OverKnight, for Elsebeth being a wretch you seem entirely too attracted to her.

-edit- I think you need to change the year that the story took place in.

As I've done since Elsebeth was introduced, I've interpreted "wretched wife" in unconventional ways, a strained marriage or a Machiavellian wife.

Also, I'm using Elsebeth as a bridge between Otto and Matthias. This will help explain why some of Otto's values seem to be making an appearance in Matthias. (OOC: It's insurance in case I'm not of a good enough RPer to make the two distinct.)

38. She was quite young when she married Otto. Actually, the age difference between her and Matthias is almost exactly the same as between her and Otto, only reversed. It was one of the parallels that lead me write to write the bit.
