@Csargo: Good lord, why? If he knew who the reviver was all this time, then I don't think so.
How would he know that Renata was a reviver? She would have had to of revealed that to him, but she obviously wouldn't do that with the amount of suspicion that has been on him. Smells fishy to me.

you know what I'm talking about, also because I hate freedom
Interesting, the rules do state that private reveals aren't allowed. How does one gain knowledge of who the reviver is?
A good question. YLC? or pever?
I still say that Thermal is squirming a bit hard -- usually a sign of someone who has a lot to lose -- but that doesn't mean he's mafia.
*sighs* Whichever, do it, be done with it, let us move on. You've all wanted my head since day one, take it. I've done nothing but try to organize this town, and suddenly, I get infiltrated, or at least it feels like it, and everything goes to blokksberg.
I wasn't aware of that rule either.
NO RULES WERE BROKEN. Neither I, nor Renata, broke any rules. Pever would have already alerted me to it if we did.
vote: Thermal If it still is a day phase saving yourself in that manner is scummy to say the least.
Alright, a level head in this - people, maybe we should pull up a tie, and demand the day killers identity. We still have the doctor role, your not going to die, and when you communicate with us instead of going against us, then we can double our efforts.
OR, you can just let Thermal, or another innocent die.
No pressure.
A mid-day murder? sounds like a one-shot ability to me. More so if she was the resurrector.
Vote: Yaropolk
You may not privately reveal. I am not aware of anyone doing this. You may, however reveal to your starting groups, or groups you are placed in. (ie Mafia are allowed to privately reveal to each other, the groups of more than one person are as well etc)
Correct, to my knowledge no rules have been broken. However, quite a few people are toeing the line, but I'm watching them and they are erring on the side of caution so I am happy. Those that are, are in relatively constant conversation with me, so I know whats going on. However, I can't see every PM so a degree of trust is on you players.
Oh please, have a tie. Keep having ties.
ATPG/others that played Fight for Inishmore! care to inform those that didn't what happens on the second and third ties?
Edit: this shouldnt be here. :laugh4:
So you did resurrect me again, Renata? It's just that you just weren't allowed to tell me that you had this time around...
Since YLC seems to have the inside line on this, I guess it'll have to be unvote; vote: Thermal Mercury.
I wish people would stay up to date with whats happening, I thought I might actually have a chance of not being destroyed this round, and then a bunch of people that have probably read 2 posts at the top of the page bash in the nail to the coffin which was beginning to loosen.
I can barely breathe in here and don't like the idea of soil caving in on me.
Zack shows up after being poked, doesn't vote, just does an FoS.
If you weren't going to go with a Thermal or a YLC lynch, then you could go with Zack, who was our original suspect for this round. I don't want to do it if it will result in a tie, however, so you might rally some support for the Zack lynch and then we'll see where things stand.
I think there may simply be people engaged in the other game more, which I admit I'm guilty of.
I'm guessing I'm one of the few that is enjoying this more so then (or at least was enjoying, anyway).
I'm enjoying it, but with 4-5 scums remaining and what appears to be at least one cult, among other bizarre roles, it's tough to make sense of things. I also tend think there's more going on behind the scenes than in front.
With that many strange roles, I think certain people are keeping their head low and trying to keep their intentions and movements private. And then you have baffled basic townies on top of it, probably nothing more than recruitment fodder for this game.
I for one think that Renata's death screams more of trying to divert attention from someone other than TM. Such as, say, vote: Zach.
Okay :laugh4:
You're the guy sending the most scummy vibes in the game.
:beam:
Mind if I ask, what's the deal with me, besides semi-activity?
Ugh, you figured me out!
No, wait, I'm busy in all the three games - and the two NESes - I'm playing. Not working.
Why is it everyone agrees with this?
Read Renata's death, and then read Thermal's post.
To me, it looks as if Thermal is saying something like this; "If I could kill someone now, it'd be RR". Focus on 1: IF, and 2: It'd be RR. Not Renata. Even if he could kill Renata, he'd be an idiot to crosspost a post that said "if I could kill..." with the writeup of his target dying.
People need to regain their senses, leave Thermal alone and vote: YLC.
I know I'm siding with the prime suspect. I know what light it puts me in. I'm just doing what I can that we don't waste this lynch...
Man this is confusing. From what I can gather, TM seems to be a decent lynch. And mind you, TM, I have read the whole thread till this point.
I don't think the suspicions about YLC are justified. Though I don't think he is necessarily pro-town, the manson role could be rather neutral, it seems he has sided with the town at this point.
Also about the tie business, why would the killer out himself? Also I don't think it's possible to protect someone during the day, which I think has been suggested.
I can't say much about the other suspects, so that leaves me with Vote: Thermal Mercury.
The evidence against TM is too good to ignore. He was (as far as I can tell) leading in the votes prior to the kill of Renata. He was online regularly before the kill, which fits if it's an instantaneous action (which is what I believe it was). Killing Renata also removed one of his main accusers and got rid of a vote on him. Too obvious? Possibly, but I see no better suspect and that was not a pro-town action.
Unvote; Vote: TM
I make the count thus:

--- do you confirm this pever'?
Thermal, I had thought about a tie with Zach, and Zach is certainliy lurking without adding anything, but my vote will remain. Why? I'm now convinced you're not only a role player but a badd'un.
As I was scanning through, I noticed you posting in response to Renata:
"and the gang?" A verbal slip there, I think. Gang implies some kind of organized group. Yet how could Renata have been part of such a group? And how could you have known?Quote:

It is possible that you didn't day kill her or finger her for the person who did -- I'll grant that -- but between your squirming and the above point that I just put together, I have no problem watching your avatar go down to a little Inishmoran justice.
I make my vote tally as the day ends, so I'll confirm it as the round ends .
Vote: Thermal Mercury
There's a pretty strong case against you.
Posting and voting contributes to the case against me that I'm lurking?
I'm seeing it as pretty much a null tell. If it were a game with no post-death activity, then you'd have had a strong motive to get rid of me and any non-you mafia a pretty decent motive to let me live, in order to pursue the case. Since there is post-death activity, the incentives shift back towards neutral. You might kill me if you saw my accusations as enough of a threat, knowing I'd have much less influence dead (not to mention the lack of vote), but the frame also becomes much more viable, since I'd still be around to whine about you.
In short: I'm ignoring it.
Wait what I'm dead? Noooooooooo.
pevergreen was both pleased and displeased.
"Finally, a clear choice. Thermal Mercury, you are to be escorted to prison and remain there until this crisis is over. Also, you'll have to be dressed in this lovely new prison uniform."
Thermal looked at it and sighed.
"Yellow. Why'd it have to be yellow? I hate yellow. They always make us yellow!"
With that, and a shake of his head, Thermal Mercury was sent to prison.
pevergreen was not done, however.
"slashandburn"
S&B stepped forward.
"You have not made a single vote over the last 5 days. This is unacceptable, and I'm sorry, but I must have you killed. I hope you understand."
"Before I do this, however, I have some others to warn. The following people are not participating enough. I do not require much, a single vote in three out of four days.

Hey. That's not very nice pever. I was about to vote and you close the round.
Thoughts, Zack is lurking almost as hard as I am. And that my friends is some major lurkage.
Buddy!
The votes close at midnight our time. The phases have somehow managed to end at midnight every single time. Thats...like over a week of the phase ending at the same time. If you were going to vote at quarter past...
Pretty easy for you to remember. Midnight is an easy deadline. :laugh4:
So Thermal got lynched and Reneta is dead now? Perhaps Thermal was the killer?
Pever, you still have me as alive. Could you correct that, please? Thanks.
:laugh4:
Thats what I get for quoting the wrong post. :laugh4:

It may be going on deaf ears, or the idea is already there and I'm just not seeing it, but here it is and I'll leave you guys to it and get back to hosting.
Good job guys
You should stop talking down to people; I didn't skim the thread, I read it all the way through. I know the quote was sarcasm. And Thermal's post, you can think what you want but I think him innocent.
I hate people talking down to me. If you wanted to convince me not to vote for you, you should try actually appealing to me instead of acting all insulted.
My vote'll be back on you tomorrow unless your mason partners can clear you.
That is because in my mind at least true people in wog territory are not likely to be mafia as it is cutting it a bit fine at this point and any of them that suddenly come back they will be lynched. What is more supicious are the people who are staying just above that line doing enough not to be wogged but not really adding anything to the discussion.
@Secura, someone is going to get lynched every round, so if you don't like the lynch candidates, suggest an alternative. Only the dead have the luxury of not voting.
Possibly made the biggest mistake in the last year. Good times.
Writeup starting now
It all crashed, blah blah blah as did my post here after the board came back up.
Will post wirteup when i wake up, dayphase will be a longer one.
Two things before the night writeup happens. I missed an action last night (Night 4). I am terribly sorry to all those involved, so this is taking place before the current actions.
TinCow was sitting in his favourite chair, drinking his favourite wine. After a long hard day of discussion, it was nice to relax.
He sighed contently but fell out of his chair when he heard a voice.
"And how do you feel about that?"
No...no...it couldn't be...he made sure they couldn't get in! Please, he begged, let it be anything but a shrink!
A man walked into the living room holding a notepad and looking around. "TinCow my friend, how does this all make you feel?"
TinCow couldn't take it anymore, he took out his hidden revovler and shot himself.
Alright, that concludes what I missed. Due to my mistake, I'm making this public: TinCow was targeted in a kill tonight that would have gone through, so either way TC would be dead. Due to my mistake, the submitted night action can't take place, so I am awarding a make up action to take place tomorrow night.
On to the Night 5 writeup:
A man was standing on the beach, simply looking out at the sea. He waited all night, but no one approached him, as everyone that went past avoided a lone man drinking on the beach.
YLC was restless... it was another night with no sleep. He simply gave up and decided to go do some chores. At least the house would be clean, and maybe he would get tired, he thought to himself. But after scrubbing all his walls with ammonia, he needed to step out for some fresh air. But he wasn't getting tired, he was getting hungry. So he grabbed his propane grill and decided to throw some steaks and shrimp over the clean-burning flame. Standing outside in just his boxer briefs, he was too focused on the glow of the fire to hear the footsteps of the two men in dark suits and fedoras walking up the drive behind him. Just as the steaks and the shrimp were ready, the men in suits opened fire, pumping YLC's body full of hot lead. YLC gripped the edge of the grill and with the last of his strength, he shoved one of the steaks in his mouth, and savored the sweet flavor in his final moments. One of the two men fired at the propane tank, and the explosion killed YLC instantly and burned his body to a crisp. They nodded to each other, and without saying a word, they left the scene in opposite directions.
Diamondeye was curious as a child, the two psychologists noted. He would always be climbing trees and turning over rocks, and trying new foods. He was also quite vulnerable to suggestion, to a fault it seemed. So they brought him into their office and they placed several objects in front of him, with instructions. The first was a bran muffin, with a note that said "taste me", and so Diamondeye picked it up and took a nibble. The next was a plush pokemon toy, with a note that said "squeeze me" and Diamondeye picked it up and squeezed it. The two psychologists took careful notes. The next was a slice of swiss cheese, which said "smell me" and Diamondeye picked it up and he sniffed it. The two psychologists just observed quietly. Next, there was an assortment of razorblades on the table, with a note that said "eat me". Without any hesitation, Diamondeye grabbed the razors and stuffed them down his throat. He didn't get to the next item on the table, which was a pile of jelly beans, and a note that said "shave with me". It was too late before the psychologists realized they had switched the signs by mistake.
A man was in the middle of the dance floor, talking and busting some moves. The person he was talking to became his friend over the course of the night and they left the venue with a handshake and these parting words,
"Oi, I'll see you round bru!"

Dead Vote: Secura
I'd like to bring attention to the fact that, the following people have been working with me - Secura, Renata, TinCow, and Methos. We have been systematically targeted and killed, and the only living member left of us is Secura. Have fun in mafia scum :daisy:, you town traitor.
And Pever, my action should have gone through, or did you just conveniently ignore my PM? Sorry, not the best of moods.
You're going to be eating a significant amount of humble pie when it transpires that isn't true, YLC... count on it, treacle.
Prove me wrong then - how is it that we are, literally, systematically killed off, one by one, on consecutive nights, and they GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO KILL US. This isn't random, someone HAD to know who we are, and you are the only one left. Unless you have a better explanation, like who actually did it, I am not calling this crusade off.
How can I prove you wrong, YLC? I can't point you even halfway in the right direction because I know **** all about the game even now.
The only way to prove my innocence is when the game concludes, whereby the mafia will be able to tell you the truth, namely that I had nothing to do with everyone's deaths. I'll gracefully accept the lynch now, and in turn you apologise when the truth comes out at the end of the game?
Does that sound fair?
vote: Secura
It's not fair and don't vote for yourself. None of this was fair, and I am not going to apologize - this is a game, and I am playing. Part of playing it is following my nose, and it lead me right to you. You are the only loose end Secura, and whether you acknowledge it or not, 4 pro-town power role deaths in a row does nothing to prove your innocence, nor does claiming I'm going to eat "humble pie".
I want the apology in public, by the way, right here in-thread.
I counted you as allies, YLC, even after being turned back to vanilla and being informed by the host that I wasn't supposed to collaborate with you all if I wasn't aligned with you.
You see, I may be a great many things, but I'm not a backstabber... and if that makes me a poor mafia player, than so be it; I would rather keep my moral integrity than screw someone over to win a game.
...alright fine. You're not guilty - plea to a person rather then a player. I'll hold you to that. My efforts have just been systematically destroyed in my attempt to help the town. No one has come foward to publicly denounce me as anything, so thus it is the mafia's doing. Apparently though I had made someone, very, very paraniod.
To bad they think death is going to stop me.
Good, I'm glad you'll hold me to that; maybe when the game's over and the truth is out, I can laugh about these accusations rather than being offended.
As it stands currently, I don't have any suspects to vote for; what has Charmander done, Thermal?
Seems to be fixed
Ok, deleting.
Rules for the dead:
You are free to continue discussing as you would normally in and outside of the thread, with the condition that you do not reveal anything private you may have known while alive. (So no post death public reveals of role, or even private reveals)
You may not vote for anyone, even as a joke. If I see a dead person make a vote, even if in massive font with silly faces, I will 'ask' that person to refrain from posting in the thread again.
Due to the unsporting nature of the reveal, if it was a reveal, I have a sporting solution to the problem.
I have rolled a six-sided die and I will wait that many rounds before I vote for Charmander. That gives him some time to explain himself if the illegal reveal was fake, and still guarantees I'm voting for him later on.
In the meantime I will meet any vote he places on someone with great suspicion. He can direct my attention to certain players, but I probably won't vote for whoever he votes for. That's the best I can do.
In the meantime, Greyblades, more activity please. (I'm not going to participate in a round with no discussion and 15 votes on Charmander, sorry.)
Vote: Greyblades
Well I looked at the rules and only interpreted it as not being allowed to reveal role pm's, eternally sorry.
Message to players:
Don't listen to my posts, they speak rubbish. I'm not just saying that because of what pevergreen said, I was playing dirty tactics in the first place.
I worked all day today and I'm tired and don't feel like doing anything. I doubt I will be on again before the phase ends so I'll Vote:Abstain. Aww, I r hate u so much right now pever.
Vote:Warman
If you were townie then there's some reason you said what you said. Then again, if you weren't, there's also a reason why you said what you said.
Something is up with Charmander, I can't un-learn that. The only thing I have is a strategy to hedge my bet. If you're a dirty scum outing another dirty scum, then scum needs to die. If you're outing a pro-town role, this gives him some time. If you're a townie outing a scum, then scum needs to die. This delayed vote is the best solution I have to your move.
