a TW fan, she also has a great love for cute fuzzy animals, with a particular preference for kittens. Edits out swear words with silly and/or embarrassing phrases. Quirky and energetic, Kek is a proficient user of the beret-wearing smilies.

Khelvan- You will not know him unless you know EB. He is a "Stone Monument" kinda guy- he has to be, being the current head of the Europa Barbarorum project. However, he has a very human, very twisted side, and upon occasion a little of this will slip through a crack in the stone facade. It was on one of these occasions that he posted a sticky thread which appeared to announce the cancellation of Europa Barbarorum, a thread which damn near killed several hundred people. He has slowed his activity down recently, but he still guides EB down the dark corridors.

Kralizec He is from the Netherlands. And is very knowledgable about the history of many time periods. He seems to enjoy helping newbies out with TW sometimes. He is a mysterious fellow with unknown political leanings. A prominent member of the monastery.

KukriKhan: made famous by once posting a pic of himself with a toilet roll wrapped around his head (which was later carefully re-rolled and put back for use.)

lars573 The only Orgah ever to state with seriousness: "Now I have a new project, retracting my fore skin." The community collectively wishes you the best with your science project my friend. -E

Left Eye Nine *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=1033667&postcount=279) Muslim hippie, with a big passion for Japanese women, a big music addict and freak. He likes to party and hang out with friends. Wants to be part of Al Qaeda soon, to take Osama's position and to sell camels.

Lemur *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=594094&postcount=91) is an anal fiscal conservative. He demands fiscal responsibility and is frustrated with Republican policy. A libertarian, he feels that the Republican party has abandoned its principles and has turned to the dark side for solice. He also "just don't hate enough to be a Bushie". A self proclaimed "prolific breeder, with two little lemurs scampering about the cage". A favorite target in Mafia games: "Almost certain to be a mafioso, and therefore should be lynched asap."

Louis VI the fat is in France. He is... uhm.. from France and also an Honorary Texan, which is possibly the most bizarre position on the Backroom. He likes rugby union (which is good) and Strike for the South (which is, erm, you know, weird).

Ludens: Widely acclaimed patron of the Mead Hall, this brave man took it upon himself to build up the complete library documenting every single story that has ever graced that forum. While he wasn't the first guy to propose a Mead Hall library (that was Monk), he took that excellent idea and perfected it. Occasionally wanders bewilderedly into the Frontroom or elsewhere, making delightful posts on myriad subjects.

Master of Puppets Very angry death metal teen. Being watched by the FBI and will be taken down by snipers any day now.

Martok: long-term member of the org, all too swiftly approaching middle age. Fanatical player of MTW, frequent greeter of new members, avid trekkie, and all-around nice guy. Of Norse descent. The assistant moderator in the Main Hall, a profession with the questionable honour of having to clean up camel dung in Mithrandir's stables.

Mithrandir camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels camels

Monk: a quiet member, but his posts are usually worth reading. Formerly AM of the Mead Hall, but recently promoted to full moderator of the Spartan and Monastry forums. Created the first Mead Hall Library. He also is an excellent story-teller

Mount Suribachi is a selfless individual, demonstrated by his clear refusal to whine about being included here (as understandably desirable as it is to have others justify your existence through simple recognition) but yet he immediately took the time to write numerous descriptions of others, stirring others to action as well. He likes the color red and has a tall hat that is..uhm...red. Senior Member.

Myrddraal: from English soil came an excellent modder who was such a shining star amongst the others that he became a moderator, which made him an even greater asset for the modding community. Attempted to bring the Wheel of Time books to the computer screen before the Greatest Evil for modders overtook him: real life.

Navaros: stands up for morality; a devout Christian who doesn't conform to standard right or left views, but rather takes the view of the Bible; dislikes secularism and animal testing; does not like the direction the Frontroom took ("lack of quality threads"). An Orgah with Integrity.

Orda Khan: Safely said, the one-man vanguard of the Mongol cause. Want to know something about Mongol culture, state, society and, yes, army? This is the man to ask. Always ready for a good historical debate, his specialty is nomadic history, specifically archery and the Mongol Empire. Has a family member around (Jochi Khan), but that one hasn't visited in a long while.

Papewaio *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=662477&postcount=117) Kiwi-Australian moderator. Usually called Pape, becouse nobody can write correctly Pape..something.The father of brick-crushing-method moderation. And btw has really beautifull wife who is an Orgah too: Wasabi aka Mamawaio and they have a boy nicknamed Babywaio by fellow members of the Org.

Panzerjager *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=1195873&postcount=484) - The fascist resident of the org, anyone who thinks Kaiser (once upon a time Capo) of Arabia is fascist has never met this guy. We assume he lives in America and therefore safe from the vengeful Bundeswehr, but anyway, his loyalty to Nazi Germany and its ideologies, and the strange acceptance of capitalism at its least human, just like Mussolini's fascism, puts him into clashes with moderators and other members often enough. A member of the Right, though an extreme one not entirely in synch with the mainstream, he's notable for being against the current Islamic "menace" against the West, and his subsequent support for Israel. Panzerjager - See Kaiser of Arabia

Patriarch of Constantinople Formerly Hannibal99: Absurdly nationalist Greek, does machinima and ponders the mysteries of existence. Is too lazy to go out and buy M2TW because he claims to only be on the outskirts of Athens. Is thinking of becoming a politician. Was moaning to be on this list forever and has now been granted his one wish by Divinus-Genie-in-a-bottle-Arma. Chatroom regular.

Pindar is Lawyer with conservative views. (A conservative lawyer, oh my!) A brilliant defender of conservative values; one of the good guys. His arguments tend to leave opponents in awe, reducing them to squirrel-like chattering replies. Senior Member.

Proletariat is a disillusioned conservative U.S. citizen and member of the Army National Guard. She's mad at Soly and has been infrequent at the Org ever since his reappearance after Japan.

Quid Stands up for the letter 'Q'. And the numer 3, ah ah ah. (The count, anyone?, no?) Helvetican teacher (it's Helvetian...:book: )who frequents the Arena and Backroom. Slang for the British pound sterling currency. A long time poster , although you might not get that impression if you compare postcount to joint date, who mostly posts in the Backroom or in the Frontroom. Is known to sometimes passionately defend Swiss issues when they pop up in the front and backroom.

Red Harvest - no one is quite sure what his name means. Is he a communist? A harvester of communists and/or communist souls? Is he a cranberry farmer? No matter what, he likes Bush just about as much as he like the myriad shortcomings of Rome: Total War - not very much.

Redleg *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=723446&postcount=145) Former U.S. Army artillery officer. Another backroom Texan and known Conservative. An articulate and aggressive mass debater. If you want to have a tough debate and prove your points here is a guy who will give you a run for your money. Senior Member.

Red Peasant Really, he is a good guy, always adding his distinct brand of humor to every thread he posts in. A senior member who joined many years ago, no relation to Redleg, though I am not sure if he is related to Red Harvest. His short and to the point posts are always easy to read. A left-leaning Brit resident of Liverpool.

Reenk Roink: A pretty decent Arcade player. In the Backroom he can be frequently seen arguing with far-right users such as DevastinDave. Is unsure about whether his vote counts. A fairminded leftist who offers his passionate opinions, though with respect to others

Reverend Gonzois a paranoid marijuana-smoking leftist hippy with a Toyota Corrolla and a disposition toward personal liberty. He hates govn'ment interference into his personal life and is deeply protective of his privacy. He is inspired by the movie "Zorba the Greek". His favorite foods are Macaroni and Cheese and Count Chocula kids cereal. And Nilla Wafers. Formerly Zorba.

Ronin - Leader of the Portugese diplomatic mission to Howard Dean and the US Democratic party, he coincidentally hates Bush and most Republicans. Likes long walks on government-subsidized beaches, pina coladas financed by draconian taxes on business, and getting caught in rain.

Rory20uk was the previous holder of the title of backroom schizophrenic till he left for a while and Goofball inherited his mantle. Some lame excuse about being a junior doctor and working 90 hours a week. Has to fake his bedside manner. And he's English.

Rotorgun: A true eclectic; frequents the Backroom, Monastary, RTW Guides, and Entrance Hall. His posts usually take a while to read, but they're always full of information, and well-written (even if he needs to edit his posts due to poor typing skills). You can always expect to find a relevant quote in his posts.

Sasaki Kojiro: Mods the Shogun forums, meaning he is one of those lucky, lucky people who get the title of moderator without having to do more than pop in once a week to make sure everything's ok. Also a fearsome Arcade player, who held a hammerlock on the high scores before Zain and Faust came along.

Seamus Fermanagh Irish American with a brilliant and incisive mind and almost impossible to argue against in the Monastery. Not a lot easier in the Backroom, and holds conservative views. He is always respectful of others' opinions though he may disagree. Classy dude.

Seasoned Alcoholic The modding drunnkard. Currently working on RTG a great mod. But not nearly as drunk as Eclectic. ~D

Ser Clegane Latin name: "Moderatorus Germanicus".The German Backroom Moderator who is under suspect of heavy use of sedative medication, since he doesn't lose his temper ever in the heated atmosphere of Backroom. Recently his name turned red, so Ser, who is known to be enslaved in the red pagoda, may have turned into something more evil himself.

Sigurd Fafnesbane The Norwegian dragon slayer is not a daily poster. When he does come down from the North to join the discussion it is typically regarding the religious arena. His interests seem to lie with God, the nature of belief and faith. He is always respectful and open to explore the highways and byways of said topics.

Solypsist fashion photographer who now visits out of habit. Has been criticized for his use of the term 'teh ban', usually by those who, deep inside, feel they warrant it. Disappeared in controversy after an incident involving Lebanon and photojournalism (Do NOT ask), which is kind of bummer because he was a real card. Had a fancy sparkly eye avatar that made you look twice.

Somebodyelse remains a ghost of the forums. A regular of the front room, it is impossible to determine his true emotions. He is Eor (http://www.jenny-wren-crafts.co.uk/images/Crafts/canvasses/eor1.gif) incarnate.

Soulforged is one of our few South American members. That's pretty much it.

stalin - not that Stalin. one of the newcomers of the Backroom, this is the epitomized pinko liberal with a particular hatred for capitalism and USA and other such Rightists, just like he should with a name like that. One of the more active and newest of the evil Leftist conspirators that existed since Vladimir Lenin was a Monarchist. He has much to learn to survive the Backroom's deadly conservative arsenal, however, and the backroom Left has pledged to turn this promising recruit into JAG, minus the spam.

Strike for the South *photo* (https://img293.imageshack.us/my.php?image=me2af.jpg) is an Org populist hero. Nobody can explain why, but he is beloved by all. A Texan in San Antonio, this 6 foot bubba loves football, the Marine Corps, and all things Texas. Sometimes he is tempted by liberal thoughts, but he always manages to come back to earth. Very well liked because of his plain honesty and his seemingly simple yet mostly complex posts and his sense of giddy joy that seems to accompany a lot of his posts. He has a good aura about him that is detecable through the computer.

Tachikaze *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=1190506&postcount=466) has been here for decades, despite the fact the Org has only been around since the turn of the millenium. Just as all humans have some elemental connection to each other and all things, so to does Tachikaze have a connection to the Org. Thinks he's too important to be ignored.

Telekos Archelaou- One of Khelvan's followers; the EB whip and one of its primary foremen. Though the members of EB pay homage to Khelvan, it is Telekos whom they fear the most, for reasons unspeakable in public; suffice to say that, while Khelvan is the Sultan, Telekos is the head of the Jannisaries. :uhoh: Oh- right- he is also a very nice person. In fact, he is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life. Honest. And one smart SoB.

Teutonic Knight Teenage, conservative Catholic, from Florida. Played an important role in the first iteration of EB.

The Stranger Also a Dutch member, kind of strange at times, but that must run in the family - he's supposed to be Beirut's only son  Isn't here too often at the moment, probably enjoying this ''Real Life'' phenomenon, but he used to spam the frontroom on a regular basis.

The Wizard: Dutchman of Jewish background. Knowlegdable in history and previous member of the Europa Barbarorum project. Occasionaly visits the Mead Hall where he posts excellent stories (although he seldom gets round to finishing them).

Tiberius: Mostly looks in the backroom without posting (you said it). RTW player who knows a lot about history, at least enough to hold his own in the Monastery. Frequently welcomes new members. He apparently attends a boarding school

TinCow Doesn't really post a lot in the front and backroom, but makes up for that with thought out posts in the Throne Room. A fellow PBMer who never steps down, he's always in it to the end. A guy you can really depend upon.

Tosa Inu Legendary Dutch former admin, preposterously enigmatic and hard-working. Some posulated that TosaInu was actually an inherited account, passed on from admin to admin, thus creating the illusion of immortality. Has stepped dowm from the top job to pursue real-life concerns, or so he says. Truth be told, he was slain and replaced by Kukri Khan, the current evil overlord and all-around-nice-guy of the Org.

Tribesman. Oh dear. Tribesman is an Irishman with a deep hatred of Conservative American Policy. He despises the Israeli occupation of Palestine, despises the American occupation of Iraq, and dare I say: Despises the Protestant occupation of Northern Ireland (just a guess). Some say he might be a leading member of the IRA. Some is just me, actually. A very passionate member who will never meet you in the middle.

TuffStuffMcGruff *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=1206429&postcount=377) Normally a front room fella. Busted in the backroom with this infamous post: [I]...with minimal upkeep a man can have a slender and mildly muscular physique with very attractive qualities. I believe that it takes much less effort for men to look attractive than it does for women to do so. ...lets be honest, most of us love the way we look in the mirror, too. hair is not unattractive and, more often than not women look all lumpy while men stay skinnier. all in all - i believe that there are more attractive men in the world than attractive women Of course he added the caveat: and i am a total heterosexual. To which a collective backroom voice was heard exclaiming "yaaaaaaaaah riiiiiiiiiiiight. Suuuuuuure you are."

Uesugi Kenshin Living in Germany as an exchange student. All around nice guy. Deserves a more fitting description than has been provided so far.

Vladimir: A somewhat anonymous - the avatar is just too black! - backroomer of a slight conservative orientation. Been a consistent Orger for a long time now and is frequently seen enjoying a well deserved beer in the tavern, when he's not lurking in a dark corner of the backroom that is. Likes the Dutch.

Vanya Father of GAH! 'nuff said.

Wakizashi a venerable old soldier of the org, full of useless japanese-like wisdom. A young college student in the United Kingdom and soon-to-be-father of twin girls.

Wasabi *photo* (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=662450&postcount=115) Hot wife of Papewaio.

Watchman: A Senior Member, the honour no doubt bestowed for his historical knowledge and carefully thought analyses found in the Monastery. On his occasional visits to the Backroom, he demonstrates the same intellectual rigour in defense of progressive ideals and Pastafarianism but stamps on shoddy thoughts with a vigour that would make a conservative giggle. Not to be confused with Tribesman, both of whom have similar sounding names, similar liberal ideals, and similar avatars.

Wigferth Ironwall An EB player. He's a strong historian and can hold on his own on a debate. English. From England.

Zain is a young and enthusiastic new member to the Org. His passion lies in religious discusiion and the arcade. Clearly a good kid.

Have I forgotten you? Want to elaborate or challenge my comments here? WELL: WHO ARE YA? Keep in mind that new additions are only accepted when another member is fond enough of you to write a description. An arbitrary rule like that just makes it more fun.

heh, pretty good.

I am now at uni - well finishing the first year anyway - and have been pissing it up for pretty much the whole time, which has been fun. Just finished my exams - avoided those nasty strikes too, go on the lecturers! - so I may well be posting around here a bit more over the lovely, long summer holiday I have. Ah.

And I am far more a Chavez type Socialist than simply an old top down redistributionist Socialist. As Chavez said - “Our project is neither statist nor neoliberal; we want the middle ground, where the invisible hand of the market meets the visible hand of the state – as much state as necessary, and as much market as possible.”

Hippies are no such thing. Divinus- not bad. However, I am equally inspired by all of Nikos Kazantzakis's books; in fact, I have pretty much adopted his religious theories as my own religion. Henry Miller, too- he's another inspiration.

And you forgot to label me as a Hippie. Definitely a Hippie. NOT a Yippie.

What's the difference, you may ask? Simple:

Hippies are easygoing, mellow individuals, commonly philosophical in nature, who may be political extremists, but they don't let that interfere to any real extent in their lives, which are commonly filled with profuse drug use, especially in the psychedelic realm.

Yippies are angry, judgemental individuals who cannot see from any side but theirs, who are dominated by their political ideologies (which are usually qiute petty and ridiculous in the grand scheme), they take far less drugs (generally just pot- they may smoke a lot of this to retain a shallow layer of mellowness), and they are not at all philosophical, except to the extent that they may steal some lines out of a few old books to prove one fo their petty points. They are impossible to get along with, especially for the Hippies. I hate them so much; they give a horrible name to the hippies that are still around. :wall:

Well, that's not exactly what I thought, but you get the point. Then I figured the thread would get closed if I didn't at least post someting. I started with a couple of folks and just had to add a few more until I got tired. And now this?

I shall add anyone to the list who is described by another patron. Self desciptions, aside from petty changes, will not be included. That's just to keep it interesting. :2thumbsup:

I'm glad you guys like the thread. :balloon2:

I'll do some-

A. Saturnus-seemingly left-leaning German Psychologist. He formerly modded the Tavern, which may or may not have permanently damaged his psyche. Has spent time "in exile" in Belgium.

Tosa Inu-Legendary Dutch former admin, preposterously enigmatic and hard-working. Has stepped dowm from the top job to pursue real-life concerns.

Fragony-Wonderfully quirky oddball, from The Netherlands. Loves boats, dislikes immigrants. Is 'Fraggadelic'.

Teutonic Knight-Teenage, conservative Catholic, from Florida. Played an important role in the first iteration of EB. Hasn't been seen for a while.

I think that since this is getting quite popular, we should lay down some rules (with Divinus Arma's blessing).

I have a couple to start with:

1) No posting about yourself - It just ruins the fun. So whine on if you aren't included, and if you are really sad, PM me; I'll feel bad and post one about you. Of course, once you have been included, feel free to point out any changes or corrections.

2) Keep it friendly

3) Keep it short - 5-6 lines max (or whatever Divinus Arma's decides). See if anything has already been said.

I got some additions to some Orgers if I may:

Mount Suribachi: likes the Red Wings. :2thumbsup:

Lemur: has many baby Lemurs that are being reared for world domination.

And new ones for the list:

Csar: rides unicorns into sunsets; a young high schooler; Texan; frequent chat room user; votes Reenk :2thumbsup:; 'Gah' view unknown.

Abokasee: used for experiments; legendary; creative; unique; father of land and language bartix and the religion limbo; started several creative but failed mods; seldomly frequents the Backroom but brings up unique topics like "rent apartment with sex" when he does; 'Gah' view irrelevant.

Zorba is a paranoid marijuana-smoking leftist hippy with a Toyota Corrolla and a disposition toward personal liberty. He hates govn'ment interference into his personal life and is deeply protective of his privacy. He is inspired by the movie "Zorba the Greek". His favorite foods are Macaroni and Cheese and Count Chocula kids cereal. And Nilla Wafers.

:inquisitive: ...Count Chocula? And where did Nilla Wafers come from? Naw, man, my favorite foods are all meat...

Mmmm... burgers... pork chops... baked chicken... I can already taste the pain and suffering of innocent animals... https://img139.imageshack.us/img139/3182/drool6dt.gif

Anyway, as long as I'm here, I guess I should do a couple of other people... but everyone has been done.

Oh, I know- I'll do EB! (Or, at least, a couple of the lead figures.)

Honest.

Alexander the Pretty Good
05-27-2006, 04:28
Red Harvest - no one is quite sure what his name means. Is he a communist? A harvester of communists and/or communist souls? Is he a cranberry farmer? No matter what, he likes Bush just about as much as he like the myriad shortcomings of Rome: Total War - not very much. Hasn't been seen in a while (?).

Crazed Rabbit - doggedly determined conservative and vicious member of the Leporidae family, Crazed looks harmless enough... at first. Appears to be weak against the Holy Hand Grenade and dislikes pompous liberal propaganda.

Gelatinous Cube - angry libertarian who often disagrees with the other libertarians. Comes out solidly against government growth and organized (and probably disorganized) religion. Not seen in a while.

Ice - self-described "moderate Republican," may be one of the last of its species. Or not. "Moderate Republican" is pretty vague, and I don't know where Ice is on most of the issues. But he's gotta be better than a "Moderate Democrat."

stalin - not that Stalin. Opposed to capitalization of his name and war. I think. He's new.

drone - A robot? Another one of those moderates without the flash of DevDave or JAG. A reasonable poster and upstanding member of the Org. Not a backroom addict, but a solid contributor.

Alexander the Pretty Good - Best recognized for the little icon that says he won the Writing Contest this year (!) and therefore by default a writer with potential. One of the more reasonable and effective conservatives of the org, he is looked upon with promise as one of the future stalwards of the Conservative Empire that dominates the Backroom's Right, the unofficial successor of the fallen Conservative Club, destroyed by JAG's famous attack. Though that really depends on him.

Correct me if I'm wrong :P

Duke Malcolm - Formerly known as King Malcolm, we speculate that he changes his name out of loyalty to the true Queen. An ardent Scottish-British Imperialist with strong beliefs in Queen and Country and St. George (?) and of course true metal music, we have seen his efforts to defend the Queen and the Empire in many places and many times. He also shares a certain dislike for the hated Tony Blair.

Also, correct me for any mistaken understanding! And add your football persuasion, too, if you like.

stalin - not that Stalin. Opposed to capitalization of his name and war. I think. He's new.My version, a propaganda version with elaboration appropriate for The Wordy One:

stalin - one of the newcomers of the Backroom, this is the epitomized pinko liberal with a particular hatred for capitalism and USA and other such Rightists, just like he should with a name like that. One of the more active and newest of the evil Leftist conspirators that existed since Vladimir Lenin was a Monarchist. He has much to learn to survive the Backroom's deadly conservative arsenal, however, and we the Left pledge to turn this promising recruit into JAG, minus the spam.

AdrianII: Witty Imperialist (is there any other kind?). Awesome in every sense.

"Whenever I hear the word democracy I reach for my wallet." -AdrianIIDon't forget he's Dutch, and suspected of being the one behind the mask of TosaInu!
__________________________________________________

Now, I don't think anyone knows me enough to describe this enigmatic living God, whose presence in the org is like an infrequent shadow of Iluvatar. ~;) I don't want Divinus and the NSA to come crashing down against my burgeoning Revolution anyway, not until Workers of the World are ready to unite against them capitalist pigs!

Edit: DevDave, your request has been recognized. The price is that you must become a Proletariat faithful for the day.

Panzerjager - The fascist resident of the org, anyone who thinks Kaiser (once upon a time Capo) of Arabia is fascist has never met this guy. A strange contradiction, I'd say. Oh, by the way, he was one of those who rallied against Soly during that funny episode [that this poster thinks is ridiculous, but anyway - this is not a part of the description]

Again, correct the mistakes.

Banquo's Ghost
05-27-2006, 09:52
A few that I think have been left out or not done justice.

Seamus Fermanagh Irish American with a brilliant and incisive mind and almost impossible to argue against in the Monastery. Not a lot easier in the Backroom, even though he has conservative views!

Gelatinous Cube Tough minded libertarian from Eugene in the USA. Every now and again likes to bait people until they froth at the mouth, including his own side, which is endearing. Usually though, a tenacious debater, even if his politics are as mad as a bucket of frogs.

Louis IV the Fat Yes, he's French, but also an Honorary Texan, which is possibly the most bizarre position on the Backroom. He likes rugby union (which is good) and Strike for the South (which is, erm, you know, weird).

Ironside
05-27-2006, 09:55
AdrianII - Dutch journalist that is on the moderate left. Often in duels with Fragony on Dutch immigrant issues. Not always present in the Backroom, he also earned the title of historian in the Monastery for his contributions there. Rumours about that his time here was predetermined and was some kind of journalistic experiment, has gotten stronger by his sudden and long disappearence from the org. His return is greatly appriciated.

I think AdrianII did post something about joining the org was some kind of test or something like that. And those vague memories have a way too high tendency to be true (I don't like memories that consists of something that I heard sometime, somewhere).

bmolsson - Swedish buissnessman ending up in Indonesia. Muslim with two wives although his conversion seems to have more to do with the wives or improved buissness opportunities, than any religious convictions. Infamous for his witty one-liners with a large variation of quality. Haven't been online for a while.

Ichi - Something as unusual as a American left-wing libertarian. Big player of MTW, both SP and MP. Known for the classical Gah! Ichi! Gah! Another member that haven't been active lately.

Any of the oldest members who want to take on some of the legendary members when it comes to the spreading of Gah? (Krasturak (he was the creator of Gah right?) and Vanya) I'm too new for those guys.

Dutch_guy
05-27-2006, 14:39
Ok, I'll play along:

LeftEyeNine: A Turkish guy probably in his twenties, loves to visit the chat and talk about...well ...anything really. Also likes his football, he probably knows every soccer player on professional level, really, his knowledge is immense on that matter.

Spartakus: kind of an anonymous member, doesn't post a lot. If there is ever need for a chat moderator I'd vote for him, in there almost 24-7. Always up for a chat. He's from Norway by the way.

Csar: One of the many Texans at the Org. A frequent poster in the backroom and the frontroom. Sadly that's all I know.

Beirut: Our very own Lumberjack and Frontroom moderator, always keeps the frontroom a happy place and when things get tens he throws in his axe.
Frequently in combination with a witty one-liner.

TinCow: Doesn't really post a lot in the front and backroom, but makes up for that with thought out posts in the Throne Room. A fellow PBMer who never steps down, he's always in it to the end. A guy you can really depend upon.

Drisos: A Dutch member, an avid Shogun player and one who's tireless efforts have made sure the Shogun MP community never floundered. Posts in the frontroom now and then, and of course in the Sword Dojo.

The Stranger: Also a Dutch member, kind of strange at times, but that must run in the family - he's supposed to be Beirut's only son
Isn't here to often at the moment, probably enjoying this''Real Life'' phenomenon, but he used to spam the frontroom on a regular basis.

Okay, that's all I can think of at the moment.

Not slain - bored to death, when I was explaining, in excruciating detail in a chat session, why we should carefully monitor the use of the word 'fart', it being a 4-letter word starting with 'f', and having cross-cultural sensitivity implications on our internationally-based board, not to mention the variance in spelling between US, UK, Oz, Canadian, and other members, some opting for convention, others going for a more anomontepaeic usage, using such varients as 'phart', 'f-f-f-fart', faart, and fLart, all indicating different levels of tonality, wetness, aroma, and flammability, and not even considering the variations introduced if we consider non-english speakers' contribution...

I looked up from my text, and saw that he had typed: "dfghjkllllllllllllllllllllll" , telling me he had fallen asleep again, his forehead resting on the keyboard.

So, I made my move. The rest is history.

Note for Mods:

Since we're discussing the qualities each member brings to this .org, I had an idea.

How about a "Hall-of-fame" thread listing each of the senion members and a brief synopsis centering on how they achieved that status.

Just a thought.

It used to say Senior Member next to my name. However I think my frequent verbal abuse of other patrons seems to have caused a demotion!

Hi all,
As I am kinda' new to the org. I can understand why I might have been missed, but that's OK. I guess I would classify myself as a warrior poet of the old school with a liberal/conservative outlook. I have been known to ride a good horse every now and then, and have been seen weeping during the sentimental scenes at the movies. I find it strange that I lean neither left or right, as my cowboy freinds would tell me that a man who rides a fence ends up with a sore crotch. To this I always respond that I'm only tring to "keep my mind in the middle" which is good advice for a horseman or a soldier. Being apolitical is a survival skill in my sunday school class as well, who are by and large conservative. I enjoy the debates very much, and wish bon chance to all who post here. :duel:

PS: I am also known for frequent editting due to poor typing skills.

I never, never, ever exaggerate.

To set the record straight (or an excuse to reminisce), actually this version of The Org forum has been around since a few months before the turn of the millenium (Oct 2000). I believe the first one was early 2000, before the release of Shogun: TW. It was excellent, but had technical problems (?) by the summer and needed revamping. It must have been the Y2K bug.:frog:

The good thing about that is it would create a sense of notoriety for current and past members. Newer members, as has already been shown here, may be eager to contribute to our fine community more in order to be listed with a bio. We all have a natural desire for simple recognition that we at least breathe.

Even more importantly, it would create a sense of history as Org members come and go. Newer members could look at some history of the older members. Meanwhile older members could reflect back on their time here, remembering some of the madness that has occurred. Like Bartix for example, or Gah, or Devastation Dave getting warned for speaking ebonics for a whole week, or my little "Org Wars" ridiculousness in the watchtower, or Byzantine Prince's silliness and rise to maturity, or the angry little kid who used his sister's account to go around a ban but got her account banned anyway. I've had alot of fun since I joined, and it's good to remember the stuff that really made me stick around. I think that's why I like it here better than TWC. Aside from a staff who keeps amazingly consistent, The Org has alot more personality.

Anyway, whatever. You guys keep me entertained at work. :laugh4: :2thumbsup:

Goodness, No! The Org is a city with many streets and avenues. Just because I frequent the backroom, doesn't mean this thread is only about backroomers (although they are hilarious characters). I would just like to see a significant enough description about a non-backroom main forum community members before I stick 'em up here. The backroomers are just the folks I like the most, all politics aside. Also, I would hope more members would sneak back here and poke their heads in. It took me months before I even learned the backroom even existed!

edit: Btw, the Org has over 14,000 members. If even 10% were "worthy", as you put it, this list could get pretty long and take up quite a bit of time to maintain. ~;) I see you back here often enough though. :2thumbsup:

His return is greatly appriciated.Hahaha, thank you for your mild characterisation of my fuzzy wuzzy Social Democratic bleeding-heart lunacy, Divinus. Your kind words are greatly appreciated as well.
:2thumbsup:

I have not forgotten you guys, not by a long stretch. And I will be back, possibly this summer.

But as with all rumours, there is truth to the one you mention. Yes, I am a journalist which implies that I have an actual real-life Job. Worse, I have an actual Life, complete with Family and Responsibilities. All in all these Coercive Capitals have led me to take time out from the .org and several other forums.

It was not a conscious decision, it more or less happened to me. And it was reinforced by a certain metal fatigue which was nicely pinpointed this week in a column in The Guardian. I couldn't put it any better than the author. It contains a four-letter word which I hope our moderators will gracefully overlook on this occasion since it is part of an educated discourse, I do not intend to repeat it and it is not directed against present .org company in any way.

The internet's perfect for all manner of things, but productive discussion ain't one of them. It provides scant room for debate and infinite opportunities for fruitless point-scoring: the heady combination of perceived anonymity, gestated responses, random heckling and a notional "live audience" quickly conspire to create a "perfect storm" of perpetual bickering.
Stumble in, take umbrage with someone, trade a few blows, and within about two or three exchanges, the subject itself goes out the window. Suddenly you're simply arguing about arguing. Eventually, one side gets bored, comes to its senses, or dies, and the row fizzles out: just another needless belch in the swirling online guffstorm.

But not for long, because online quarrelling is also addictive, in precisely the same way Tetris is addictive. It appeals to the "lab rat" part of your brain; the annoying, irrepressible part that adores repetitive pointlessness and would gleefully make you pop bubblewrap till Doomsday if it ever got its way. An unfortunate few, hooked on the futile thrill of online debate, devote their lives to its cause. They roam the internet, actively seeking out viewpoints they disagree with, or squat on messageboards, whining, needling, sneering, over-analysing each new proclamation - joylessly fiddling, like unhappy gorillas doomed to pick lice from one another's fur for all eternity.

Still, it's not all moan moan moan in NetLand. There's also the occasional puerile splutter to liven things up.

In the debate sparked by my gibberish outpouring, it wasn't long before rival posters began speculating about the size of their opponent's dicks. It led me to wonder - has the world of science ever investigated a casual link between penis size and male political leaning?

I'd theorise that, on the whole, rightwing penises are short and stubby, hence their owners' constant fury. Lefties, on the other hand, are spoiled for length, yet boast no girth whatsoever - which explains their pained confusion. I flit from one camp to the other, of course, which is why mine's so massive it's got a full-size human knee in the middle. And a back. A big man's back.

Anyway, if we must debate things online, we might as well debate that. It's not like we'll ever resolve any of that other bullshit, is it?

Hmm, let me see what I can do with you.

(All information is based solely on the contents of Post #211)

Ronin: A Senior Member, meaning we can't be too brutal about him or otherwise we will be boiled alive. Judging by his join date, name, and avatar he originally came to the Org for STW. Has a Bush lightbulb joke in his signature.

I should stick to descriptions of people I know about. :saint:

By the way, somebody who's older than me **laughs in that particular direction with pointy fingers and funny faces** should do a profile on the ancients like Vanya or Kurando and others. The past in this more-or-less historical forum is all-important!

What he said...

Ok here it comes:

Mithrandir: A ruthless and efficient Main Hall mod, who frequently visits other parts of these fora. Is known for his excessive use of the word ''Camel'', although he seems to have let that time behind him as he doesn't do that anymore. He has been here for quite some time, and 'll probably not leave anytime soon.

That's all I can think of at the moment...

You're all in on it - ALL OF YOU... I've got a letter saying I'm sane - how many can say that??!?!!!!!!

I'm sure that there is a thread that winds through my proclamations that makes sense, and I'd better offer a small prize to anyone that can find it...

Trouble is I can never make up my mind in my own head as to the nature of the world. I simultaneously hold the Views that most people are pretty worthless cannon fodder whilst believing in the freedom of the individual... :wall:

Bedside manner is easy. I like people on a one-on-one. It's just Humanity that gets me down...

Been on hols last 2 weeks. Hope to continue to do my bit to convince British people to go Private, just in case...

Reenk Roink

Reenk Roink: Owner of the coolest name on the Org. He is well-versed in Org lure, citing opinions on Gah and Bartix on many occasions. Also a pretty decent Arcade player. In the Backroom he can be frequently seen arguing with far-right users such as DevastinDave. Is unsure about whether his vote counts.

Hehe, thanks man. :2thumbsup: I certainly agree with the "coolest name on the Org" statement. I have stopped a bit on the Backroom, and right now I'm arguing with the right, but don't worry, the left also gets it from me; I hate free speech as much as I hate freedom. :2thumbsup: My love for Bartix and Gah is strong, even though I've been dubbed 'retarded'. :2thumbsup: I just love funny sounds. :nice:

I got two to add to the list:

GeneralHankerchief: a relative new face on the Backroom, although no stranger to the Org; did an interesting Segesta experiment; writes up great profiles for others; was able to beat my Snow Bomb Battle score and not have me recover it (yet), which is quite an achievement that only Zain can boast of.

Navaros: stands up for morality; a devout Christian who doesn't conform to standard right or left views, but rather takes the view of the Bible; dislikes secularism and animal testing; does not like the direction the Frontroom took ("lack of quality threads").

Ronin - Leader of the Portugese diplomatic mission to Howard Dean and the US Democratic party, he coincidentally hates Bush and most Republicans. Likes long walks on government-subsidized beaches, pina coladas financed by draconian taxes on business, and getting caught in rain.

GeneralHankerchief

Dutch_guy: See Louis VI the Fat. Seriously, another Senior Member so we can't be too hard on him. Seems like he's posted in every single forum, an accomplishment that deserves congratulations. Recently got Mithrandir to say "camels" a zillion times again. Likes the balloon smileys. Has a convenient link to the bartix thread in his sig.

Tiberius: A new guy who mostly looks in the backroom without posting (you said it). RTW player who knows a lot about history, at least enough to hold his own in the Monastery. Frequently welcomes new members.

Hows that for a start?

GeneralHankerchief
06-07-2006, 22:58
Add-on:

Tiberius: After solidly contributing to the Org for his first couple of months, his quantity and quality of posts shot up in late April/early May and has not regressed since. A regular in the "Smart people" forums such as the Monastery and Throne Room, he apparently attends a boarding school. Lucky.

Well I can add the following:

Quid: A long time poster , although you might not get that impression if you compare postcount to joint date, who mostly posts in the Backroom or in the Frontroom. Is known to sometimes passionately defend Swiss issues when they pop up in the front and backroom, why do I say this ? Well let me just say I remember when Switzerland got their place in the WC, and Turkey didn't..
Overall, Quid is a solid contributor to the fora, and being one of the few active Swiss posters has to count for something!
