I am just curious to see how many real men we have on the Org.
PS. Pathetic little fuzzle does not constitute a beard.

This is going to be an interesting thread... :P
I can grow a thin scraggly one under my chin. For this reason I opt to shave it off. Still think I look cool though.
A very nice pun at that. I have attempted to grow it in the past, but usually shave it off in disgust relatively quickly!
Not me, both sides are quite hairless. Balding doesn't run in the family thank goodness!Quote:
I come from a hairy family
I have a nice red beard......which is not the same colour as my hair.....which is in turn not the same colour as my eyebrows.......
I don't have a beard now, but in the winter I often grow one, to shield my face from blustering winds as I ride my motorcycle across the mountain passes. It helps while skiing too.
And if I do say so myself, it can be quite impressive.

I could grow one easy enough, I almost have a permament facial hair shadow due to my facial hair growing thing. I have only grown it to around a 1 cm length (which is a few days - week) otherwise the hair irriates the skin.
Facial hair is the work of the devil.
Me, I even groom my eyebrows, to maintain my suave looks.
Facial hair is for savages. Civilized men prefer to groom themselves, plus the majority of women prefer cleanshaven men
I see we have some jealous hairless youths among us.
Me, not only do i have a beard, but I am capable of growing the most intimidating beard of anyone I know. Of course, I usually keep it fairly close-cropped and neat, but it still cows other men with its presence and hypnotized ladies with the might of its sexual vibrations.
I've had my beard for just about 30 years now. Mrs. Gregoshi likes it and so do I.
I can only grow the fuzzy stuff
I can grow (and usually sport) a respectable mustache & goatee, but that's about it. For whatever reason, my whiskers flatly refuse to exceed a half-inch, so a full beard is out of the question for me.
I can grow a beard thanks to the slav in me I choose not to.
To rest my case, can you grow a beard in the military? No, and only real men join the military. Beards are for hippies, communists, and catamites.*
* why catamite you ask? Well when you throw down a statement like that you gotta throw words like that around.
As well a list of greats with no facial hair.
John wayne
Alexander the great
Julius caesar
Winston churchill
George washington
Nelson mandela
Ghandi
And of course........ ronald reagan
People who did have facial hair
Hitler
Stalin
Fidel castro
Lenin
Rasputin
Not john wayne
I rest my case
:laugh4:
you do realize I'm joking round here..course I know all that; even though I can grow a beard, I still shave it anyways. I personally don't really care, but I do like jabbing people nonetheless. (I suspect you're referring to my post and that of others who expressed similar attitudes-jest or not)
besides, Assyrians were manly, and so was Philip II , and they grew beards :clown:

I believe special operations and navy seals guys can grow beards. :book:
Also, is it a coincidence that America's military had many of its greatest generals when beards were in fashion? Sherman, Ulysses, Lee?
Bah I say to your assertion, a thousand times bah! :furious3:
You say some women prefer it. Do you also hold their purses when you go shopping with them?

I was there during a New Years. The air was so cold, it felt like walking around in a needle-stack of invisible needles.
It was a very odd sensation.
There is a *ahum* huge difference between looking like Rasputin and BEING like Rasputin http://motherboards.infopop.cc/group...putin-cock.jpg
