Out of character thread XV

Um... someone please tell me that this evening's wine has gone to my head. I just looked at AussieGiant's save game and it seems Arnold is now called "the Saint." Let's see THAT one be RPed properly.

I guess he never had "battledread". Funny because Jan does. Has to do with how many people you fight and how many enemies your avatar kills and so forth. Completely different from captordread, strategydread, or ransomdread so I guess that explains how Arnold could have one kind of dread and not the other.



For those interested, here are some details ripped from the noc site. battlechivalry is gotten from:

50% chance whenever General without BattleDread has 9+ kills in battle.
Whenever a defending General without BattleDread fought in battle at odds 0.06-0.49.
66% chance whenever a General without BattleDread fought in battle at odds 0.5-.
33% chance whenever a Catholic or Orthodox General without BattleDread fought in battle against an Islamic General.
66% chance whenever an Islamic General without BattleDread fought in battle against a Catholic General.
33% chance whenever a General without BattleDread wins an Average+ Victory with less than 10% enemies killed, without the General fighting, at odds 0.94-.

I guess the way to reconcile the seemingly contradicting traits is this;

Arnold is very knightly and chivalrous in battle but afterwards... watch out. ^_^

(which I guess means that Jan is the opposite. Mean in battle but really really nice afterwards.)
