I don't mean to be rude but that has got to be some of the most superficial and dumbest partner analysis I've seen someone provide on me. Maybe I'm being a bit more tetchy about it because you're insinuating I was going "ho ho ho I didn't see a claim wink wink," which is quite frankly insulting. I even told you that I was five pages behind when you asked a question that day because I'd just gotten home from work. I don't have the kind of job that I can play mafia and work; if I post here and there, it's because I'm posting in between classes or meetings. I was trying to keep up on what was going on at the time while catching up with what I'd missed during the day.

The opening interactions between us is just how we interact. We've been playing with each other off and on since 2012, and the first few times I replaced into a game that sleep was in, he asked me that question, and I in turn ask him that when he replaces into games I'm in. He's a friend; it's just banter and a bit of a way to interact and maybe get the start of a read. I respect sleep's scum game, so it takes me a bit longer to feel comfortable on a read on him. He probably gets annoyed at how often he's quite obviously town, and I'm squinting at him. I definitely didn't have an innocent on him once and still concocted reasons he could be a godfather because I was so paranoid of him, nope nope I did not.

I typically don't try to piss people off in a mafia game. It's just not me; I don't like making games unpleasant, and I try to remember that there's an actual person playing the game and doing their best in most instances. I do get annoyed sometimes and then I can be a real bitch, and I'll probably feel bad about calling your partner analysis of me dumb for the rest of the week. (Unless you're scum and then I'll feel vindicated.) I have been told I'm too nice before, so this isn't the first time I've heard it, it's just that you're wrong about that. This is just me.

I'm also annoyed at the fake claim, which might be fueling my annoyance here with your post. One of the reasons I got fed up with mafia and stopped playing was because of crap like that. I get it, nice to pull the nightkill, but it's just such a waste of town's time to try to make sense of claims when one person is lying. I'm just glad they pulled the nightkill so that it wouldn't be another wasted day of trying to make sense of the claims. I spent the night getting more and more convinced that ender was a scum bp giver because the claims didn't make sense all coming from town.

That being said, I do feel like absolute dead weight this game. My reads suck; I know I'm town reading someone I shouldn't be, but I don't know who. I've thought about it and I really don't know. Maybe it's because I haven't played mafia in a year, or it's the slow game or deadlines or I'm just having a shit game. I don't know, but I've seen the floating suspicion. I get it; it's hard to know what struggling town looks like especially when you don't know the person. I understand, it's cool.

And sorry for calling your partner analysis dumb. If you're town you're doing what you should be doing, and you don't know me, so you wouldn't know how that is just missing the mark. Anyway, I'm going to bed. It's super past my bed time.

If I could ask you to do one thing for me, could you try to run your current reads from most to least townread?

I know you said you townread everyone, but I am just trying to grasp your reads as best I can. Just top of your head "Who do I townread most out of my townreads" kind of deal.

I said yesterday at end of day my two strongest town reads out of the non claimed were Jan and Ladd. I’m not going to do a list; I don’t do lists. My I town read everyone was not quite serious.

Just for the record I expected that response about me being frustrated about the fake claim. I’m not an idiot to think that someone trying out to make a case on me wouldn’t make any that point. It’s how I feel, try to make it look however you want to.

I am fine going today if that makes it easier for town to figure out the game though.

Like if scum!Ender gave a vest to town!Visor which Visor claimed that the thing had been popped. Like Visor in this scenario would have to be the target of a vest AND the mafia night kill which seems like a not such a great play with 1 mafia already down and likely 2 to go.

Or if both Ender/Visor were w/w, it really seems like a complete YOLO move to just fake handing out a vest to your partner to claim that it's been popped, esp since Ender's vest claim is obviously the most provable claim out there.

1. I thought my EOD was quite towny. Also have seen ppl push me for having bad EOD's before and I would argue that EOD is FAR from my worst, postcap kinda made me sweat that EOD though since I literally posted 50 times and I usually like hyperposting EOD and i couldn't really do that :p

- wolves shot visor

- ender gave vest to visor and vest got broken

- syn shot monty


The only viable alternative is that wolves shot monty and visor is claiming his vest got broken to earn lack clear status but..like why would wolves shoot monty there

(also fwiw i think 3 villa PRs is perfectly plausible in a closed 13er)

(Jan saying it can't be broken the same night was just an assumption i believe)

Suibian has some really nice posts and that vote on barto going for them so they are def the last one i'd look at right now out of the rask/sleep/cape/suibian group

We changed hour the day before and I realised it very late, and I just didn't want to vote Wisdom, I liked Cape more for a wolf.

Further more, that's your expectations for my village game, and that's it. Sometimes I have the fire, sometimes I don't. And it's just not an alignment thing.

Anyway, this is going nowhere lmao. THe few people I TR are just wolf reading me so I am not sure who I can speak to. Feel free to maj me and make my life easier rn. idgs.

My theory was the ender both gave the bp vest to him and shot him for townpoints and plausible deniability. I was also suspicious of taffy's doc claim after claiming to doc rask because he was the other pr while scolding people for not recognizing monty was a pr but also not claiming to save him. But taffy's tone changed so much from day one to day two that I thought that seemed weird for a fake claim.

I considered voting Monty, especially after ender's case, but visor wanted to give both rask and monty a day. I almost voted wisdom, but Jan popped in and pointed out something he liked from wisdom, which helped reinforce my earlier thought that wisdom sounded fine. So I went with my earlier thought that I was just going to go ahead and sheep Jan onto Barto.

I did notice that doing that made three wagons tie and was interested to see what would happen as a result of that, and I was a bit confused when a couple minutes to deadline nobody had moved to get rid of the tie. I didn't know if you guys actually liked ties and wanted to see what would happen with the rand.

Jan/Ladd looks possible (food for thought if none of them died by SOD4) to me D1: like a lot of cheap interactions and questions that look like "hey, I will help my partner here". Also the reasonning for voting El Barto just look the same (LHF, placeholder oops didn't come back).

Just to add up on this Ladd, how do you feel about Wisdom voting Sleep alone when about to die? Because like it's just another proof your expectations are just that, expectations, and not a real reason to actually wolf read someone. And you know it.

Anyway, reread D1. Still think Syn is town. Subian lock clear imo. Cape/Kage no posts. Sleep looks OK with good tone and own thoughts but it's not like he had any influence on the flip or willingness to push somewhere outside Syn so like possible

Jan/Ladd are 'could be's. Nothing totally damning but both look like great players (I now for Ladd, Jan sounds like one) so I am not sure what is out of their range at this point. Will continue in a few.

as an aside, i think I have showed this game that I am clearly willing to change reads on a dime (see: how many times i have changed m mind on you lol) so if you are worried i am not gonna change my mind no worries. We have 48 hours and I intend to use them all to read and think

I am afraid that this game which feels competent and mostly fun will be a buzzkill because we find out the wolf-team basically didn't play d1.

Sleep and Cape have good toan going for them, but that is more based on playstyle than anything else.
Hard to see the difference between not really into it villa and wolf in a corner that has mostly given up in Sleeps behavior.

If the bottom 3 do not include 2 wolves then either mech is wrong (which I don't think is true) or there is an actual deep wolf.


I think if ladd is a wolf he is mostly forced to push me into the poe slowly but surely because he just loses a f3 with tammy and myself.
But he doubled down on me as villa today.

I am kind of sad that I didn't see rask panic more about yesterday being v/v wagons with little momentum to change.
That would have been my perspective as v in that position. Both of them voted off wagon and the only person who was not involved in the two main wagons is Taffy.

This would be my clear blindspot this game because several posts that read genuine and nice could technically be a pocket.

But even without any interaction between us, she reads genuine and her d1 vote timing doesn't feel like a bus at all.
