I think we had four potential battles lined up this turn. Peter has called off his. Jobst will have to pass due to Warluster's computer problems. So that just leaves Frederich and Arnold. Xdeathfire and Ituralde have until 9.20am Monday (UK time) to fight these two battles.

Ah sorry. Didnt see that post previously. Ignoramus, can you send me a pm if I have a battle to fight since I can easily miss a post on OOC and can miss the battle. Will be dling save and fighting it now.
    Edit:

Just fought battle and won with a heroic victory. I though accidentally quit the battle screen before I took a screenshot of the results. I do remember everything though. I had 217 deaths, killed around 200 and captured 350.

So with xdeathfire having fought his, let's see what's left, my additions are in bold.

Peter von Kastillien gibsonsg91921, Needs winrar, Withdrew
Arnold, with Ituralde as a substitute player

Ulrich will be very unpredictable as Chancellor. So far, so good
Ok, as far as I can tell, there are two battles left to be fought.

Ituralde, playing as Arnold, a sally forth against Hungarians from the fort east of Budapest.

Warluster, versus the French ex-Crusade, west of Hamburg. Are your techinical difficulties resolved yet, Warluster? Otherwise I guess we let the French pass unmolested.

->Edit:<- Warluster is still having problems with the game, that leaves Ituralde with the last battle.

    Here's the save:

    http://www.totalwar.org/patrons/pbm/kotr1240-2.rar

Deadline, as given by econ21, is 9:20am GMT

Let's try to get these done, so Ignormaus can proceed with the save on Monday.

No worries, mate, I'm here and will fight the battle today.
Don't know if Warluster has the save now though?

From the timing of Warluster's post and OKs edit, Warluster won't fight his battle this turn.

    And the Battle is won!

    kotr1140-3

I let Arnold stay inside the fort. If you could move him south so that he can meet up with Sigismund next turn and then they can return north and take care of that second Hungarian army and get Sigismund knighted in the process.

If it hadn't been for Sigismund I would have taken down the Second Hungarian Army too. That way we can make sure that Sigismund sees action.

    Cool Ituralde.

Gee, looking out for Sigismund huh? I wonder why?

Hmmm, besides getting Sigismund knighted, Arnold and him going into battle together could have some interesting story connotations, hopefully not involving friendly fire.

Ituralde, Is it worth writing up? The second battle with Sigismund would be due to the off field issues ;)

Finally, Sigismund will be knighted. Perhaps we can work on getting rid of that level in 'discontent general' as well.
Here's to an interesting battle alongside Arnold.

    I just have a question.

I am trying to install my M2TW game again (because I uninstalled it)

When its installing, about when its half way done it comes up with a error message saying theres something wrong with Data Pack 3, or something similar.

    Does anyone know the problem?

Warluster, Have you tried doing a complete reinstall, i.e. erasing all traces of M2 on your hard drive and then reinstalling? It seems a lot of people have had problems upgrading to 1.2 if they have downloaded mods or changed the game files, like changing the King's Purse.

You could also check out the apothecary or the M2 section of the Citadel for help. Perhaps an advanced search aimed at those two places might turn up something. There's also the official support site and forum as well.

Data Pack problems is probably due to a scratched CD, a dirty one, or somehow getting the files on that CD corrupted. You can try to clean it a little and then reinstall again, or else you might need to get that CD from someone else.

Thanks all, Yes, it was what you said, a dirty CD (lots of fingermarks) But its working perfectly now! Yay!

Have you ended the turn yet Ignoramus, because I'll fight my battle now if needed.

Nearly had a turkey, because I thought I'd deleted the Patch 1.2 Set Up. Phew!

Ignoramus hasn't posted here to take repossession of the save, so I think you can safely pick up Ituralde's save and fight your battle. Try to do it before 9.20 am UK time (eight hours from now).

Oh, I just found something really good!

Check out this mod: mentor Mod

I reckon that'd be good for KotR, it will certianlly add some IC flavour, and you could have the old 'wiser' ones pass on moves and stuff like there a 'Master'?
Do you reckon it'd be good for KotR?

And Ignoramus did you receive my PM?

Edit: I found another one, where in-game you can add titles, like Count and stuff, there are a few other mods we could also use for KotR.
Linky THis one will rock! You can have family lines, rebellions, become a GrandMaster, this one will definately help KotR!

Econ: I can only find out how to add money to the HRE, not the other factions.

It's pretty simple, if repetitive. From the FAQ:

This one is very interesting. Do we have any volunteers to test it out in-game and report on how well it works?

Looks interesting yes, but are we not a bit too late in game to start using it?

And will it work together with FH's mod?

They do offer something different and appear interesting. The mod mentor would sound like it would help the IC stuff but could it be too restrictive setting avatars up to a location? It also works best on the 1 yr/ turn or less. That would not fit our current game play of 2yrs /turn.
The BBB also looks very interesting. It would definitely affect what we use because the VnV file is modified and this stated to have fixed all errors in the file. I think that would be FH expertise to see what the file change offers.
I will give BBB a try on the fun factor and CTD but nothing beyond that in technical game play or behind the scenes mechanics. I will download and try later tonight.
