I'd like that these nice customs were kept today.

hehe so THATS what IIRC means... ha ha ha. we need a name for romans... and they DO get powerful (obviously) hooow about something that has to do with the Nazis... I always thought about the Romans as the first Nazis.

The Nazis can be a sensitive subject, and to use them tongue-in-cheek in a game is not something we'd condone. Do not go down that road, otherwise the thread is going to get locked.

Yup, especially Germans are (obviously) very touchy with this subject, far more than any other country in the world. It still is a matter generally not allowed in comedial or "funny" ways here, it is still depicted a matter which requires serious discussions and reflection on history, as it is an undeniable part of German history and is depicted one of the strongest world-wide memorial of how easy things can get pretty quick pretty much fucked up...

Romans are in no way "the first nazis", the nazis chose to incorporate the Romans into their Wanna-be-heritage-and-greatness propaganda stuff (First Reich: Romans, Second Reich: The Holy Roman Empire, Third Reich: NS-Germany) with absurd "scientific" essays. To relate between the two "nations" would be quite wrong, only because both were heavily military-based and had some strong patriotic propaganda stuff going on doesn't mean they had much in common. In fact, you could have chosen about every ancient "nation" as a relation, as almost every culture was warfare-based (thos were ugly times back then...).

gonna end the discussion here before things get out of hand, BTT(back to topic) please
Just wanted to make a remark on behalf of the Germans in this forum...

I still think For Baktria the best name regardless of what anyone else says is The Indian Take-away.

Also, for SPQR, The Red Sea?

Now, I want you to write that line a hundred times all over the city, and if it isn't done by morning, I'll cut your balls off.

Also, and I will keep saying this until something is done about it. For Super-Baktria, it is actually the rules that they should be called the Indian Take-Away. For Saka they should be called the Chinese Takeaway. Anything else and I'll drown you in absinthe.
