Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
Death is Yonder:
Quote:
Well that's fine and all MRD but you still haven't answered why your life is so precious that you had to ask so many people to save you with maximum credit votes which you yourself denounced.
In case you didn't notice, I was being bandwagoned with healthy bets. Am I supposed to be a martyr for the good of the town with two of my team already dead? How about NO. The gall of you people to turn this around on me.
Quote:
And you obviously had no complains about it, because you got to waste everyone's credits, and now you get to do it again via night actions/the next day's lynch.
Did I make people vote to lynch me? Did I force them? You people want to stick your chests out and not expect me to flex as I go down? As for the townies who voted for me, those credits were not a waste. Very well spent I might say.
Quote:
Moreover all this while when people have questioned you about how you know about the cards and other features, a prime example would be Choxorn's interactions with you via pm which he posted in thread, you deflected the general question and answered only by saying that you inferred from the card set up and stuff (despite you treating your words as if it were a major concession [see choxorn's post]), yet clearly your behavior in thread does not match a person who doesn't really have anything to lose.
Quote:
Which brings us to the next question, why are you lying to people to try and gain their support, to squeeze stuff out of them with false information for your own gain?
Because it is not legal for me to tell the outright truth in PMs. Was I supposed to tell him the truth rather than say "he said that she said that he said?" Do you really expect me to spill the beans to a guy who I have no idea who he is? I picked him and mythmonster based on their posts about the cards, and decided to see if I gace them some "easter eggs" maybe they would tell me what they knew about cards and identities without actually breaking the rules.
You people are exhuasting. How dare you all turn this around on me and act like I made you do this.
The fact is, you suck at being detectives. Let's review last day phase.
1- You gang up on ACIN based on his posting style. ACIN is a young man in school, he practically lives at the .org, and he feels the need to explain his absence. THAT, I would say, is very typical of our young members. A case is made, he gets bandwagoned, then he is shamed in public and he quits in anger after voting for CivPlayah, and people say "oops maybe he is acting like a townie afterall."
2- I make a comment about not getting credits from Civ. I am very much under the radar again, but nonetheless decide to speak while ACIN is getting bandwagoned. About the same time he quits. People start to vote on CivPlayah. As people start to turn on me, the PM from the host comes that says I have no way of knowing if what I am saying is true, and that all he can tell me is I failed. Well, I also lost no credits. So I read the rules again and figured either you don't lose credits on a fail, or the host made a mistake. Then it is clalrified (I think) that I should have lost credits, so it is most likely mistake that credits were not removed, or I gained credits from a bus driver action. NONE OF THIS MATTERS because I am already being attacked by Robbiecon and having entirely too much fun defending myself. So I let it go. I don't mention the PM, and I let the waterfall begin. Besides, no one was believing anything else I said so -- in the end -- nothing I said mattered. This has been proven for the last 2 days. And as much as I would have liked to gey lynched and be exonerated, I was not going to give up as these self-appointed leaders of the town have drawn my ire and I would only go down cursing and screaming.
3-The vote slowly builds. Several late voters come, to include a late public reveal of my PMs to Choxorm. I am almost lynched. Now people say I made them vote against me. Now people say I made some uber deal with my supporters, even though the deal was simply that I would reveal. My reveal is called a lie, everything is my fault, and as usual the self-appointed Kings of Turd Mountain come out and say "aw, we could have folded but we didn't" as if they are now the victims, and they come up with even more theories and plans that implicate people who have nothing to do with me.
This is it. This is where the town loses. The night will be ugly, if I survive I will be lynched, and when I am lynched the town will erupt into a civil war when they realize they have been following con men and inept detectives and so much money and effort was put into lynching a harmless townie. Greed will destroy this place, and I think that's funny, and because I told you so.
I am exhausted.

I highly doubt MRD is cheating.

And from now on last-minute stuff is universally responded against with force by the rest of the town.
No sorry, I'm not gonna start betting more credits just because you want to. I'll wage exactly the amount I think appropriate based on if I think the suspect is guilty and the current tally situation he is in. Just because some townies constantly bet large to lynch townies and end up losing large amounts of their credit doesn't mean the rest of us will be forced to waste our credits just because you think it's fair.
Simply enough, those townies who do not want to vote big, do not get to push lynches early, and as a consequence end up with more credits for the end game where there is actually a much better notion as to who can be guilty and who is innocent, rather than betting big early on on mostly random lynches based on guesses or tangential evidence, and losing their bets (As we have seen so far). I am hoarding credits, and will continue to do so until I have a suspect I deem worthy of risking my credits on them (Obviously, to lynch them and get my credits back).

I cannot take all of this drama. Just this morning I lost a bunch of hair in the hairbrush, and my ulcer had me pooping blood. My mistress has left me for my ex-wife, my utilities got turned off, and my dog has been dead for a week and I didn't even notice. I CANNOT LIVE LIKE THIS.

So you're a Texan infiltrator after all. Sounds like you're working on a bad country song.

Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
If we have someone who wants to take a shot at becoming a vig, and you contact me, I think I might have something in mind. Maybe. Up to you, but contact me if you're curious.

So you're going to murder me then? Cute innocent little old me?

Very well then. Allow me to impress upon you the severe mistake you have made. For days my conduct has been largely benign. And yet, without provocation, you have severed our détante and forced me to unleash upon you the vengeful flames of a thousand suns! You shall curse your mother for the day of your birth...So go now....go, and begin your life of fear, knowing that when you least expect it, the looming sword of Damocles will crash down upon you, cleaving you in twain and as you gaze upon the smoking wreckage that was once your life, you will regret the day you crossed the WRONG BUNNEH!!

I did not say any such thing, if anything in private you were the one attempting to hint at your role because you tried to ask me who I was, but that couldn't be answered by the rules and I did not answer. And you did jump on the MRD bandwagon and quickly hop off.

On second thought, I am a liar, and I love this drama!!!!
This is better than Maury Povich Paternity Tests. This is better than Maury Povich Stop Feeding Your Fat Baby! This is better than Maury Povich My Teen Daughter is Out of Control.
Okay, maybe not the My Teen Daughter is Out of Control with that one, um, smart girl with the red hair anda really, really nice pair of, um, shoes and a MILF for a mom and a GILF for a grandma. But I digress. (And I lied about being a liar)

Wrongo.
Blitzen's got a 3 of Spades. So... you're lying, or mistaken.
And what's more, the real 2 of Clubs was Jerry Seinfeld, a Neutral. So if we want to go by your logic, not only are you lying about being Rudolph (esp. since there is a counterclaim against you), but you are also a neutral role and therefore dangerous to the town.
So what is it? Do we believe the card numbers have significance, and therefore find you to be neutral scum and lynch you?
Or should we believe they have nothing to do with anything, and therefore find you to be just plain old lying scum and lynch you?
The choice is yours, MRD...

Huh? I don't know what you're talking about...
The only important thing going on today was the new mlp episode... which was great... but weirdly interpretable in the lens of that Internet fic where Pinkie kills her friends and bakes them into cupcakes. Much like we're going to do to the Bizarro faction.

Dear God, I leave for a day and this happens. Honestly, this is bloody despicable. All I can tell is that this night will be very, very, interesting.

Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
Hey guys I am back. I took the past 24-30 hours off to cool down, and I am feeling a lot better. I apologize for my behavior and I promise that my personal life won't be intruding into my online mafia personality anymore. After my break from the game I decided I am not going to get mad any longer because I figure it is just a game anyway. I'm gonna stick around and try to have fun like normal.
Now, with that said I came back to this thread with like 3 full pages of the most odd behavior I have seen. Now, I still have not wrapped my head around everything yet, but I do have something that I think should come forward.
I don't know what to make of this, but while I was away approximately 1hr and 30min (I believe the round ended at 11pm my time) before the end of the day round I received this message from MRD titled "thanks guys":

again, thanks, I owe u all
The other people that received this message were Crazed Rabbit, Warman and Thefluffyone.
NOTE: I am not trying to bash MRD and spin him as a chaotic. I simply want this message and info it has brought out into the open because I don't want the burden of responsibility on me if MRD does turn out to be chaotic and I did not say anything. If I didn't post this and MRD is chaotic I would have hurt the town, if MRD is not chaotic, then imo nothing bad will come from this because the "teams" that seem to have formed already have players making clear affiliations.
I will spent tonight (thank god it is friday) filling out my notebook with statements from the past three pages, and I will post again near the end of the night round with my views on what is happening and what I think should be done.
Also, I just want to say I'm extra sorry to Zack for being a complete jerk. It's just a game and you are just playing it.

Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
CHAOTIX: So I was right in the first point. You left out the rest of my post. I have a 2, so I match Jerry not the other deer, which means that like animals dont have matching cards. Thats why I initially said that my match had a nuetral, but then Renata corrected me and said no your maych was the evil deer, and I was like oh yeah. I don't pay attention to details and miss little things. So that blows half my conspiracy out of the water and makes the cards all the more likley insignificant.
But remember, I am not allowed to speculate about cards or it might get me lynched per day 2 and 3.
Furthermore, I am a liar. But I was publicly called a liar over something I did not lie about long before my true lies were made public. So as you all get wrapped around the axel over my fake lies and ignore my true lies, I ask you this: am I lying, and does it matter since you hard heads won't believe me anyway? I didn't start this, you people did.

I never said that I was awesome. You guys implied that I was awesome. I hate to tell you all, but you are correct.
My main suspect is Earthlink and his Butt X-Ray. But that is based soley on his attacks on me. Everyone else I voted was either already dead or it was a self defense vote. I have not called for any murders nor lead any bandwagons, I have simply pointed things out as observations. I responded to accusations with equally RIDONCULOUS counter-accusations. I do not really suspect anyone, because I not only lie, but I don't make the pretense of being the sucky town leader or the sucky town detective. Or should I say DEFECTIVE :ROFLCOPTER
ACIN: the email is nothing. I was thanking people who voted for me. I suppose you may have changed your vote before you pitched a fit and left, but whats funny is that some people (and by People I mean Earthlink) were tyring to say your vote would not count because you quit. I sent you all group emails thanking you for the vote. Big deal, it implicates no one, as it was done after the fact. It was a Thank You note, just like the thank you box of chocolates you send the doctor after a prostate exam.
I do, however, wish you didn't expose the others because they will be blamed as being in cahoots even though the rest only sent me zero emails in return, unless you count fluffy and his gosh darned pictures.

Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
Upon further examination of the entire thread, each post, front to back, beginning to end, I have come to a different conclusion.
First, I have been wrong, and for that I apologize. For the longest time, I thought that I was right. I thought that the destruction of Chaos, the survival of myself and the triumph of my faction was the most important thing in the game. There were good times, there were bad times. I made accusations, people got angry, fights were had, and people were lynched. There were murders and backstabbing, betrayal and teabagging. There were tears along the way.
Earthlink, I am sorry. Robbicorn, I am sorry. Zack,B-Rag, Robocop and Testes, I am sorry.
After I went over the entire game again, I found a terrible mistake. I was not right. I was SUPER RIGHT.
As they say in the hood, TAD-DOW (while slapping their Thang).
Can someone tell me how to load these bullets into this Butt X-Ray?

I tell you what:
I will stop posting in this thread altogether if I could get each person to write a few short sentences about how much they adore Venison Sausage. I happen to know where there is a very large -- and I mean large -- stash of Venison Sausage that is ripe for the taking. It's just hanging there waiting to be devoured. I'm not saying it won't be hard, but it will be rewarding. At least for me.
