A furious Benfica fan dressed like a devil (and looking like an idiot...) invade the pitch and push the liner right after FC Porto scored 0-1 at Benfica's stadium last night...![]()

Fantastic Old Firm game that's exactly what I needed after watching Sons limp to a 1-1 draw with 10 man Shire. Also two goals for Kenny Miller lol.
Now I'm looking forward to the two Scotland games next week. Unlike with the Euro qualifiers I'll now be able to watch them on Setanta!![]()

I don't suppose you'll be telling me now that Miller is anything other than the dross we both know
him to be? Burley seems to favour playing duds and otherwise decent players well out of position
though, so it should be an interesting, if shambolic affair regardless of who goes out there to take
that mauling.
Edit: Just as an aside, I see England's closed shop has been opened briefly to let Jimmy Bullard
in.

Man City have been taken over by an Abu Dhabi investment company, and they have immediately bid
£30 million for Berbatov. Who needs any other club to provide comedy value in England when there's
Citeh?

What do the fan think about all the latest news. Kevin Keegan leaving the Magpies, Robinho choosing Manchester City and Berbetov's long-awaited move to Man Utd have finalised.
First and foremost, good luck to the wee man; I wouldn't be too keen to work under Dennis Wise orBreaking news is that Keegan has not left the club.
have him spending my transfer money either.
Robinho did not choose Citeh. He stamped his feet, threw his toys at Schuster, ["He's not my father!" / "I
wouldn't want him to be my son.", so the flowery exchange is said to have gone.] while demanding to go
to €h£l$k¥. Real thought it'd be a laugh to send him to Eastlands for his whining - and Citeh doesn't either
have, or know how to incorporate him into the team. Add to that the simple fact that he's not worth
anywhere near that much, and he is almost certain to be a spectacularly underwhelming player for them.
As for Le Sulk II [Bulgarian Variant] I think it'd simply be justice for Dimi to sustain a double fracture in
his first few games.

Well, yesterday's two big signings were still ridiculously over-priced. And glad to see good old Scumchester breaking more rules on transfer day and carrying out extremely thorough medicals to serve their needs.
Amazing transfers by Man City and it seams their boss supported by those Abu Dhabi guys is ready to bid 166 million euros for...Cristiano Ronaldo in January, Portuguese media has just announced.
I know the power of money in football but personaly i don't believe Ronaldo will even sign for City...

Huh? Kevin Keegan might not leave after all, what's all this fuss about Newcastle?
Reality looks to be that Keegan may well have walked; though regardless of the details, Ashley and Wise
have released a statement saying that he hasn't been pushed, purely to cover their own backs. They've
effectively shot themselves in the foot over their handling of this already, and majorly misjudged the
situation and how a significant number of Kev-worshipping Geordies would react.
As for Citeh, can't think the fans'd want Ronaldo playing for them. Just smacks of another drastic
miscalculation made by people who do not understand the local population and their take on the
football club they've supported for generations. [And crucially, how they view their rivals.]

It seems that Alan Curbishley wasn't going to let Keegan beat him at the sack race and made a mad dash for the line!

2010 WC Qualifiers Group 1:
Malta 0 - Portugal 4
Albania 0 - Sweden 0
Hungary 0 - Denmark 0
Good start for us while our major opponents both draw.
Group 7:
Romania 0 - Lithuania 3(Romanian collapse?)

Hahahahahahaha. And you guys are against a GB team? Not really in a position to be snobby.FYR Macedonia 1-0 Scotland [Pathetic.]
Aye, 'nuff of this. The boot for Dormirnech.Austria 3-1 France [Au revoir, Astroboy.]![]()
A lot of the supposed big teams are slipping. England's performance against pub-team Andorra once again raised more questions than answers, but a win's a win, plus Andorra did try to kill off the game. It'll be interesting to see them play in Zagreb on Wednesday, however. It will be a big test for England, can they past? They're certainly capable, but I'm not to convinced.
England cannot qualify, if they do then they will keep playing the same players in the same positions. If they do not qualify then Cap will have to do a spring clean which will be the remaking of England. Although tbh I can't see England qualifying. Go Spain, a wins a win.
Nothing To Display
Scotland as usual just can't do things the easy way. Maybe now the expectation is gone they will get the necessary points in Iceland. Anyway, I don't know what to expect from Iceland. On the one hand, they get results like 3-0 away to Northern Ireland a few days before they beat Spain, and then they go and lose 3-0 to Liechtenstein.
2-2 away to Norway seems like a very respectable result, I'm now nervous that Scotland's campaign could be over by Wednesday...
At the end of the day politics is just trash compared to the Gospel.
I think England will qaulify, whose the other good sides in thier group apart from Croatia...
In remembrance of our great Admin Tosa Inu, A tireless worker with the patience of a saint. As long as I live I will not forget you. Thank you for everything!
If memory serves, Iceland were only a few minutes away from beating Spain themselves in one of the
qualifiers. That aside, given that the team appears to be lacking all confidence and has that collection
of muppets inspiring them, I fully expect us to lose 2-0 regardless of whether Iceland have a go on the
day or not.
Ukraine are a useful side, to understate their ability. Besides the obvious figurehead of Shevchenko [who
despite being a shadow of his former self still has a handy knack of scoring in international fixtures. He
also likes to dive theatrically for penalties at every opportunity, and unfortunately in these games he
seems to get the decision more often than not.] they have a good mix of young players from the likes
of Kharkiv and Dnipro. There're also the oldies such as Tymoshchuk; who you might remember recently
schooled the Manc midfield in defensive holding and diving in the Super Bauble.
Other than that guaranteed loss of points, Belarus are more than capable of causing upsets.

Well done lads. Quite severely inebriated, but we held on with 10
men against Iceland, and Croatia look to have had their FIRST ever
loss in Zagreb, so yes- well done. Kirk Broadfoot, I never doubted
you for a second, oh no.
Switzerland lose 2-1 at home to Luxembourg.
