You are one, Asians have no trouble with that. It's not racismn, you just can't become an Asian, you aren't one after all

No one answered my question....
In response to a racist establishment's refusal to serve foreigner, would it be racist to pass myself off as foreinger? And just to make Lars573 happy I would tweak the costume with some Japanese flava so as not to confuse anyone that I was trying to be Korean or Japanese. Not sure how I would do that, maybe dress up as Shogun and say "boo kah kee" over and over again....
Re: Israeli hate on negroes
Anyway,
On a more serious note, there were several places I visited in the Philippines that had subtle service limitations.
I witnessed in a couple of bars where the Korean customers were ignored until they left. I witnessed a couple of bars where a group of north african black men dressed like hollywood gangsters were not only ignored, but when they asked why they were being ignored, the mamassan told them they were trash. I also went to a Korean KTV bar that was rumored to be owned by the Korean mafia, and even though it was staffed by Filipinas, they ignored me and my party for about 30 minutes until I flashed a ROK military patch, but after one drink we left.
The limitations were pretty subtle, as there were no signs. I seriously doubt there would be any recourse unless it was a foreigner mistreating a filipina. To be quite honest, I don't have a problem with a business owner deciding who he will and won't serve.

No, not racist: merely being a bit of a jerk.

Where I live we have a couple of bars that won't serve locals.
It's always difficult to tell what's racist and what's a prejudice against a type - but I do think that refusing to serve someone, and proudly proclaiming not to, is beyond the pale.
Re: Israeli hate on negroes
That's my position too. Although were I a bar-keep or restaurateur, I'd only single out a specific individual who had caused trouble before. That's how I was raised.

I can't answer. BUT I think this is the kind of hypothesis what needs to be tested, Sasha Baron-Cohen style.

I´m a tall blonde Portuguese guy and they treated me well enough both times I went there on business trips.
One day the subject of politics in the "holy land" came up during lunch break, and you could sense the tone would get ugly very fast in that discussion, I found it better to avoid such a subject from then on.....other than that, people like any other on a day-to-day basis.
