5th Swabia
I hereby amend edict 5.1 to no longer include Scotland as a potential ally.
I would add instead that 5.14 If England does not accept an Alliance on reasonable terms that favor us, we ally with Scotland instead, of course only if they are more reasonable than the English.
I shall also say in my defense, that while edicts 5.5 and 5.6 may seem horridly expensive and senseless in the short term, but over time, vassals will pay large amounts of tribute to us regularly besides being a buffer zone against bordering hostile nations. We can also freely move through these lands without fear for aggression and retreat to reform when necessary without needing to worry about covering the retreat.
I realize however that the Milanese are on their knees and should be hanged, quartered and burned for betraying us to set an example. I thus withdraw edict 5.5 and second edict 5.13 which well complements my edict 5.3
Lastly, I wish to thank my fellow electors for seconding some of my motions and will hereby also second edict 5.12
