I believe in this crusade, the leaders of scientology are ask for over 300K to become an actual member and to get into the "positive" areas of your thetan levels.

If most of you guys remember I ordered a few books on scientology a while back, they were the biggest load of bull I've ever read. I mean really a science fiction writer comes up with it.

They are only targeting scientology because they charge money for their information on "Religion", while other churches, Mormon, Catholic, Protestant,... etc etc, you can walk in and ask for a bible.

I support the goal of demolishing the structure of Scientology, though I am skeptical of how the 'anon' will really apply themselves. Tis easy enough to run a simple DDoS attack on some target for a bit, harder to work with effect against scientology.

Being totally against religeon why would I care if people have to pay $300k to get into the church of scient-o-whatever?

I think those that give money to the TV evangelists just as foolish as well.

I think those who bought season tickets to my beloved Wellington Hurricanes are fools also.

Belief is a strange thing though....

A fool and their money are soon parted. A bit of lost money is no real physical harm. Are scientologist doing actual harm or just "scamming" or providing a source of comfort to believers?

-Note that you think they are scamming because you don't believe in it. That does not make it real or not - just your belieif that it is not. That has no greater or less value than some one who does believe in it. As previously stated I think it piffle but I also wont join - John Travolta or not!

I honestly don't care either way, but I doubt that "anon" can actually bring down Scientology. At least not with what they are doing atm they'll have to do much more than that, but I guess anything can happen

I think hacking to blacken someone else's name is wrong unless they did it first. People should and could be more civil than that and anon just seems to be a bunch of script kiddies who think they are tough because they can hack into some server and change a few things for a silly cause.
