Happy to report that the scripts for the first three episodes have been written and all seven of the others are thoroughly planned out! Shooting starts on the beginning of next month! You will be seeing the first previews of Deadlier Warrior within a month!

I gotta say, I was expecting the Nazi vs Vietcong episode to be the cheesiest they've ever done, but it wasn't half as bad as I expected. I guess nothing will ever top IRA vs Taliban for complete retardation.

Rawr, indeed it was. But I suspect neither were fighting at their full potential (otherwise the world could've been destroyed).
Nonetheless, I'd say an old Chuck Norris with hair migrated from his chest to his chin VS the Ghost of Bruce Lee would be an interesting matchup.

I wonder what the raw physical strength of each contestant is? I've seen both Superman and the Hulk pick up and throw tanks around like baseballs.


Long range: Superman heat rays, Hulk picks stuff up and throws it at you (more often than superman)
Medium Range: Superman tornado/ice storm breath, Hulk thunderclap shockwave
Short Range: Superman super punches/kicks, Hulk super punch/kick/smash

Ah, Deadliest Warrior. This show is a total crock. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't try to pass the show off as serious and scientific, but I guess that's SpikeTV for you.

I could go on for hours talking about all the things they've done wrong (like pitting a one-handed battle axe against a freaking ballista, for example), but instead I'll just say I think we're all unanimous in that this show is so undeadly that it's completely fake.

Welp, it looks like the Immortal is going to win over the Celt next week simply by virtue of having a bow. If I'm not mistaken it'll be the forth ancient matchup in a row to be won by the guy with the edge in long-range weapons.

Although I think they're giving the Immortal a scythed chariot (I'm not kidding, look at the Spike website) so maybe it'll even out.

Hulk doesn't really have one. Beyond that he's not invulnerable. He just regenerates really fast, and I'm fairly certain he can regrow lost limbs. But Hulk vs. Superman is a very contentious issue. As when Marvel and DC had their vs. series in the 90's they left several fights up to a vote. Naturally Superman won, and many feel Hulk was forced to job to Superman.

Besides the more interesting prize fights would be Superboy-Prime vs. Sentry

Or Superman vs. the Supernatural version of Michael.

On topic, Spike likes to shaft western Europeans every chance they get. Only twice have Europeans won out against their enemies, and only because in both cases their opponents were laughably ill-equipped for battle. I know everyone falls in love with THE MYSTICAL KATANA but good god...

Because the concept is SOOOOO good, and it is the ONLY one of its type. Just keep hoping for a good one, and keep getting disappointed.
Of course there is also the entertainment value. There is no denying that it is a very entertaining show to watch. That is not what people get mad about though, it is the historical inaccuracy.

I just started watching this show after having told myself i never would.

Some things do leave you going huh but its entertainment and thats how i take it.

The people you guys should be getting mad at about some of the weapons matchups are the "experts" who seem to be the ones that get to pick their sides arsenal.

I just want to where they get the jelly filled dummies at!
