Come in my balloon kids, I have something I want to show you!!!
https://i205.photobucket.com/albums/...c/img_0019.png
Imaginationland: The Small Mafia game
Butters: WOW Neato!
Mayor of Imaginationland: That's right! Imaginationland is the place where all the fictional things that people have ever imagined live together! Look, there's a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, and Count Chocula, and the Lollipop King! And Snarf from Thundercats!
Snarf: Snarf, Snarf Snarf Snarfy Snarf! Welcome to Imaginationland, Snarf Snarf!
Butters: This is unbelievable! But I have to make sure I get back home before dinner, or else my parents are going to ground me.
Snarf: Snarf, Snarf Snarf but we don't want you to leave, snarf snarf.
Mayor of Imaginationland: Look, there's a chocolate fountain, and a gingerbread house, and a statue of Captain Crunch!
Snarf: Snarf Snarf Snarf Snarf!
Butters: Aw gee whiz Snarf, could you maybe like shut up for five minutes?
Mayor of Imaginationland: So did you see the leprechaun? Did he have any news?
Butters: Yeah, he said there were these terrorists and they were going to attack Imaginationland and open up the Barrier that divides the good part of Imaginationland from the bad, and then all the nightmarish evil things people have thought up over the years are going to escape, and cause our imaginations to run wild.
Mayor of Imaginationland: Oh no!
Butters: Yeah, I'm here to make sure we keep our imaginations under control.
Mayor of Imaginationland: Look, I see them... they've got Rockety Rocket, and they're going to blow up the barrier!
Terrorists: *ululating*
Small game: 17 players.
- 3 Mafiosi, 2 murders per night.
- Mafia have cover roles
- Townies are mostly vanilla

in in in in IN!
please, if its already full then sing me up as a replacment.

Re: South Park: Imaginationland [Sign ups]
Sign ups are full. Give me a couple days to design the role PMs and send them out. You caught me in the middle of my work week, but I will be able to get things moving.
Due to the number of murders per night, this game will be reasonably short. Due to the fact that I am working so much, with a schedule that changes, what happens is that voting will end by a certain time, and no votes past that point will be accepted. Assume the lead candidate is lynched and send in night actions, if any.
Night will continue until I show up, which is approximately whenever I feel like on the deadline or several hours afterward, factoring in work and sleep.
Game will begin ASAP, so watch this thread like a hawk. When you get your role PM, the game is about to begin.
Didn't get a chance to sign up in time? JOIN MARIOKART MADNESS down at totalwar center!
-
Re: South Park: Imaginationland [Sign ups]
Game is finally ready to go, but I just got called in to work early.
I will write and send out role PMs when I get back home. See you in about 8 hours.
-
Re: South Park: Imaginationland [Sign ups]
I'll be a reserve if it's too late to join. I tend to miss things while meandering through the forum. I feel sad now...
-
Re: South Park: Imaginationland [Sign ups]
Glenn appears to be banned, so classical_hero is in as a replacement for Glenn. Role PMs almost all sent out.
-
Re: South Park: Imaginationland [Sign ups]
GAME RULES
1. The game does not involve any bizarre rules, such as:
- The game host (Askthepizzaguy) being a player/lynchable
- unknown players being able to participate
- inverted win conditions (such as death being victory, or don't lynch anyone results in victory)
so this is not a gag or gimmick game.
2. Minimum level of participation:
- If you do not vote three rounds in a row, you will be replaced by God. This can be averted under extenuating circumstances by contacting me and letting me know why you will be inactive and when you will be back. I may still be forced to replace you temporarily.
3. Voting procedure:
- If you wish to vote to lynch someone, post Vote: Askthepizzaguy
- If you wish to vote for someone new, post Unvote, vote: Sasaki Kojiro
- If you do not BOLD your vote, it does not count.
- If you do not unvote your previous vote, your new vote does not count.
- If you edit a post with your vote in it, the vote still counts.
- However, if you edit your post to change your vote, you WILL be removed from the game. Do not edit your votes. Make a new post. You can edit other parts of your post, but not the vote part.
4. Role revealing
- You may reveal your role and even quote your role PM, not that it will do you much good. Cover roles are provided for the scums.
5. Private communication
- Private communication is allowed.
6. Illegal moves:
- Do not intentionally mess with the vote tally. I will warn you the first time, then ban you. (Don't worry about making tallies for me, I will do my own count. You can do an unofficial tally for yourselves.)
- Do not reveal information that is not publicly available after you die. Your actions during the night phases, other people's actions, your role, your role PM, communications from the game host, even things you heard as a rumor privately... don't talk about them, don't confirm them when others say them. If you speak after death, you may only refer to IN-THREAD information.
- No screenshots may be used, from or to anyone, for ANY purpose – this includes during PMs. Feel free to quote from player's PMs to you or to fabricate as you see fit.
- "Suicide" will not be allowed in this game (it is possible to create an unplayable game with nothing but suicide pact challenges going on. This is not the intended mode of play for this game). Players who must remove themselves from play for schedule reasons should send me a PM. I will then write them out of play.
7. I reserve the right to amend these rules and your role at any time. However, I won't do that unless absolutely necessary, and I don't feel that it is necessary at this time.
8. Sportsmanship, player etiquette, having fun:
- This is just a game. If you win, you don't win anything, and no matter how awesome you are, you did not win based solely on your own actions. Random chance, and other player decisions, are what influence the outcome more than your awesome skills.
- Don't take it too seriously. This may be the internet, but this game is not SERIOUS BUSINESS.
- Breaking the rules, however, is SERIOUS BUSINESS.
- Don't hate anyone for accusing you.
- Don't do personal attacks. You can criticize strategy or suggest people are guilty. Don't call them dumb, or anything similar.
- Avoid profanity and stay within forum rules. I expect you've read the rules when you joined the forum, and the rules are posted plainly here and especially in the gameroom itself (Read this before playing...)
Finally, Have fun.
Edit: Addendum-
Day phases will be 24 hours long, and you may vote until the deadline. I may not be present at the deadline, so game will be on hold until I can do a lynch writeup.
Night phases will be 24 hours long, and you may send in orders until the deadline. I will also accept late orders until I am home and prepared to move the game along. Don't risk your orders not being counted.

Darth Vader: "Hello children. The barrier between the good side and the bad side of Imaginationland has fallen. Now, the good characters are mostly fortified inside Castle Sunshine, where the forces of evil are massing outside to prepare for the final battle. But, before the battle, a number of good imaginary characters have been killed.... from inside the castle. Someone or something has managed to sneak inside Castle Sunshine.... and unless the infiltrators are stopped, there will be nothing left of the good characters, and Castle Sunshine will fall, and our imaginations will run wild. You cannot let that happen. You are the bravest and most important imaginary characters of all time. OF ALL TIME. Now, you must vote to determine who are the evil characters in our midst."
Leopold "Butters" Stotch: "Excuse me, m-m-mister Vader, but aren't you an evil character?"
Darth Vader: "No. I totally turned good before I died. Now bring the evil characters before me, or I will choke the life out of you and throw you down a shaft. Also, and this is very important: I am your father."
Butters: "Y-y-you are?"
Darth Vader: *facepalm* "No...."

If they don't work for you there, that means they won't play in your region. Nothing all that important happens besides a summary of the story so far;
Al Gore finds evidence of Manbearpig, and "flies" off to rescue the world from the evil imaginary creature.
Aslan the lion explains how Castle Sunshine is under attack by the forces of evil, and that it is up to Butters to save them all.

Talking about him not flinching is ofc complete bullox. . The only way he can react is to put another one in the lead, or having his mate do that for him .. (:idea2: kind of like what you did)
Captain blackadder didn't 'Flinch' either, but you were apparently perfect fine with him in lead.... So come on DE, that reason was awful :p

Hey I was voting Auto, that's the difference. I couldn't have saved CB if I wanted to (and knew he had two votes, which I didn't). I just didn't think Auto acted scummy (or, in-acted scummy).
But sure, you can choose to believe that I threw my D1 vote on my mafia partner so I would potentially need to retract it and cause a mess. It might work in large games; it doesn't in small ones.
I'll only apologize the switch if Auto turns up as mafia. Otherwise, my switch is perfectly legit.

Darth Vader: "By all means, try."
Popeye: "Woah! Something's got me by the throat, it's chokesing me! Help! Put me down, whoevers you are! I'm aksing you nicely! Ack.... ack....."
With Popeye dead, the good creatures of Imaginationland went to sleep for the night, hoping they had destroyed at least one threat.

The man was fast asleep, when he heard a knock of the door of his quarters. Rising from his sleep, with a choir of angels singing, and much releasing of doves, trumpeting (etc) which mildly annoyed the tired man, he walked over to the door and opened it.
Jesus: "How can I help you, my child?"
Unknown figure: "I heard that you can die and rise from the grave! Is this true, mister?"
Jesus: "Yea, look upon me, and know me. I have performed that miracle before."
Unknown figure: "Gosh, could you do it again? PRETTY PLEASE?"
Jesus: "It's getting late...."
Unknown figure, with glowing red eyes: "SO ARE YOU!"
With that, the creature attacked the robed man. After a vicious mauling, there was nothing left of the king of all kings.
The next morning, they gathered together and discussed the events of the previous night.
Darth Vader: "There is still at least one assassin among us. Find them, or you will suffer the same fate as this one."

Well yes, that is what I am accusing you for.. It doesn't sit well with me when people change their vote 10 minutes before deadline-- Although you make it sound absurd that I would believe you would cause a mess like that as a mafia, it's the exact same reason you use when voting for me :) - So I fail to see why you would use such an argument in your defense, when such reason is good enough for your offense.
I will vote for you for the moment. Vote: Diamondeye
although I think that people who changes their votes like that should be lynched, I would also empathize with a few more candidates being lined up for lynch

Re: South Park: Imaginationland [In Play]
I think that it is likely that if DE was vote switching to save CB, he would have continued voting autolycus, rather than switch randomly to JHT. Unless he was trying to save auto then, but as he said, it would be rather weird if he voted his mafia partner just to switch out at the last moment.
On another note, I'm infinitely more curious about the number of kills considering that I remembered, and checked again:

The difference is that mine was an elaborate action to skew the tally; as I said, I hadn't seen the extra vote on CB, and I though I was effectively giving JHT the death kiss; if he was mafia, I'm sure it would provoke one of his scum buddies to try and save him (although voting CB would've been better than voting me, in that case).
You on the other hand reacted on it as I expected a potential scumpartner would have done. That's why I'm voting you. I can understand why people are voting me, but it's still a wrong move.

Do we have any role blockers in this game? That could explain the lack of the other kill, but so does this, but there still was a kill so at least one mafia was active, so we should try for him first, I think.
-
Re: South Park: Imaginationland [In Play]
The reason why I want to lynch an inactive, classical_hero, is not so much about the possibility of them being mafia, but more, strange as it sounds, to prevent the mafia from killing them. Since this is a game where scum aren't revealed on death, the only people we know are innocent are those the mafia kills. I'd like to make sure the mafia can't keep telling us "the person who isn't talking is innocent so you can trust his lack of advice." If we lynch inactives, then the mafia a) has to stay active themselves, giving us a record to analyze, and b) has to kill more active people, who can then help us identify the mafia later in the game with us knowing they're innocent.
-

Your reasons doesn't sit well with me at all.. however to be fair with you, I don't know how to feel right now; your actions reminds me of those in council of villiant that just shifted their vote from Tincow to survive, which we spoke a bit about.
The case on Joooray is well spotted... As I think all save Joooray has been actively online, I think we are down to a 50% chance of him being scum.. which is ofc a very high percentage chance. However imo chances are equally good that Johnhughthom was scum - In which case, Diamondeye was really lucky.. Viewing the number of active people that happily join that bandwagon might suggest that it was JHT who was scum.. This is ofc just speculations, but worth a thought imo..
Anyway the best choice for today is to Vote: Joooray

I like Autolycus' reasons for lynching inactives

I see Iforgot to unvote. . Unvote; Vote: Joooray

Re: South Park: Imaginationland [In Play]
Well, ok the reason for only one kill last night may be:
1.) One of the mafiats weren't active, and that mafiat may have been in charge of a kill order, so it didn't go through.
2.) One of the targets was protected.
3.) One of the mafia were roleblocked.
Now, the most possible is that one mafiat wasn't actve, and as others have noted, Joooray hasn't been active.
Therefore Vote: Joooray

I'd like to make sure the mafia can't keep telling us "the person who isn't talking is innocent so you can trust his lack of advice." If we lynch inactives, then the mafia a) has to stay active themselves, giving us a record to analyze, and b) has to kill more active people, who can then help us identify the mafia later in the game with us knowing they're innocent.
Fair enough, even though it does sound crazy. We are killing them to prove they are innocent, but i do understand what you are about.
So with that in mind I unvote, vote:Jooray

Darth Vader: Bring the prisoner to me....
Morpheus: We are all in a prison. A prison of the mind. DO YOU BELIEVE ALL OF THIS..... is real? Take the blue pill, you stay in Imaginationland. Take the red pill, and....
Morpheus' head hit the stone floor of Castle Sunshine. The rest of him hit the floor a second later. Darth Vader's glowing red saber was held menacingly above the body.
Darth Vader: You take the blue saber, you stay in Jedi land. You take the red saber.... and kill someone. The rest of you, get to your quarters and try to stay alive. Your attempts at survival continue to amuse me.

Re: South Park: Imaginationland [In Play]
Ugh, haven't been feeling well all day, dozed off and woke up far too late to vote. -_-'
Despite the general consensus, I believe that the missing kill from the previous night phase wasn't a case of an inactive mafia, but a ploy designed to have us throw lynches away on inactive townspeople; lynching lurkers/inactives is always going to end up with easy bandwagons for mafia to hide in, and here we have six people voting for him (two late votes, though).
I don't really have a suspect as of yet, but I'd definitely start in that list of six people and I would probably have voted for woad&fangs again; gut feeling.

Re: South Park: Imaginationland [In Play]
That night, the good creatures of Imaginationland went to sleep.
However, one man was up the whole night, pacing around.
Al Gore: "I know he's here.... I just know it! WHERE ARE YOU MANBEARPIG??? I will curse you if you kill even one more defenseless child!"
Al Gore tore off his shoes and looked inside them.
Al Gore: "I know you're in there! I've got you completely surrounded!"
Suddenly, a furry creature popped out of his shoe, startling him.
Al Gore: "Gahhhh! Manbearpig! I knew it was you!"
Unknown: "Relax, mister! I'm not Manbearpig!"
Al Gore: "You don't fool me that easily! Stay back, or I will use my awesome Goring powers on you!"
Unknown: "Goring? Gee that sounds awfully painful!"
Al Gore: "Just listen to the sound of my voice.... listen closely.... it's super important! I'm cereal!"
Unknown: "That's okay, I really just came to congratulate you. It turns out, they finally finished recounting the ballots, and you've become the REAL President of the United States!"
Al Gore: "Really? I always knew this day would come."
Unknown: "Only in your imagination...."
Al Gore: "No.... no that's not true.... that's impossible!"
Unknown: "Search your feelings, you know it to be true."
Al Gore: "I just can't live with myself anymore.... good-bye, cruel Manbearpig-filled world!"
Much later on, a woman was flying around in the sky, in her invisible plane. She spotted something large and furry in the forest, yelling for help. She landed her aircraft and had some trouble exiting the plane. Where was the door handle?
Come on, it's gotta be around here somewhere.
I think it's more to the left.... no, lower. Lower.
What do you mean it's locked? Look for the keys. Oh yeah, right, they're invisible too. You can't open the locked door from the inside? What kind of crazy design is that? You're saying you can't get out of the plane? Oh for the love of crumbs.
*Game host draws a door on the plane.*
There. Next time, try flying in a visible plane.
Too bad your clothes are visible. But I digress.
Wonder Woman: "I'm here, woodland creature! I will rescue you from the bear trap!"
Unknown: "I haven't eaten in forever! Please help me...."
Wonder Woman: "I can collect some nuts and berries for you."
Unknown: "But I can't just eat nuts and berries! I'm starving! I need something more substantial!"
Wonder Woman: "What do you want to eat?"
Unknown: "Crispy chicken breast and a couple of drumsticks. But I ain't got no chicken...."
Wonder Woman: "EEEEEK!!!"
Darth Vader: "There were more remains found last night. Don't fail me again."

Re: South Park: Imaginationland [In Play]
Alright, Secura and Captain Blackadder, step up and give us your confirmed-townie wisdom!
I could see the case for eliminating another inactive, but if we haven't hit a scum yet, we've only got two more shots.
Therefore, I'm going to vote:YLC His reasoning for voting jooray was weak, and it was joining a bandwagon.
