Unto each good man a good dog
Wow, that has to be the trippiest farewell message in the history of the Org. I'm just talkin' about the visuals, here.
Fare thee well, Beirut, and I speak for all and sundry when I say that we hope you stop back from time to time.
Hate to see you go, Beirut.
I'd like to say that to me, you were one of those personalities that made me realise that the Org is more then just some fansite to get information about a certain game.
You are one of those people that made me stay at this wonderful place full of joy and therefore I thank you
Enjoy Real Life, take care and best of luck
And a wonderful person as you, should only leave the building accompanied with a big fat thank you and a dito applause!

Whoa! Beirut's leaving?! How'd this happen? Just leaving the org? Just like that? Why, the frontroom won't be frontroomy enough anymore.............
Well, I wish you luck with real life and it's pursuits. Have fun!
The horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.
I don't know what prompted you to go, but I wish you the best with your real life Beirut and I hope you stop by occassionally.
Till next time!

Sorry to read that as well, wish you the best of luck in whatever you have planned and feel free to drop by now and then.

I'm shocked. Beirut, you'll be missed sorely in these parts, be it your genteel personality, or your mighty axe. Have a great time, and try to stop by every now and then!

It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.
No more axed threads? Oh noes what ever shall I dooooo... and no more warnings either... hmmm maybe this could be a good thing... But what am I saying, you'll be missed

Beirut, you have been one of the magnificent role-models here, a man's man and an inspiration. I have been privileged to know you both as a member and a staffer, and enjoyed the exchange of views both public and private. Together with Kukri, you have been one of the people to whom I have felt most close and would claim, however presumptuously, as a friend.
Along with BKS, you have guided this Frontroom and the members who enjoy it towards greatness. It is founded on decency and respect, two virtues that you so embody. Wherever you touch in the Org, it has been illuminated.
We will miss you.
I shall miss you.
Take care and I hope with everyone that you will visit us when possible.

Take care, Beirut. I freely admit I'm sad to see you go; you've been a rock, one of the great cornerstones of the Org since you've joined up. You're a good -- nay, a great -- man, and the Frontroom will be a lesser place without you (although I'm exceedingly glad that at least BKS will still be around). As everyone else has said, I do hope you'll at least stop back in now and then.
For now, though, I bid you adieu. Good-bye to my favorite lumberjack and Canadian; I hope that life continues to treat you well.![]()
EDIT: I echo much of what Banquo's Ghost said. (As always, BG, you are the soul of eloquence.)

Well, take care and remember to stop by once in a while

Good luck with your new beginning Beirut! Whatever it is you're doing. You'll be always welcome back.

Wow. Beirut, I can only echo what others have said - you will be missed. Your impact on the Frontroom and we patrons has been significant. I hope this just means a reduced presence as a regular (senior!) member and not a complete absence. I'm sure this wasn't an easy decision for you - it is tough to walk away from something you care about. I went through the same thing a couple of years ago. Best of luck to you in real life. I hope you and your axe don't become strangers 'round these parts.
I bet you didn't want to be a moderator anyway...you're a lumberjack and you're okay...
Okay, that was a bit lame and overdone, but somebody was bound to do it in this thread.
Oh, I nearly forgot: Beirut, thank you for everything you've done for the Org and its patrons. You honoured us with your service.![]()

Well. I certainly can't imagine the Frontroom without Beirut. Firm but eminently fair moderator, always a friendly presence. I hope the reasons for leaving are pleasant ones, and wish you all the best!

Unexpected enough. We all will miss you, the Frontroom you guarded like your best axe. I hope that whatever will depart the destinity will make your life better.

Thank you Beirut for being one of the great people that make this forum what it is! You were always on hand with useful advice when you had it, or a small quip when it was warranted.
You will be missed!
Rest in Peace TosaInu, the Org will be your legacy

Have you just been dumped?
I ask because it's usually something like that which causes outbursts like this, needless to say I dissagree completely.
You'll, right? This is a temporary self-induced exile, right? RIGHT???

A terrible thing to have you going, Beirut.
May the wind be always at your back, and may the trees always fall the way you plan it.
I hope to see you around these parts again, but until then, take good care of yourself.
