except that SDI did its jobs perfectly, along with Cruise and Pershing its upped the stakes of the game to the point where the USSR decided to fold.Anyone here remember the Strategic Defense Initiative (aka Star Wars) from the '80s? I'm seeing a lot of parallels between the arc of this system and the last one. I think the only remotely useful thing to come out of it were Patriot missiles, and even that has its detractors.
