A good question. YLC? or pever?
I still say that Thermal is squirming a bit hard -- usually a sign of someone who has a lot to lose -- but that doesn't mean he's mafia.

*sighs* Whichever, do it, be done with it, let us move on. You've all wanted my head since day one, take it. I've done nothing but try to organize this town, and suddenly, I get infiltrated, or at least it feels like it, and everything goes to blokksberg.

I wasn't aware of that rule either.

NO RULES WERE BROKEN. Neither I, nor Renata, broke any rules. Pever would have already alerted me to it if we did.
Alright, a level head in this - people, maybe we should pull up a tie, and demand the day killers identity. We still have the doctor role, your not going to die, and when you communicate with us instead of going against us, then we can double our efforts.
OR, you can just let Thermal, or another innocent die.
No pressure.
A mid-day murder? sounds like a one-shot ability to me. More so if she was the resurrector.
Vote: Yaropolk
You may not privately reveal. I am not aware of anyone doing this. You may, however reveal to your starting groups, or groups you are placed in. (ie Mafia are allowed to privately reveal to each other, the groups of more than one person are as well etc)
Correct, to my knowledge no rules have been broken. However, quite a few people are toeing the line, but I'm watching them and they are erring on the side of caution so I am happy. Those that are, are in relatively constant conversation with me, so I know whats going on. However, I can't see every PM so a degree of trust is on you players.
Oh please, have a tie. Keep having ties.
ATPG/others that played Fight for Inishmore! care to inform those that didn't what happens on the second and third ties?![]()
So you did resurrect me again, Renata? It's just that you just weren't allowed to tell me that you had this time around...
Since YLC seems to have the inside line on this, I guess it'll have to be unvote; vote: Thermal Mercury.
I wish people would stay up to date with whats happening, I thought I might actually have a chance of not being destroyed this round, and then a bunch of people that have probably read 2 posts at the top of the page bash in the nail to the coffin which was beginning to loosen.
I can barely breathe in here and don't like the idea of soil caving in on me.![]()
Zack shows up after being poked, doesn't vote, just does an FoS.
If you weren't going to go with a Thermal or a YLC lynch, then you could go with Zack, who was our original suspect for this round. I don't want to do it if it will result in a tie, however, so you might rally some support for the Zack lynch and then we'll see where things stand.
I think there may simply be people engaged in the other game more, which I admit I'm guilty of.

I'm guessing I'm one of the few that is enjoying this more so then (or at least was enjoying, anyway).
I'm enjoying it, but with 4-5 scums remaining and what appears to be at least one cult, among other bizarre roles, it's tough to make sense of things. I also tend think there's more going on behind the scenes than in front.
With that many strange roles, I think certain people are keeping their head low and trying to keep their intentions and movements private. And then you have baffled basic townies on top of it, probably nothing more than recruitment fodder for this game.

I for one think that Renata's death screams more of trying to divert attention from someone other than TM. Such as, say, vote: Zach.
Okay
You're the guy sending the most scummy vibes in the game.
Mind if I ask, what's the deal with me, besides semi-activity?
Ugh, you figured me out!
No, wait, I'm busy in all the three games - and the two NESes - I'm playing. Not working.
Why is it everyone agrees with this?
Read Renata's death, and then read Thermal's post.
To me, it looks as if Thermal is saying something like this; "If I could kill someone now, it'd be RR". Focus on 1: IF, and 2: It'd be RR. Not Renata. Even if he could kill Renata, he'd be an idiot to crosspost a post that said "if I could kill..." with the writeup of his target dying.
People need to regain their senses, leave Thermal alone and vote: YLC.
I know I'm siding with the prime suspect. I know what light it puts me in. I'm just doing what I can that we don't waste this lynch...
If God is great, and if God is good, why can't he change the hearts of men?"

Man this is confusing. From what I can gather, TM seems to be a decent lynch. And mind you, TM, I have read the whole thread till this point.
I don't think the suspicions about YLC are justified. Though I don't think he is necessarily pro-town, the manson role could be rather neutral, it seems he has sided with the town at this point.
Also about the tie business, why would the killer out himself? Also I don't think it's possible to protect someone during the day, which I think has been suggested.
I can't say much about the other suspects, so that leaves me with Vote: Thermal Mercury.

The evidence against TM is too good to ignore. He was (as far as I can tell) leading in the votes prior to the kill of Renata. He was online regularly before the kill, which fits if it's an instantaneous action (which is what I believe it was). Killing Renata also removed one of his main accusers and got rid of a vote on him. Too obvious? Possibly, but I see no better suspect and that was not a pro-town action.
Unvote; Vote: TM
I make the count thus:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
--- do you confirm this pever'?
Thermal, I had thought about a tie with Zach, and Zach is certainliy lurking without adding anything, but my vote will remain. Why? I'm now convinced you're not only a role player but a badd'un.
As I was scanning through, I noticed you posting in response to Renata:
"and the gang?" A verbal slip there, I think. Gang implies some kind of organized group. Yet how could Renata have been part of such a group? And how could you have known?Originally Posted by Thermal Mercury in post #548
Split questioned the legality of YLC knowing Renata was a resurrectionist in post #522 or so. pevergreen did confirm that no rules had been broken and that reveals within a game faction group were legal until post #582. Yet you had her fingered as part of a "gang" much earlier.....Would you care to name your source sir? I know we'd enjoy giving you company in your jail cell....
It is possible that you didn't day kill her or finger her for the person who did -- I'll grant that -- but between your squirming and the above point that I just put together, I have no problem watching your avatar go down to a little Inishmoran justice.

There's a pretty strong case against you.
Posting and voting contributes to the case against me that I'm lurking?
