So I got sent home early today...
With a bloody, bruised, and swollen nose, severely swollen and lacerated lip, tooth pains, and scrapes on my leg.
Basically, this guy that I've been having trouble with all year decided that, rather than be a man and try to fight me for real, he would simply come up from behind and sucker-punch me in the face.
I honestly don't know what the **** happened, I just remember walking on the pavement, I got hit from somewhere, i hit my head on the ground, and I saw him jumping back. I've already beat the **** outta him this year, which is probably why he didn't wanna fight me like a man.
When my head hit the ground, my head was sooo disoriented and dizzy I couldn't get up for several seconds. Unfortunately this meant that by the time I was up, he was long gone and I couldn't do anything else.
However when he does get off of suspension, the moment he says something to me other than "Sorry I was a dishonorable little p****", rest assured his ass will be laid out on the ground. I don't fight dirty like him, but I'm better than him.
Just wanted to let you guys know. God, I'm alot uglier than before :embarassed:

You must be mad. I never even knew there was a p-word.
Why do hate each other? Violence typically is not the answer.

No, they are abominations that deserve purging.

Re: So I got sent home early today...
Instead of beating him up and getting suspended yourself, just have sex with his girlfriend.

Then go after his mom, and impregnate her. It doesn't matter if she's ugly, right? Pleasure aside, this is for vengeance.

Re: So I got sent home early today...
Tell him, you'll see him on field, show him whats up in a little game of American Football. Preferably a suplex, just so he gets the message. If that doesnt work, follow him to his house, touch the door then proceed to beat the crap outa him. Can't get suspended if you have already been home.

Re: So I got sent home early today...
TB(brutally)H, c'est la vie.
Reasonable people only fight to defend themselves physically, or to bloody up another on 'principle' or 'honour' or on 'moral grounds' or some other indefinite concept. In the latter case, these just causes for violence are merely labels to justify their uncouth savagery. In the former case, there are no rules, no morals and no principles. But ultimately, it's survival and likewise people become animals, not as bad as those that take the moral high ground, but an animal nevertheless. It's not pretty, but face it, there's no medal for gallantry or 'playing by the rules', and if to survive you've gotta fight dirty then so be it.
This holds true in your case OP. Now you can lower yourself to the barbarism of your assailant by punching him in the face after the absence of an apology.
OR:
Bearing in mind that the status of a human being is subjective, you can refuse to acknowledge him as such. You can accept that justice has been served with his day(s) off of school (I know that sounds more like a vacation) and you don't have to take matters into your own hands. You turn it into a war of attrition, degrading his self-worth piece by piece. You can do it verbally if you wish, just make sure you're not the instigator. Make him redefine his vocabulary. Turn "Fear" into a synonym with "Jonathan" over time and if ever he tries to assault you again, well, defend yourself of course, but consider it a success - you didn't lower yourself to raw and crude forms of dispute resolutions first. :)
And then you can impregnate every female he knows. ;)

If you are 16, that means you are in High School, right? (unless you dropped out...) Wha you should do is A) purchase a Claymore Anti Personal Mine, B) crack the lock on his locker, C) open the locker, D) place the Claymore Anti Personal Mine in his locker, E) run away, F) hide behind something, G) wait for him to show up, H) watch him get blown to smithereens when he opens his locker, I) laugh, J) run out and urinate on his carcass, K) flee to Mexico.

Re: So I got sent home early today...
Here is what you should do the next time you meet him. Approach him stoically and confidently. Remove one glove, slap him across the face with it. Then, challenge him to a duel. Have one of his or your female admirers to provide two dueling pistols. Meet him in the middle of the football field after school, then, walk ten paces away from one another, turn, and fire. This is the most honorable way to solve your problem.

lol I couldn't trust him to go all 10 paces, he'd take 3 and turn.
Apparently, basically everyone who knows him thinks hes a lil beotch and isn''t surprised that he did what he did. He is now known school-wide as a coward and dishonorable ****.
Aaaaaaand, next time I see him (and a good amount of people who dislike him know this as well), I plan on simply letting him know that I'm there, and then proceed to drop-kick him squarely in his man-boob, recovering, and pounding his face in. At this point I'm angry enough to where I don't care about suspension. He's been beaten to hell more than once by other people this year, and he still hasn't learned his lesson. I won't be the one who lets him beat me and be done with it.
-
Re: So I got sent home early today...
Or you could prove to him and the world that you are a stronger person than he is by letting any notion of retaliation go.
So exercise some self-control and let it go.
If your really want to be a Marine, then show some discipline and next time you see him, wave and say hello. If you are lucky he will be so caught off guard by your actions that it would be equal to beating him up.
Besides, beating him up solves nothing. All it does it further the conflict. Violence is a horrible thing that should only be used when there is no choice.

It may not solve anything, but I'll retain/gain my cred and I'll feel better about myself. I've put up with his crap all year long, and done nothing but smile at him. He actually pushed me earlier that day and got right up in my face (without doing anything), and I just smiled at him, a big smile in response to his hate-filled expression. Where has that gotten me? Nowhere. Where will beating the ass outta him get me? Still nowhere but like I said, it'll make me feel better.
-
Re: So I got sent home early today...
It always strikes me as odd that people like to claim a person who beat them wasn't "playing the game" correctly. He beat you plain and simple. Accept it. You can either try to settle it like a real man or you can try to get in a fight again. If you go with the latter, this time you should try and get the drop on him.
-

beat me plain and simple? no. I've already beat him "plain and simple" earlier this year. Obviously he didn't learn, and decided that rather than try it again he would come up behind me. I will most certainly not try to get the drop on him like he did, because regardless of who he is I am honorable and I don't fight dirty.

Dude, you lost.
You don't get do-overs because you don't think he fought fairly. This aint the middle ages boy.
Your entire attitude, both here, and on facebook screams of "NUH UH, HE COULDNT BEAT ME, IM THOUGH WAAAAAH"
Especially when your recent attitude includes doing this:
"Just ran into my little brothers room, yelled "DAS BOOT", slapped him in the face, ran out."
Woah, theres some pictures I wish I didn't see.

Re: So I got sent home early today...
Why do you and the other fella have a disagreement in the first place? Is there trouble in paradise?
-
Re: So I got sent home early today...
If you beat him, then he'll beat you up, and then you'll beat him up, and then he'll beat you up, until one of you ends up killing the other. So you have two options: stop the cycle now, or kill him now before he has a chance to get you!
-
Re: So I got sent home early today...
Anger is like drinking poison but expecting the other person to die. Count your losses and move on, this is petty, and ultimately degrading.

Because having blood on your hands is the 'cool' thing to do and makes you 'feel good' and retains your 'street cred'.
It's savages that believe in such primitive values, and it's savages that deserve to consign themselves to a cycle of violence.
But if that's what you want, if that's what your heart desires and you have nothing better to do than resolve a petty dispute (and I can assure you: it's school, it's petty), just provoke him until he snaps and make sure he's covered in more blood than you.
have.... fun... I suppose.

Re: So I got sent home early today...
I always enjoyed grinning like an idiot at any agressive people I met during my school years. On the two occasions that two sepparate kids tried to attack me I still kept smiling. One was quite scary I'm told since I was grinning through a face full of blood from my nose. This just caused them to look completely irrational and stupid since because I didn't hit back the situation clearly didn't call for violence.

It's true though. If you knew this guy you would know that he is a total puss, like everyone else says. It doesn't matter that it's not the middle ages, he's the embodiment of all that goes against the creed he says every day at JROTC (dishonor, disrespect, physically unfit, a liar, etc.) and most of all he jumped me from behind. So regardless I'm going to get a rematch and I'm going to kick his ass. and that's final.

That's always a good sign to stop and rethink the situation from scratch.
It sounds like you just accept the situation as it is and don't think a lot about it, maybe he's just that way because nobody likes him and not the other way around?
Of course you're angry at him and what he did was wrong, but now's the time to rethink the situation.
Of course you may have already done so and still come to the conclusion that he is angry for no good reason, but consider that he gets punished for his aggression, you want to become a marine helicopter pilot, you have a goal. I don't know whether or not the marines are looking for brutal thugs but in case they're not I wouldn't risk that goal just to get back at some guy, imagine you hurt him a little more than you actually wanted or he falls the wrong way and then your whole future is that of a convicted felon or whatever it's called in the USA. Maybe this isn't likely but it surely has happened to people before and you should think about whether exacting revenge is worth risking that you ruin your life.
You can always do or not do, but you cannot undo what has been done.
-

You have been in two fights within the last year, so you should know already, but in case you don't, the human body can be surprisingly fragile at times. You hit him in just the wrong/right spot or you knock him down and he lands on something and you could go down for GBH or even manslaughter/murder. Granted you are a minor so you won't go to gaol and it may not influence your career, but then again it might.

1. whats the other fight? I've been in one in the past year and it was off-the-record aka only a few people know about it.
2. you're talking about a 1-in a-million chance. I'm certainly not going to kill the guy, especially not in a fist fight. don't be ridiculous.

Yeah, because you totally weren't unable to move for a few seconds after he hit you and you fell on the ground.
There also aren't just the legal consequences, imagine you make him fall even harder than you did, he gets permanent brain damage of some kind, he becomes the living proof of your aggressiveness, you will have to explain this to your future wife and kids etc. Your whole family will know that you are the one who permanently hurt someone over some petty issue where you can't even say how it started.
Of course it may be unlikely, but it's also a petty issue. The risks may be low, but so are the reasons to beat him up in the first place.
And then consider the gains, if he finds out you have a strong character and don't exact revenge, well, let's just say I used to get into fights with a guy at primary school, but one day I learned that beating him up at the first sign of aggression was not the best way to go and I changed my approach.
In the end I even got invited to his birthday party...
We didn't exactly become best friends but a friendly atmosphere is usually preferable to a violent one and it does feel good when you see that some simple action or inaction can completely change certain things, that your decisions have an impact on others, sometimes in ways you wouldn't expect.
If you do however choose to beat him up, the chain of violence is likely to continue, maybe next time you're even the one who won't get up anymore, considering that you already had some problems last time...
Give it some thought instead of one-liners.
-
Re: So I got sent home early today...
Like I said, the chance is so slim that it's not worth taking into account. I mean come on. That's like saying not to go skiing because some people can get seriously injured.
We are talking about a FISTFIGHT. and one that probably wont last long anyways. UFC fighters beat the living hell out of eachother for minutes on end and don't die or get life-long injuries. A high school fistfight isn't going to end up with someone getting permanently injured.

Skiing is a pleasure for everyone involved if noone gets seriously hurt.
Hurting someone for revenge isn't, you already go there with the aim that someone comes out of the affair with serious pain.
Also keep in mind that sooner or later you will hit the pavement again as he sounds like someone who would then get revenge again, but hey, if you like that, go ahead.

The point is that, while the intent is to hurt him, nothing is going to happen where anybody gets seriously injured. It's ridiculous to think that it will.

Re: So I got sent home early today...
You should only use physical violence to defend yourself. Picking a fight with him will just make you look petty, because it is petty.
-
Re: So I got sent home early today...
Using force to accomplish something is not a good Way. Rather than harm yourself with thoughts of violence and vengeance, consider how to better protect yourself from unjust aggression. Practice your zanshin; continuous awareness of yourself and your surroundings will go a long way in avoiding situations like the one you have described.
Nothing will frustrate an aggressor more than them not being able to harm you. Remaining calm and in total self control will frustrate them further. Many who resort to such aggression will quickly become disenchanted and look for easier prey. Consider learning how to neutralize aggressive energy by directing it in such a way that it does no harm, or when absolutely necessary, is redirected back at the aggressor.
The ultimate goal of an honorable warrior should always be to restore harmony. Sword of No Sword; win without aggression. An aggressor has already lost.

Anyhow the fellow punched you first instead of punching few hundred other school mate of yours.
There must be a reason why he hates you.
Be careful though. He can't win against you in a fight head on, and if this assault didn't satisfy him. He try to kill you next time.

Consider legal avenues as an outlet for your anger ; ie getting charges pressed and getting him forced to pay compensation for any medical costs, pain and suffering, etc.
Also, this guy's in JROTC? Could he not get kicked out for this?

Wait, what?
First off, I didnt know you had one.
Second, dont let her control your life.
Based on everything Ive seen (Im a senior in HS and you seem to be a sophomore), HS relationships rarely last. I only know of one relationship which has lasted more than a year. So dont let her control your life until college (when relationships are more mature and more likely to last, maybe even end up in marriage)- at least.
Its your life. Not hers. You run it the way you want to.

Assault in the first case, rape in the second.
You may be in America, but you can't assault people because you feel like it.
You're showing the type of behaviour that gets you kicked out of anything that has discipline.
If you do it, you're no better than the guy at the end of this video:
What that guy did at the end there left the man disabled.
think about that.

Re: So I got sent home early today...
However, she is less likely to be subject to the derationalizing effects of emotions such as anger and hurt pride, and can make more sensible decisions. So I think it is a good idea.

It's not about controlling me and don't you dare think for a second that it is. I want her opinion on it and that weighs very heavily with me, and thus will probably be my decision on the matter.

Plus we didnt even know you had a girlfriend, so she clearly must be new.
