I've taken a first stab at revising the playlist, including updating people's influence. Please take a look at your character and let me know any corrections.

Library is now fully updated except for titles and the general House summary. Those things can be done without access to the save, so I will probably do them Monday. Amusingly, I will have more time to work on KOTR when I'm away on business. Apologies to all those whose PMs I have neglected. I will resume my normal level of activity after the weekend.
I got a question, I have no idea how to complete the things as count. It says I can set the taxes, choose the building queue for my settlement, but how do I do this? Do I take the save and do everything to the settlement then send it back out? Help I'm sort of lost.![]()

Roadkill, just post your instructions in the Chancellor and Governors Reports thread:

You'll want to load up the save first, though, to see what buildings you have and what you want to build.
Taking a save you must have 1.3 patch or you will not be able to open the save. I just found that out tonight on the kotr1300 save. I am patched over now.
Just a reminder for all (and a friendly pointer for those new):
You need to get KOTRfix 1.28a (or whatever the newest version is - usually in my signature) whenever you do something that affects the game (i.e. upload it). Thus when you are fighting battles, being chancellor or taking screenshots for the library, it is imperative that the fix is installed, working, and in use on your end.
The latter two files (buildings&campaign_db) are only needed for the chancellor and those who play battles during AI turns or end the game turn. For the sake of not forgetting about them and having to refight your battle (or have it autoresolved), its advisable to have them in your data folder regardless as they do not harm your game.
If you are unsure whether you got the fix running properly or not or how to use it or have concerns, PM me.

Elector titles and appointments for Swabia (I don't really know the other houses well enough):
House of Swabia
xdeathfire - Friedrich Scherer, Count of Paris, Fourth Elector of Swabia, Knight
Ignoramus - Wolfgang Hümmel, Count of Metz, 8th Elector of Swabia, Knight
Factionheir - Hans, Duke of Swabia, Fifth Elector of Swabia, Ex-Chancellor, Crusader
econ21 - Elberhard, Prince, Count of Rheims, Crusader Count of Acre, 6th Elector of Swabia, Knight, Crusader
Warluster - Athalwolf von Salza, Count of Dijon, 9th Elector of Swabia
GeneralHankerchief - Dietrich von Dassel, 11th Elector of Swabia
Note I skipped tripwirescars and Pharnarkes who did not stay for longer than a diet session in the calculation.
btw, Elberhard's daughter is Eue not Eve

Why is CA 19.1 not on the ballot?

I need build queues from governors and orders for Household Armies from Dukes within the next 14 hours or so. AussieGiant, Pivateerkev and Stig, the army orders are particularly important given that Edicts 13.1-4 look like passing.
Not true at all. I updated to the version in your sig right before I took the screenshots.Originally Posted by FactionHeir
Hmmm in that case, something went wrong with your installation/execution of it. Hans still shows as "Legendary Commander" on the 1280 and 1300 screenshots. Since version 1.27, this should only be "Great Commander".Originally Posted by TinCow
Could you please verify that the fix is properly running? Alternatively, a sure way of making it work is editing your medieval2.preference.cfg by adding the following (anywhere before or after another []):
[io]
file_first = true
After doing so, save and mark read-only. Then start the game.

Right, this might be easier:
Download the following file, extract it and copy it in your main MTW2 directory. Run the game using the KOTR.bat file which will be in your main MTW2 directory after copying this into there.
Also if you use this saves have to be copied into
C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\KOTR\saves
instead of
C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\saves
This also allows you to use multiple mods, if you want to.
Here's the download:
KOTR1.28a modfolder
Once FH releases a new version simply copy his data folder into:
C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\KOTR
On the OOC logistics of the next 10 turns: I am going to aim to complete turns within 48 hours. This means that I am going to ask players to fight offensive battles within 24 hours, rather than 48, and to fight defensive ones within 24 hours, rather than 48. This may be relaxed in exceptional circumstances (e.g. lots of battles queued).
But to avoid going too fast and to give people time to make in character interventions, there will be a minimum 48 hour period between each annual Chancellor's report. If you want to speak in the Diet or write a story, you will have to use those 48 hours. If you need longer (e.g. you are writing a long co-op story), let me know and I will slow things down.
Basically, a lot is going to happen rather fast in the next 10 turns, so it would be advisable if people check this forum every day or two.
Not that I'm complaining about the battle, but, Fredericus Erlach isn't yet knighted, but put in command of an entire HA, isn't that illegal?
Fredericus Erlach, Overseer of Genoa, Count of Ajaccio in exile, 4th elector of Bavaria.
Lothar was in command of the BHA at some point without being a knight, but he couldn't use it to fight any battles.
Still, I think it would probably be better if you get knighted the traditional way.

You are right - I did not spot that. Bavaria is in a pickle, with 2 armies and only Lothar in Europe knighted.Originally Posted by Stuperman
I will try to get you knighted before the army sees action - perhaps using the Lothar rules-lawyer workaround of you leading a detachment.
I'll do so when I get home next weekend.Originally Posted by FactionHeir
As for Bavaria, there are no conflicts and no problems. Friedrich Karolinger is in command of HA Otto and he was knighted by Gerhard Steffen a while ago. HA Gerhard is commanded by Lothar Steffen, who is obviously also knighted. Fredericus Erlach is the only unknighted Bavarian and he is not in command of any army. My orders for him simply stated that he should join whichever BHA was likely to see battle first.
Sorry, Bavarians - that was my mix up (Fredericus and Frederich are too similar for my befuddled brain to keep distinct. EDIT: or even to spell, "Friedrich" not Frederich).
The Steward's report for 1300 is up:
https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showp...&postcount=287
It includes a letter from Siegfried penned by Ituralde.
For both OOC and IC purposes, we are now in 1302. I will not press end turn before 48 hours, so people have a chance to react to events etc. I am going to make some moves on the map and see what, if any battles, need to be assigned to other players.

It's going to be a busy term for the history books isn't it?
Chretien Saisset, Chevalier in the King of the Franks PBM
Just a question, do people want it possible for the Kaiser to be impeached, or do we let this play, as part of the catastrophe.
just let it go, i think. the charter amendment, if i remember correctly, allows for a twenty year buildup and a twenty year cataclysm.

Good question. By giving econ21 and TC carte blanc to bring forth Chaos, they could find some way to dodge impeachment. However, that shouldn't stop our characters from reacting in a consistent way to the ongoing events. Of course, it may be difficult to do that, since OOC we know something bad is coming and that can alter our reaction as well.
God knows Matthias is about to start frothing at the mouth, but he just finished his term as Chancellor and is a Bavarian, so he takes the donation of Palermo and Naples very personally.

People can protest in the Diet, but please don't try to kick out Siegfried just yet. It would kill the plot we've worked out. (I know this OOC injunction is a bit of a plot hole, but we are not Shakespeare...).
I don't know, somewhere along the line someone's bound to say "A plague on both your houses!"
"I'm going to die anyway, and therefore have nothing more to do except deliberately annoy Lemur." -Orb, in the chat
"Lemur. Even if he's innocent, he's a pain; so kill him." -Ignoramus
"I'm going to need to collect all of the rants about the guilty lemur, and put them in a pretty box with ponies and pink bows. Then I'm going to sprinkle sparkly magic dust on the box, and kiss it." -Lemur

Impeachment can only happen with an Emergency Session. That requires the consent of the Kaiser (not gonna happen), the Prince (not gonna happen), or 3 of the 4 Dukes. I doubt 3 Dukes would agree on it quite yet. Even if they do, Elberhard/Theodora could have two of them dragged kicking and screaming from the Diet. If they're not in the Diet, they can't lend their voice to a call for an Emergency Session (so sayeth the Kaiser, who is able to interpret the Charter however he wants). Thus, no Emergency Session is possible and an impeachment vote cannot be brought.
Doesn't mean you can't raise a ruckus though.
Ask for Siegfried tomorrow, and you shall find him a grave man.
I'm in the mood for some ruckus-raising, but I'm banned and busy eating babies, as PK would say.
