Kingdoms-Teutonic hotseat

Yes I'm starting up another one :beam: this may seem ambitious but I really did it for the people who did not get into the last one,
Here are the factions:

The Teutonic order - Tristan de Castelreng
Lithuania - Doug_Thompson
Novgorod - Zim
The Holy Roman Empire - Elite Ferret
Denmark - Deguerra
Poland - PerfectOne
Mongols - phonicsmonkey

The rule on turn times:
48hrs to play your turn or give me a reason why you need longer,
then I have 24hrs to find a replacement giving them an extra 48hrs to play it,
if I don't find a replacement the turn will be skipped to avoid slowing down the game.

Seeing that this thing takes no time at all (I expected it would cost me more time). And since MP is better than SP (I hate SP normally):

They can always make their own one, you don't have to initiate every game yourself.
If enough people are around someone else can start a game with everyone not in this one.

yh I know tht (I dnt think im the god of hotseat lol) its just that the ppl hu expressed interest just seemed to wonder off after they found out it was full

I agree Bob, if one of the people who posted in our game thread wants in and there's no room, I'll give up my spot and just join whatever next kingdoms pbm starts.

Husar can have the Teutons if he has the game already and sorry cossack but we will start once all factions are taken, but when you get the game I'll still be interested in doing one with you if you start one up

well if some more players don't sign up soon then I'm going to start up this camapaign if that is alrite with everyone

How bizarre. All that interest disappeared from people who couldn't get in our game, so four out of six spots ended up being players from the same game. Maybe a quick few PMs to some of the interested folks to see if Novgorod will be taken. If not, let's get it rolling.

I've already Pm'd everyone who expressed interest in the last one and the ones who bothered to reply either said they didn't have the game or the time. I'll start it up tommorow morning probably.

the saves will work exactly the same as last time so for Stig's 3rd turn he will download the file 'Teutonic-3-2' and upload it as 'Teutonic-3-3' for pevergreen to download. (the first number is turn no. and the second no. is the player number)

yes, after you press end turn it will come up asking theh next faction to insert their password, you just press escape and save it in the format I explained earlier. Don't worry if you can't play your turn soon, there's no rush

Ok I want to make a few things clear.

Player to Player Diplomacy has to be agreed on?

Are there any limits on what you can do (ie Must Declare war, then after a turn do it?)

Player vs Player battles auto-resolved, what about Player vs AI

First thanks for the invitation and sorry for the late answer. I've been out of home for some days reason why i didi not answer before.

unless we mod it to add in the unplayable factions found in it, yes

there pretty much are no rules other than the ones the game sets. All battles will be autresolved including player vs AI, the console is disabled and passwords are used. Diplomacy can be in game, through PMs or posted publicly here, in fact I encourage scheming behind peoples backs using PMs.

Sorry MOSH but if you really want to join you have three options;
1. I could mod the game to make the Mongols or Norway playable
2. I, or some other kind soul, will drop out allowing you to have our faction or
3. You, or me if you'd prefer, could start up an entirely new hotseat which I'm sure will fill up quickly.

If modding is too difficult to do, (i would go norway) I will drop out, as MOSH was asked first. :bow:

actaully you asked before MOSH but I think it is simple enough to mod the mongols and Norway into the game (I'm not too sure about Norway because Proletariat will want to form the union of Kalmar) and no-one will be forced to drop out, and if anyone does need to it will be me becuase I am already involved in 2 other hotseats.

Could every player update the state of the world in his turn by stating the events (deaths, battles,...) etc that took place during its turn ?

I think it will more immersive...

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

I'm really sorry for the hold up! Had some real life issues come up, and had a little less pc time the last few days. Also, I'm actually going to Italy friday night for ten days, so I'm worried about holding up the game again.

If someone is willing to replace me, then I'll most willingly give up my spot. I did commit tho, so if it's acceptable to the other players, I'll post my turn tomorrow and play again as soon as I get back, two mondays from now.

It was the first turn so you can create the password, although I just uploaded 2-1 (doh, just realised it should be 1-6, if someone could rename it, have a plane to catch soon). If the rest of the players would like, I'll give up my spot to gibsong and he can replay my turn.

I'll be gone until the 8th, so I understand if people think it's unfair of me to hold up the game twice. Up to you guys, just mentioning it's fine with me
