The only tradition here is the abuse of power by men who earned none of it in the first place. This tradition is so corrupt and evil that I suppose many of us simply take the fact that the Kaiser is repressing his subjects for granted.

If that's what you mean by tradition, I fail to see why it's worth fighting for.
