(Or maybe admitted isn't quite the right word; he apparently thought it was amusing until I started yelling at him.) Which he essentially admits in the thread afterward (note the mention somewhere or other of the funny little thing he did to Renata). He said he did it in order to give me the impression he had less money than he did, claiming the intention and later the result of having done a full scan on Skooma when all he actually had was information on Skooma's faction.
Earthling is a liar. He always does this, and he always tries to make it your problem, not his.
And that is all I am going to say. I've been down this road with him too many times to do it again. I just don't need the stress anymore. You're on your own, Earthling.
Ah sorry, I misinterpreted it. Nevertheless, why he did that is still quite unexplained. If the reason is: he lies and fabricates false counter-claims because that's what he does or he lied because he hated MRD for some out of game reason and wanted him dead out of spite so much that he claimed the role MRD had just to make sure he was lynched out of spite, then he is no use to town even as a townie. If he counter-claimed intentionally to kill off MRD then it is incredible foul play. Earthling is basically a great asset of the Mafia, intentionally confusing the town with his continued lies. As such, I won't be too upset if he turns out townie, since he hasn't helped us one bit.

Since I'm to lazy to sort though everything can someone sum up to me why MRD is being bangwagon aganist?

Because people like him less than they like Earthing.

Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
10 hour shift today. I still have to process your orders, and I owe you a writeup from before.
As such, please accept my apologies as I request a 24 hour extension to this night phase. Feel free to send in orders, some of you are missing.
-
Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
I'm fine with you not doing a write-up from last day if it means less work for you and a faster turn.
-
Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
I second this motion (Jolt's, that is).
-
Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
Quality over quantity gentlemen.
Hopefully everyone who wants to can get their orders in now. The game becomes more fun if no one is disappointed in themselves because they forgot or was hindered in some way from doing what they could've.
It's a little sad though, I was looking forward to the next lynch.

Oh I agree, it's an awful lot less fun when the host purposefully decides to resurrect your dead allies into new, possibly scummy roles and screw over your plans with no forewarning.

It's an awful lot less fun on the game host when players break the rules, drop out without warning, don't send in orders, and/or complain constantly about something which the game host informed you he would explain after the game is over.
But you know what? I keep on truckin'.

That's not a nice thing to say about the game host. (If there was a disgust smiley, consider it placed here.)

What plans and what allies? You shouldn't know who they are anyway, so it wouldn't have mattered because they might have been scum anyway. :dizzy2: Complete misnomer.

I asked specifically if you wanted me barred from talking about this and you did not say I couldn't. It's a very valid and probably useful strategy for the town to consider to pressure or wipe out the resurrected replacement people on principle, because replaced players are often scum roles.

I never make it a rule that people can't complain about my games or voice their concerns. But, when I state that I'll address them when the game is over, and that I've already heard their concern, that means I'm done hearing about it. If when the game is over, my reasoning fails to satisfy, then I'll accept whatever criticism comes my way. And not until then.

Daggers? From the anus? Sounds painful. Still, better out than in, I always say.

Depends which it's inserted I guess. Though pulling it out may become difficult, but perhaps thats the point.

Indeed. If, for example, the dagger was embedded in your skull, removing it from the anus would be a lot more trouble than it is worth.

Sure, you can go count how often it occurs in previous games and you'll see that replacements are far more likely to be scum than a random player otherwise. It's at least double the ratio in about the last 10 or so games I've been in - and this adds up even more accurately in games with active WoG policies, if somebody is clearly inactive and doesn't get WoG'd they are also much likely scum. Plus there's the clear fact that, say, civplayah who was an inactive Innocent in danger of being lynched was deliberately not replaced and was lynched after all helplessly. Yet there is supposedly some reason the others were, don't know about ACIN but he actually showed back up rather than being replaced. That's real advice to the town even if you waste your time trying to lynch me, you should look at the replaced people.
Plus it was implied that the replacements so far were meant to help balance something among the factions/evil-chaotic balance. But that can't really be proven if the host didn't have more to say in public - I did say ask ATPG before that it should be made clear that none of the official "reserve" players are actually available and the host should make everyone aware of that out of fairness but still, can't make that happen in thread. And since my Python team is still screwed by it no matter what I don't think I could see how it adds up if at all till the end either.

No, I meant Andres' game Daggers in the Night where I was a replacement and also a vampire, fameously. It has special value in the case of Earthling, who is the "DE is a vampire" master.

Omg, just end this night phase already so we can start the next day phase as soon as possible. I'm tired of seeing the same 3 names on every post on every page.
